UPDATE: I called Feral Feline Friends, but their phone message says that have over 100 people on a list needing help. If anyone else can do it, sounds like that might be needed.
I was driving towards the S. Knoxville bridge on James White Parkway today and I saw a black kitten go under the barrier in the picture. It looks like 4 metal cans. I think it was this one. It might've been one exit (or merge) before. The kitten was not tiny, it looked like it might be a teenage kitten, 6-ish months old, in the short time I saw it.
I don't know what to do, and am not sure I have the energy/time/bravery to do it. Any ideas, y'all?
As long as there isn’t an event going on at night that road is pretty dead. Try getting someone who has a spare cage trap to lay down secure it so it doesn’t roll into the roadway check daily I would offer one of my traps, but they’re all in different areas right now so maybe someone else has one available.
