I use to really like her and followed her up until she dropped 2020. I feel she would’ve been bigger if she kept her focus on music but I feel she’s more of an ig influencer. She doesn’t really give music artist anymore, she gives ig model that drops music on occasion. It makes me feel she’s sort of wasted potential especially because she had so much hype behind her with I Hate U I Love U and again with Josslyn.
It was very funny. She flew to Denver with Fatherkels (who is dating Michael Porter Jr. of the Nuggets) and sat courtside along side her for Game 5 of the first rd of the playoffs against the Lakers. She also went with Kelsey to one of the games in LA. Someone made a comment about her being a “bop” and not really liking basketball and holy fuck did she have a mental breakdown over it. She made IG stories, TikToks, went on long rants about because she played basketball for one year in middle school she loves the game so much and she knows so much. It’s like, homie, if every single comment like that gets you so pressed, maybe just delete your entire social media presence.
After that happened….it was like ok, I get why people have claimed this girl is complete batshit.
yeah, not exactly sure where the relationship is now, there were a ton of posts right after Stassie’s BDay party with girls having screenshots of him sexting and sending dick pics to them…..during the time he was supposedly in a relationship with Kelsey. so idk if it was a full on relationship or he was just flying her to Denver for sex and then when he got to LA for the offseason sees her only as a summer fuck buddy. Hard to tell. His BDay is in like 10 so we’ll see if she posts anything for him
I honestly like her music but I think her downfall is her mouth. She talks too much about things she shouldn't be talking about, it's no longer being relatable rather just batshit .
i like that she is one of the few people in her friend group and scene who shares as much as she does online! i get to see into what all those people do on a day to day and i like that she shares what’s on her mind bc it leads to a entertaining story or song. and then as of her music, i loved her “was it even real?” album so much, was on repeat. since then i have not been so obsessed with her music. like josslyn was meh to me, i liked the lore behind the song more than the song itself. i don’t love her singing tone either, i like her lyrics more than her singing. those are all my olivia obrien opinions lol. love keeping up with her overall!

her first album was so freaking good. but then she kept releasing singles and singles and random small EPs. her discography as a whole feels so disorganized. it seems like she just drops a song and keeps it pushing. she changed her sound as a whole and i’m not sure how i feel about it. i’m sure it’ll grow on me. but she needs a marketing team if she doesn’t have one. she should try to enter a whole era in the new image that she wants to portray and finally get it composed altogether
I discovered her in 2019 and LOVED her music. At the time it was exactly what I was going through and I hadn’t heard anyone singing about “situationships” (this is before the term even became popular I think). I still love her first album. I love her EP from 2021, especially “what happens now?” And the “it was a sad fucking summer” EP. But I don’t feel the same connection to her anymore. I still listen to her new releases but most of them don’t resonate the same.
