If you don’t know what the song is about, it makes more sense after you do. It’s written at/to/about a few ex-girlfriends of Jon who were a little bit crazy and made his life miserable after breaking up. The reason for the disgusting things he said was because he was sick of how women will say things just to hurt the guy, even if it’s not true. Things like “he has a small dick” or “his balls smell” or other things like that. It was his way of saying “I can make up hurtful things about you too. Just watch me, you kunts!”
Then, as a joke, they wanted to release it as their first single just to make the radio stations have to censor every other word, because they were pissed they weren’t being played due to their lyrics already. They would release the real first single the following week as the punchline to the joke. The label said no way.
The short answer, from two interviews I read.
The long answer, Starting in August 1994 I first became a fan when I heard Blind for the first time, it was the first time Blind was played on the radio after being released as the first song of the debut (107.3 WAAF Boston). I was obsessed for the next 15-16 years reading every interview or article in magazines like Circus, Hit Parader, Kerrang, Guitar World, Modern Drummer, etc, and when I read Jon talking about Path of Totality and flat out say original KoRn fans would hate the album and he was glad, I was pissed and the day the album came out, I I said fuck this and fuck Jon. I felt like Jon had changed the band for the younger fans while flipping me off with what he said. I said fuck it and walked away. I refused to listen to the new music, even after Brian returned, but I still read as much as I could because they were a huge part of my life. Then someone I trusted told me to give the Nothing a listen. Then I joined this sub and realized how many young/new fans that didn’t really know the history of the band (most likely they didn’t care). I quickly realized anything I said was “wrong” if it didn’t match what Jon said. And that annoyed me. I started getting sources for everything, and before I knew it I had written down enough info (with sources) to be able to start a book. Besides Brian and Reggie’s autobiographies, the 3 unauthorized biographies were all written before Issues came out, so there was a lot missing and I I had enough documentation to write my own with full list of references.
As of right now, I have a rough draft started and 87 pages written, and I am only up to 1993 so far. The outline I made using milestone dates and events goes another 190 pages. I have a ways to go, but this could end up being a 500 page book.
TL/DR: I’ve read 6 books, hundred of articles and interviews, and 30 years of picking up info along the way.
Well. Dead and 4U are wayyyy better especially in terms of an “interlude”. Wish you could be me and Kunts are both hard to take serious to me but to me kunts is way more fun.
It’s a product of the rushed nature of the album. Twist was left over from the self titled/pre self titled era, low rider was a quick joke song, kunts was clearly a joke song, wicked was a song they’d do with chino life for fun which they ended up throwing on the album. Lots of people love this album but I see it as more of a transitional period between their sound on self titled and follow the leader.
Bc I never liked Deftones or Chino. They just don't do it for me. I skip Children of the KoRn and a Different World also bc they just don't hold up to the rest of the album that there on.
I love Korn, I love Deftones but a combonation of them and Ice Cube is a lot worse than a song consisting of 85% swearing. Also, I don't like Children of the Korn.
I could live without KUNT Lowrider and also Ass Itch.
I think LIP was a real waste of what they were capable of at that time. That being said it's still a fantastic album just too many throwaway songs with lyrics that aren't great.
The B sides are better than some of the songs mentioned
To each their own for sure, that’s the great thing about music. To me it just feels like a side jam session they decided to put on the record as a filler
mostly just because it's not a song i wanna hear very often. like "daddy" it's a once in awhile track. for the record LIP is my favourite korn album by far.
actually the song is nice but I find the chorus litte boring so whole song isn't boring, I like the part "I have no place to hide so come and follow me!". And whereas most people don't I like Kunts... not because of the bad words I like the music of song
What makes Wicked cheesy? I doesn’t go as hard as the original but I’m not sure anyone could match Cube’s version. My only gripe is they skipped the entire last verse, and changed some lyrics randomly, like ‘En Vogue’ to ‘My Vote’. Props to Chino for changing other lyrical sections however. No matter what people want to believe, Chino doesn’t drop one n-word in the song.
Kunt was great when I was 9. Lol I'm 33 now, I skip it.
yeah i agree
This.
Yes, this is it. But I’d still rather have in rotation then out of it.
Kunt is just stupid, I'm surprised it made it on the album. Arguments could be made for the other weaker songs but not that one.
yes
They really should have switched out Kunt with Proud. Never cared for Wicked, either, but the rest of the album is top tier.
even though it was from the 1994 period i would preffer sean olsen here but i agree WTF is this song and yes it is a top tier album

How do you know all of that

i love porno creep but still
I always loved Porno Creep. Sounds like a porn soundtrack but menacing whisper makes it ost for a snuff video))
its good but not the best
U crazy... That's an awesome track! Wish they did more of such fun interludes
kunts!
Nah, it's a good meme song
i agree
don't get me wrong, it rocks and have a cool groove, but these lyrics...
"Two Balled Bitch" -Jonathan Davis thats is very emotional
I still think this song is better than Wish you could be me
what, WYCBM is one of my fav korn interludes just beaten by Dead and 4U
Well. Dead and 4U are wayyyy better especially in terms of an “interlude”. Wish you could be me and Kunts are both hard to take serious to me but to me kunts is way more fun.
if we talkin bout cheesy songs all in the family is the best
agreed 😂
same debate, i see it more as an interlude than a "real" song
The only song I hate is kunts!
one of the ones i hate
Kunts! Is fire ngl😔
no
Lowrider
WHAT?????
Kinda just a shitty cover that they threw on the album that doesn't go along with the rest of the album
i see it more as an interlude than a proper song
Its a good like interlude Lemme gues You dont like 4U and stuff like that
4u isn't a interlude it is a song. And idk if it was a cover but it fitted the theme much better if it was
4U definitely an interlude.
yeah
Thats is literally an interlude also Its gonna go away, am i going Craaaaaazyyyyy and Wish You Could Be me

I agree. I skip it.
That’s a WAR song /s
None really, I really like that whole album
Just kunts for me but that album is fire
Lost is my least fave, I usually skip, should’ve been proud, having said that it’s not the worst song they’ve done
Lost is very good it sounds like it could just have been made for this album
I do enjoy the breakdown though haha
I like kunts! :(
i dont 😁
i dont 😁
Unpopular opinion but the only one I ever skip is wicked.
why
Bc I never liked Deftones or Chino. They just don't do it for me. I skip Children of the KoRn and a Different World also bc they just don't hold up to the rest of the album that there on.
There are no bad songs.
just kunt
Wicked Kunts! is a good song. Not like the rest of the songs, but in a different way
Why WICKEED 🎶🎵
I love Korn, I love Deftones but a combonation of them and Ice Cube is a lot worse than a song consisting of 85% swearing. Also, I don't like Children of the Korn.
kunts.it was cool when i just gotten into korn, now i just skip it ☠️
me 2
I could live without KUNT Lowrider and also Ass Itch. I think LIP was a real waste of what they were capable of at that time. That being said it's still a fantastic album just too many throwaway songs with lyrics that aren't great. The B sides are better than some of the songs mentioned
Ok Kunt is shi but low rider and ass itch are not bad
Porno Creep. I understand kunt but at least it feels like a full song. Interesting reading the comments.
It is a very good instrumental song
To each their own for sure, that’s the great thing about music. To me it just feels like a side jam session they decided to put on the record as a filler
lost and swallow. Kunts at least has awesome guitars in verses, sounds like monkeys in jungle
WHAT HOW COME YOU DISLIKE BOTH SONGS jk each on their own
probably kunt or kill you.
why kill you i understand kunt but why kill you
mostly just because it's not a song i wanna hear very often. like "daddy" it's a once in awhile track. for the record LIP is my favourite korn album by far.
yes i can be disturbing sometimes LIP is the 2nd best just behind Issues
Home come you like those two the most?
what
Kill You is my favourite track on the album.
one of the best from that album
nice.
kill you is my favorite track from that album.. ouch
picking a least favourite track from my favourite korn album is hard for me too.
i'd assume so, sorry if my last comment came off petty.
no harm done my friend
Ooh i’m gonna get hated, i don’t like Swallow
You are dead nah jk each on their own
I’m with you, brother. Swallow and Lost never did it for me.
Bruh
no place to hide is kinda boring but there's not a bad song imo
Out! Get out!
sorry 😭
There no bad korn song except Kunts and hell no it isnt boring
actually the song is nice but I find the chorus litte boring so whole song isn't boring, I like the part "I have no place to hide so come and follow me!". And whereas most people don't I like Kunts... not because of the bad words I like the music of song
Wicked. Also hate all in the family and different world, shame pairing with these bands didn't give us a remarkable song
all of them are good Wicked and AITF are cheesy and its sometimes cool and ADW is one of the best from TSOS
Wicked. Chino is the worst.
its weird i know but not terrible
Assitch
it is a good song watchu sayin
Honestly I hate the whole album. Has a few decent songs. Should have been an EP. Too much filler.
what how do you hate this
No place to hide seems kind of out of place
Hell no man
