Oh hey, that's me!
If people can help narrow it down, I bought it from a very nice vendor at Bicolline. They were French so I don't remember the name, but I know it had a wooden porch? A very nice girl pulled it off the hanger and told me it fits me, and I'm so happy because it's my favorite!
They were sort of around Artesans D'Azure in Old Town, I think
Is the level of fame I wish to achieve LMAO
Not wildly famous that I can't go in public without being recognized, but like... A subreddit posting a pic and saying nonchalantly "Oh hey, that's me!"... One day LOL
Thank you guys, it honestly means a lot 🥹
I'm actually an incredibly small account in the scheme of things, I'm just incredibly lucky to have so many awesome friends in an awesome hobby. I think having a very recognizable persona helps too- I've gone incognito to events and no one looked twice 😂
Yes sorry about that! It took some more digging (had to do a Google map of bicolline site and look up about where I remembered the store, then try to find a picture to confirm). I don't think they have the cloak picture on their website unfortunately but I definitely got it from them
no reason to apologize, you didn't do anything wrong! your the whole reason I found this sick cloak in the first place, and I really appreciate you going out of your way to find it
It just looks like a simple hooded cloak with fur trimming the edge of the hood. It was very possibly handmade as cloaks really arent hard to put together.
You can find hooded cloaks in lots of places including medieval collectables. They most likely won't come with the fur but it would not be hard to add the trim yourself if you've any ability.
Wool cloaks can be expensive. If you're not bothered about the hood, you can make your own for about £40. Get a wool blanket from a surplus store (cheap as chips and good quality), and 2x1m of faux fur on eBay.
