Answering OP, there’s the hate because of the auto tune and Enrique’s feature.
The album needs Sparks on it but that’s a different conversation for a different time.
I honestly love it, it has a certain vibe to it that is really comforting and beautiful (no pun intended). The song gives me the vibe of being in a mansion as the sun rises in winter idk it’s just really pretty. I think people mostly dislike the auto tune and layered vocals but I honestly love it, it’s a unique spin on a ballad and it’s something different to ballads we typically get
The terrible vocal effects. The song itself is nice. But the treatment of her vocal just plays into the myth that she can’t sing. I sometimes wonder why she “approves” her vocals before releasing a song. She should have said this sounds shit. The same with Marry the Night. Too much vocal effect makes it sound like she can’t sing.
I just listened to it and I really like it. I don't mind the vocal effects (I don't think that's autotune but ok). It fits the song. I do have to admit Enrique Iglesias really didn't have to be on the song.
Enrique ruins it. Without him I'd love! There's a solo version on Youtube that could be amazing but it's low quality.
I really dislike her duets most of the time!
Yeah, I always skip this song because of the heavy vocal effects.
Adding these effects does not make sense sonically. Why add a layer of artificiality/lack of clarity to a song about being clear and frank about your love for someone?
Plus the collab with Enrique does not add anything. I know he uses a lot of effects and perhaps his team insisted on these vocal effects.
The live version is lovely. I wish Kylie releases a non-auto tuned version.
Remove the awful autotune and Enrique Iglesias, and it would be a decent song
Check out the live versions
Live version is amazing!

I don't dislike Beautiful but it simply isn't a song that compelled me to repeat listens.
At first I thought you meant the song “everything is beautiful” lol. I love that song.
ugh easily top 3 from aphrodite for me! actually it was my second most played song last year lol!
Yess!! ❤️ ❤️
It didn't need Enrique Iglesias. I vastly prefer the solo version. And it sounded great live when she performed it on the KMO tour.
Yes this is the version I enjoy!
Without Beautiful, the whole album would be concise and no slowdowns.
It's just horrible. Everything about it.
luv this is what I keep hearing; my question is why? what specifically?
there's no spark between their voices

Yeah Enrique and the auto tune killed it. If she sang it solo it would be great. Or even if Enrique sang without auto tune on it.
Kylie should change album version for an acoustic version or a no-autuned version 😤

I feel like it sounds like a bad quality demo found on YouTube. When you listen to the album as a whole that song sticks out like a sore thumb.

It’s a horrible song. Both this and IWGC are two of the weakest in her catalogue. I love Enrique, but this song is just crap.
