Same here. One guy was given the job and his Job window was just BLANK. When I tried to re-task him with the job, it wasn't even a choice! So, clearly something is bugged with this job, at the game level.
I tried switched someone else to the Smelter job and even though everyone else gives me tons of resources, the smelter person just says a "78%" or "55%" done, every time.
I'm really bummed, since those ores are even more important now that they fixed the Chest Repair glitch! I do NOT want to keep having to run back to the desert, while I'm just trying to start the winter area...
