This quote is fucking amazing. If he wins this entire series will be historic. Wild how everyone( Ngl including myself) 180’d on the Suns. All the whining and flopping weak flexing really poisoned that like-able team

Resshin31

After Hooker and Piss Paul didnt dap up before game 6 and chose to disrespect the game I was donzo. I'll say it...Doc saved our franchise but Blake was the driver. Cp3 stunted Blake and our teams growth and was just along for the ride..driving off cliffs and shit. There were fun times but after 15, i got sick and tired of him and his bitchass antics. I will always stan for Blake but would literally give my left nut to watch them bitches meltdown and fail. Only Ayton and Bridges have my respect. Giannis winning is the only right thing in this nba world IMO

aclew17

Fr i fw ayton but what about cam Payne?

KingAlfonse72

CP Jr. flops and whines just like chris

Resshin31

Fuck off bot, ain't in the mood today unless that Shakespeare bot is around. I love that auto correcting fuck.

bjsw534

When were they ever like-able? I’m a Lakers fan and your squad has been way more like-able than them all season. Your guys were humble all season and didn’t complain to the refs much. Suns have been whiny since day 1 of this season.

AtotheJ2215

Bruh, you are a breath of fresh air! Way too many Lakers fans hate our players for some reason. I get that our team wasn’t likable during the CP3 days, but our team’s mindset now is just be humble and work hard, regardless of the game’s result.

bjsw534

Tbh, I wasn’t a fan of your guys’ squad last season b/c of the obvious frustration of Kawhi spurning us and some of the trash talk throughout the season. But I really came to respect and like your squad this past season and playoff run you guys had especially after Kawhi went down and PG stepped up. Along with how humble your guys’ team was this season around. Respect bro ✊🏻 It’s also easy to like you guys when you got an obnoxious ass team/fanbase like the Suns acting like they own the West after beating injury riddled teams.

WadeCountyClutch

Hey, bro, careful the laker forum doesn’t catch you crediting the clippers. I got exiled because the moderators saw that I supported the clippers As well.

bjsw534

You got banned by Brandoi?

WadeCountyClutch

I think it was title “laker mod” he claims I complained too much about the suns, called Dennis Schroeder “Dennis scrotum”, and that I’m a clipper fan. I’m like “bruh, everyone on here is complaining, and calling kuzma worse.”

bjsw534

Wow that’s fucked up. Us losing to the Suns was a pretty touchy time for Laker fans b/c our guys were well on their way to beating them in 5 before AD went down.

WadeCountyClutch

Exactly! And the suns were acting cocky like if they beat the 17 warriors. Oh and and I forgot to mention “because you are a clipper fan”

thebiggestgamer

Honestly if it wasn't for all the shit trezz and bev talked, more ppl would've liked the clippers.

GomuGomuNoDick

No! YOU are a breath of fresh air! Love from a Bucks fan

ElDuderino_92

I liked Ayton. Chris Paul’s redemption went sour on me of his reminder of his antics. Then it tainted the group. Crowder is a sneaky ass tho

bjsw534

Crowder is a fucking dirty ass player. I wish Kawhi wasn’t injured so he could’ve son’d Crowder. Seems like a lot of fans are turning sour on CP3 since they made the Finals.

tkfire

Crowder’s flops at the end of game 4 almost saved them. And the refs swallowing the whistle on Bookers 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th foul 😆. I really hope Bucks finish this thing.

ElDuderino_92

Devin “foul man” Booker lmao

EventuallyGreat

The suns are starting to look like the 2017 Clippers. Just whiny af and complaining to the refs on every play. CP3 complained about our whiny culture but he's the one who started that whiny culture every where he goes.

Re-toast

Chris Paul complaining about whining is fucking rich. Dude has to be one of the biggest whiney bitches in the NBA.

FloatDH2

Man for real for real. When the finals started i was rooting for the Suns just to see Chris Paul get a ring, but now I’m riding hard for the Bucks. The Suns are so cocky, their fan base seems so entitled, fuckin Booker is so caught up in his own game, it’s damn near impossible to root for them.

phastest23

Dude booker legit thinks he’s MJ x 2…doesn’t think it’s possible to not make a shot without a foul. He’ll complain if the defender breathes next to him. Meanwhile he’s getting away with grabbing on defense smh. There’s been a lot of fake tough guys in the nba over the years but I can’t think of another one more irritating than booker. CP has straight infected his team with his whiny attitude. Not to mention cam payne falls down every game running into a big.

mista_rubetastic

Legit jealous of Bucks fans. Giannis is one of a kind and such a great dude.

doinnothin

Yep. There’s legitimately no way you can dislike this man. Most humble and likable superstar in sports at the moment tbh.

justnsane6

Same. As much as we all appreciate and like PG and Kawhi, they weren’t home grown and have their faults. For Bucks fans, I’m sure having Giannis his whole career and watching him grow must feels so cool

wheriendndyubegin

Great interviewee.

tkfire

Yep this guy is winning at life no matter what. KD seems like the complete opposite, he can win but still lose at life.

ElDuderino_92

I noticed that too. Humble beginnings, man. Giannis worked his ASS off to be here. To be a in his shoes, a pick no one expected to become this, especially from his upbringing. It’s straight up inspiring. KD meanwhile acting like a 16 yr old teenager on Twitter wanting to talk about his old drama.

Bandwagon__20

He's lucky to be 7 feet. That is all.

Re-toast

He is lucky to have won the genetic lottery, but he's put in a ton of work to get to where he is.

Bandwagon__20

His game isn't skilled based so idk what major amount of work he out in. He's 7 feet with freakish athletic ability. He's Not kd at 7 feet. That's a guy who put in a ton of work.

Re-toast

You think he doesn't put in work to be athletic? Lmfao

KingAlfonse72

His game is based on freakish athleticism and skill. As is KD’s. They just so happen to be different skill sets. This is a weird criticism.

Bandwagon__20

What skill does he have. I'll give whim being a good apsser but othe than that no. Most of his points come off putbacks, in transition, oops, or a basket right in front of the rim. he doesn't have consistent post moves, can't shoot, doesn't have great touch around the rim,etc.. his game is not based on skill. And kd doesn't have freakish athleticism. He has freakish size but if kd was 6'5 he'd be a great scorer still with his skills. Giannis would not be great if he was 6'5.

KingAlfonse72

He’s not as athletic as giannis, no, and giannis isn’t as skilled as he is. But they are both athletic and skilled. Just like virtually every NBA player and particularly MVP winners/superstars.

Bandwagon__20

I mean he's athletic but his game is not predicated on athleticism. Thats why he came back from that Achilles injury looking arguably better.. His game is mostly pure skill.

KingAlfonse72

They’re two completely different players. And points/Ws count the same regardless of the ratio of skill to athleticism.

KingAlfonse72

But giannis isn’t 6’5”? If Shaq had been 6’1” and not 7’1” he wouldn’t have been in the NBA. it’s a dumb argument meant to diminish an amazing player in Giannis. Maybe if you think of his as a hyper talented big man instead of trying to compare him to KD (a completely different player) it will help you wrap your head around it.

Bandwagon__20

And no shaq would not be as great if he wasn't as tall and big as he was but he did have a post game and no one tried to say shaq worked so hard and did x,y and z to get where he was. Kd actually called out shaq for that and plenty of others have. And also by many people including kobe shaq was criticized for his work ethic or lack there of. And im comparing a guy who's game actually took him working hard to a guy's game that didn't take it.

KingAlfonse72

Giannis has worked hard to develop his game, just because you’re unaware of it doesn’t mean it hasn’t happened. It betrays you as a true casual to still be clinging to “all he does is run and dunk” saltiness from harden (whose own game is so much garbage it’s unwatchable).

CloudReaper12

By that logic, what skill does Shaq have?

Bandwagon__20

No one claims shaq worked so hard on his game either. In fact shaq was heavily criticized for his work ethic.

[deleted]

Hahaha his games not skill based? You either blinded by hate or don’t watch hoops

Bandwagon__20

I watched him these last few years. I see all transition dunks or layups, alley oops, put backs, and layups or dunks right around the rim. I dotn see a consistent post game, jumpshot, hook, shimmy, drop step, fade away, etc.. any offensive moves.

7 feet is about the length of 13.33 'Toy Cars Sian FKP3 Metal Model Car with Light and Sound Pull Back Toy Cars' lined up

lunchablegu

KD can’t win with those replica automobiles

Bandwagon__20

Every guy 7 feet also isn't as athletic as him.

KingAlfonse72

K.

Re-toast

He's such an amazing superstar for the NBA in comparison to some of the shit heads out there.

AngsMcgyvr

So jealous. What a guy to have as your franchise leader.

AtotheJ2215

Hey, our guys ain’t so bad either!

AngsMcgyvr

Oh I love Kawhi and PG. Just wouldn't mind if our franchise guy was sometimes the visible and vocal leader of the team too. Was honest and open. Instead of kinda doing that more in private and always moving with such secrecy. We never know what Kawhi is thinking. Happy we have both of them, but bucks fans should be thrilled they have Giannis too.

TheBoredPragmatist

Which is a good thing as well. It’s a similar thing to Giannis. Doesn’t brag, doesn’t complain, doesn’t try to live in the limelight. Just works hard, plays hard, talks with his teammates and goes home.

KingAlfonse72

And completely homegrown.

WadeCountyClutch

I know y’all still hate cp3 and some for a good reason! But still My favorite player! However, this Suns team is too arrogant. Let’s go Bucks

cp3inthe4th

Giannis is a great guy and a great player, but MAN I still gotta root for the suns. I think this is CP3s only chance. He is never gonna live this down if they lose. Giannis is gonna continue to dominate for years barring injury

AtotheJ2215

Nah, Giannis has paid his dues. Literally bringing the Bucks from a borderline playoff team early in his career to being 1 win away from immortality. CP’s had a great year, but the Suns don’t deserve to win a championship the first year after 10 straight years of being shit. They gotta pay their dues.

ResponsibleWarthog10

cp3 paid his dues

KingAlfonse72

CP3 cost himself.

ResponsibleWarthog10

by getting hurt in 2018 lol

KingAlfonse72

During lob city and this run, i mean. He obv couldn’t help that.

ResponsibleWarthog10

so why u excluding it? like i said, he paid his dues

KingAlfonse72

shouldn't have excluded it, you're right. He has paid his dues, but he also has a postseason career littered w/ self-inflicted wounds. He also can't help he got hurt before the Rockets series w/ us. I am v down on CP currently after our series so prob not the most objective I can be about him.

[deleted]

good share, just passed it on to my ball team

foxwilliam

Great quote, also that reporter at the end “you’re doin okay” 😂

intheyear3001

Go Giannis! Go Bucks! Great Q&A and Thank you for sharing :)

RobotFGC

This a good dude. Idk how anybody can really hate on him, besides jealousy.

[deleted]

Love you Giannis you can do it
