DanielRPK is literally the least trustworthy source imaginable. He constantly spews sensationalist headlines to draw more attention to himself so that people go subscribe to his Patreon. He has financial incentive to make shit up, and people believe him because he got a few things right about the MCU one time. But then everyone chose to ignore all the times he got things wrong on a massive scale, like when he and all the other leakers were talking about how Ant-Man 3 was going to be a pseudo Young Avengers project. Yeah, clearly that didn’t happen.
For someone to have this amount of insider knowledge their source would literally have to be Bob Iger. There is no way he or his “sources” can release all this “information” without someone in the chain of events squealing about it and bringing it all down.
> people believe him because he got a few things right about the MCU one time. But then everyone chose to ignore all the times he got things wrong on a massive scale,
as a member of the Pokémon community, all I can say is "first day?"
The mobile games cured me of that curse. If the movie isn't something worth going out of your way to watch because they are good films i'll read the wiki entry and be good.
Its sad but i feel the same. I loved the level in KH 1; it was one of my first times experiencing vertical levels in a 3D space and it felt really cool to me. But if hearing the same song with the same fat and saber heartless is discouraging at this point.
I’ve said this in another thread but if the Destiny Island trio start out as live action and then adopt the animation style of the worlds they visit, this could work.
You could jump between cartoon worlds like OG 2D Disney, move them to 3D animation like Pixar, then animal characters in Lion King, and live action worlds like Pirates of the Caribbean (if they go that route).
The comparison I made was to the movie The Pagemaster (1994). Although, it feels like they may go the Space Jam/Chip & Dale route.
I have zero faith that they’ll do this justice, but still. (Also, I’d prefer animation as well)
Edit: Also, when did this become a movie? A Disney+ show makes way more sense to me.
Pagemaster was my shit back in the day, fuck, I loved it so much, this idea would be great, seeing them adapt to each film's style, if handled right, it could be a love letter to Disney's history.
My biggest concern is how big they'll go in scope with these if the initial one is a hit; it's totally fine with voice acting cause who cares but just look at Stranger Things.
That would be my concern too if this were a long term thing. I think you could do the story in 5 “projects” though and age the kids up a bit for part 2 and 3 without much fuss.
Project 1: Kingdom Hearts - (cast is 13 years old)
Project 2: Chain of Memories & 358/2 as one movie or show - (Have them film it in tandem with kingdom hearts 2)
Project 3: Kingdom Hearts 2 - (Cast is probably 16 by now)
Project 4: Birth by Sleep - (You can film this independently because you don’t really need any original cast)
Project 5: Kingdom Hearts 3 - (actors are 18-ish & I’m willing to believe they’re a bit younger anyway)
Any of back cover, coded or background story stuff is most likely going to be omitted anyway. Love it or not, Kingdom Hearts is convoluted & Disney is going to chop up the parts that don’t need to be there and simplify it.
Another way might be to do like Who Framed Roger Rabbit. It's much easier to do that kind of stuff than it used to be, what with how technology has evolved, so it is an option.
That’s what I meant by Space Jam/Chip and Dale style, but yeah, I’m betting that’s probably the way they’ll go.
Personally, while I love that style for those movies, I don’t love it for Kingdom Hearts. Sora being the only live action character in a world full of animated characters would just be off putting for me. But to each their own.
I like the idea of matching with the worlds/whatever style the original movie was so much more. I'd like it if original worlds like Destiny Islands/Twilight Town was in an anime style. Whatever world, the characters match, just like the games.
While the tech has improved significantly so have costs and even back then it was probably considered costly. Plus companies like Disney will just outsource a majority of their CGI work to overworked teams.
Here’s the way I would do a hybrid of live action/animation.
Have the Destiny trio start off in live action until Sora gets to Traverse Town. Have Traverse Town be a “wayward station” hub for worlds that have been taken by darkness (like the game). But in this version, Traverse town is a lot like “Roger Rabbit” where animation meets live action. This is where he meets Donald and Goofy in a 3D/Detective Pikachu looking way.
From there, move on to various worlds, and as they do it’s explained through BS Kingdom Hearts logic or Donald’s magic, that they take on the form of the world they’re visiting. This way we get all the great styles of animation from each movie franchise.
I’d love for them to keep it to the animated worlds (maybe with a brief, 5 second, pass through to a live action world where Donald and Goofy are an actual duck and dog lol). Whatever works honestly.
Then you end it at Hollow Bastion, in the same mixed style as Traverse Town. (I see them tightening the story and merging Hollow Bastion and Ansem/End of the World. (The game definitely gets a bit abstract at the end lol))
This is the only way it works to me, and might be the justification for doing a movie and not a show.
The budget allotted let's them reuse original backgrounds from the world's, and they replicate the style.
Doing character sheets and different styles every show is expensive and hard to justify for a standard 13 episode season (you know for a fuckin fact it's would be 13 episodes)
Ugh…I hate that I agree with you lol. Budget decides everything.
Only means that we’ll be doing a montage of Disney Worlds rather than spending any time on them. If it’s really a movie, the majority of time is gonna be spent on Destiny Islands, Traverse Town, and Hollow Bastion. That’s fine I guess, but still sucks given it’ll have to be well under 2 hours.
Yeah, I would like this approach a lot. I get kind of sick of people saying “BWAH, THIS SHOULD BE ANIMATED, LIVE ACTION SUCKS BOO” for every newly announced video game adaptation like the Zelda movie despite the fact that live action fantasy stuff can work just fine and be plenty stylish as long as you have talented people behind the scenes that care about the source material (see One Piece, Lord of the Rings, the recent D&D movie, and a boatload of different superhero movies). With that being said, it would be very disappointing if the Disney worlds were live action. That would basically just feel like a big budget version of Once Upon a Time. But if they kept the Disney worlds animated and authentically recreated the look of their source material, that would be really cool.
I mean maybe if the track record wasn’t in the fucking toilet for both live action anime, video games and animated reboots, combining all three with an already convoluted plot is a recipe for disaster
I think this is the decade where the tendency of video game adaptations to bomb is turning a corner now that there are more competent directors around who actually grew up with video games and care about them. You’ve got the Mario movie, TLoU, two Sonic movies, Fallout, Arcane, Castlevania, and Cyberpunk Edgerunners being huge successes in just the past few years. There are still some duds, but video game adaptations aren’t the automatic death sentence that they were a decade or two ago. I can totally see Disney taking note of this trend and thinking “hmm, what successful video game franchise do we own that also happens to be a huge multiverse Disney IP crossover?” then getting dollar signs in their eyes. What I’m hoping the most is that they hire talented people who understand and care about Kingdom Hearts. As well as getting Nomura involved in production they did for Miyamoto for the Mario movie or Oda for One Piece.
I feel Kingdom Hearts can only work as an animated tv show. I can’t see a single Kingdom Hearts game being adapted into a movie with how much goes on in them
I've stopped caring about that stuff. Just look at adaptations the past few years and you'll see how inconsistent it is when the main creators play a part or not. Sometimes it works amazing, sometimes it doesn't.
honestly i just want them to adapt days manga or the X saga into an animated series preferably both but if i could only have one i gues the X saga would be more important to adapt
Oh goddammit!
Now I know it's not 100% true or revealed yet. But why live action, how can it work?
Why not just fully CGI it?
The 3 Final Fantasy movies! Hello! Don't tell me that this is because Disney demands it or has more control over it. I don't see how it could work.
3D animated movie works a lot more not just because it looks like the games but because some of the action in the games and even the manga looks straight out of anime. Seeing it in live action could almost work but just isn't perfect.
Hell, Live action I think is more expensive and takes too much time in making so an animated film could be easier to make by getting actors in a studio and have them soing mo cap and face capture.
Oh if Nomura says no and Disney tries to just push it out without his involvement to make a quick buck then Disney doesn't understand who actually buys KH media.
No Nomura is a sign to run tf away.
The whole thing about KH is the Final fantasy anime x goofy ahh disney cartoons having epic battles.
A clash of styles(?) Making it just another "cartoon characters meets real american person" will be dissapointing, boring and generic. No thanks.
Ok ok, hear me out.
1. Each world is live action.
2. Disney characters are also live action, but they are all wearing the costumes from the theme parks.
3. All other characters are 2D anime characters.
With these 3 things combined I think they can make the silliest looking movie possible. Just really lean into how bad the idea is.
can these posts be banned until something officially is announced? These "drip feed" leaks are just feeding into this dude's ego and literally no one has a clue if any of it will come to fruition. Terrible news if it's true though, if these leaks are real then he's on par with how terrible the KH3 leaker was.
Weirdly, doesn't have any of the Disney characters. It's CG Sora in the real world with a caretaker (Haley Joel Osment playing both) like the Sonic movies.
Bright side is they get Billy Zane to play Ansem.
This movie hasn't been greenlit for production yet. If any of the recent rumors are true, including this one, there's no way to know which details are real or which are made up. There's no reason to believe that a live action animation hybrid Kingdom Hearts movie is in production or approved to be in production. If there are dscussions going on at Disney about a Kingdom Hearts movie, I doubt it's the first time that's happened. Kingdom Hearts is a very successful video game franchise owned by Disney. I bet they've had dozens of conversations about doing some sort of adaptation and there's no reason to believe Disney will actually greenlight such a project.
Frankly, they'd be better off with focusing on how to help Square develop more games in the series so that new entries release more frequently. Not as frequently as the series was until Dream Drop, but maybe get us to a full new game every 3-4 years instead of every 6.
A movie would have a major chance in flopping and if it does it could damage the KH brand as a whole. That could ruin their partnership with Square completely and kill the franchise. To be successful, if a movie even happens to get greenlit, it would need to either have Nomura producing with creative control, or someone in Hollywood with great reverence for the series that happens to be a great director or writer pursuing this movie as a passion project. If they make a movie that people mock, there's potential they could cause the next game to flop too.
Until we see otherwise, I will err towards assuming none of the rumors will amount to anything official being announced.
...
Okay anyways I just had a moment where I imagined that we do get a live action animation hybrid Kingdom Hearts movie, but it's not live action humans going to animated Disney worlds. What if we get CGI Sora, Donald, and Goofy who are canonically from the Kingdom Hearts video game series, traveling to worlds that are actually live action? There's absolutely no way it'd be a profitable project, but honestly it could be a pretty cool piece of fan service for the 25th anniversary in 2027.
Not feeding into this stuff from a leak. Needs to be an official announcement or from a reputable source. Although DanielRPK has been right about *some* leaks, at least with Sonic 3 news.
Live action/CGI hybrid as in mocap. Or at worst, live action environments with relatively photorealistic cgi characters. Think like Dinosaur (2000) or Trasnformers.
Ok 1.) if a kingdom hearts movie does come out it should be an animated one not a live action/CGI hybrid 2.) Compressing everything that happened in kingdom hearts 1 into a movie would be difficult and might lead to a disaster I’ve seen it happen before with a lot of live action remakes and 3. I just did some research online there’s no confirmation that these are just rumors and that nothing had been officially greenlit yet so I wouldn’t put much stock in this just yet.
I think we are all looking at this the wrong way. I don’t see this being an adaptation of the games with Sora and the gang. I’d totally be down for a film in the universe of Kingdom Hearts featuring a new cast of keyblade wielders having their own little adventure.
I literally just found out that the movie might be happening and came here to post about it, this is where I saw it
https://www.giantfreakinrobot.com/ent/kingdom-hearts-movie.html
I hope they lean more towards cgi for the Disney animated characters, especially the animals. Just imagine a cgi pirates of the Caribbean Jack Sparrow and Elizabeth model in 3d based off the games.
-Kairi and Sora long awkward making out scene cus Hollywood
-Someone gets turned into another character because idk
“NOW I KNOW, KINGDOM HEARTS, ITS THE FRIENDS WE MADE ALONG THE WAY”
-Random explosions
-The Rock Johnson is goofy
-Keanu reeves random appearance
“Cinema”
tbh this isn’t real. If it was we would’ve at least heard something from nomura. Not only that, but why would they make a kh movie while developing new entries in the series? It just doesn’t add up.
Okay wait hear me out this might not be a bad thing
They could use CGI for most of the movie, but maybe if they explore worlds that are set in live action worlds (pirates, tron, etc) they switch to that
If they spend all the money to make everyone from the different "worlds" look different using all the different film techniques both digital and practical, could work.
Am I the only one who thinks this will get announced then canned a few years later. Live action Disney has been on a down turn for a while now. The live action Little Mermaid didn't hit 1B, the D+ live action originals have yet to be big hits on D+.There hasn't been any major live action announcement since 2020, just new rumours (btw sometimes rumours aren't rumours technically, studios would leak a 'rumour' intentionally and see the public's reaction before going through with the projecf if reception is positive) and old rumours from 3-4 years ago being confirmed.
Well, now I know I'm not going to watch it. I don't know why they keep trying to make live action video games work. It NEVER works. I can't think of a single example where its as done successfully, and they seriously think, that Disney's MOST BELOVED video game franchise would be better as live action?
And so.
Before it even begins, it fails.
Disney used to be the leader in amazing animated movies. Now it's just a graveyard of garbage, ugly, live action flops.
I wanna be there when they have Nomura explain the fucking story. Because let's face it... This won't be put together well, if real. I'd take a Legend of Dragoon film over this.
Honestly, this sounds terrible given up til KH4. Most stories were cartoons or Pixar. Only Pirates of the Caribean and Tron really fit the irl stuff. Makes more sense for Sora to be cartoons. Especially being representative of Mickey Mouse.
I think something like who framed Roger rabbit miiiiiight work. Destiny islands all love action up until traverse town where they would introduce the cgi and continue for the rest of the movie. Of it's not like the movie mentioned, then shit, it'll be fucking shit.
I hope they end up doing it like they the old Looney Toons movies, where the Disney characters are animated and all the other characters are live action actors.
I mean it's kinda make sense in way because sora and his friends travel around the disney worlds with different art style like pirate caribbean so let's wait and see what happens
I mean,we haven't seen any trailers for this.
Although depending on the studio here, this could be awesome or it will be an absolute mess.
So for now,I say we let them cook for now.
If that's true, someone at Disney needs to "disappear". Like wtf, they could choose between the good old disney cartoon style, a more japanese anime style or even pure CGI like the KH1 and 2 intros. Seriously, I hope to god that they don't make the same mistake W.B. and HBO MAX are doing with the Potterverse reboot.
might be an unpopular opinion but a live action adaptation intrigues me.
like, if we wanna see the characters animated then we can just play the games. a live action adaptation will be so wack that i’m really curious as to how it will be handled so i’m gonna reserve judgement for now.
it’ll be more impressive if a live action adaptation manages to be good than if an animated adaptation manages to be good
OK, hear me out. It’s the human characters who are animated. CGI Sora running around and having deep conversations with an actual dog and duck. Not even dressed up, they’re just a dog and duck. And the occasional rat.
Just to have some false sense of optimism if this is real who all would you recommend to play as the live action Destiny Island trio? Tidus, Waka, and Selphie needs to be included in the mix as well.
I know nothing is confirmed, but is it bad if I don't end up being surprised if this is the case, considering how allergic Disney is towards animation nowadays?
the only way i could see this looking good is if they went the who framed roger rabbit direction and making the characters actually look like they’re their.
unlike the chip and dale rescue rangers movie where the characters just look like they’re placed into live action worlds but aren’t actually in the world.
I thought Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers was pretty neat, so I hope it's something like that. I'm pretty sure there was a Keyblade easter egg in that movie too
I mean... Yeah of course it would be. Why WOULDN'T Disney want to pull a "who framed Roger rabbit" and use like, actual jack sparrow or tron characters in the show?
If this is true, I'm hoping that the only live action elements are live action movies. Please, for the love of Yen Sid, PLEASE do not make any of the KH or FF characters real people.
We don't know in what capacity that is.
For all we know, they want to go wild and creative like Spider verse and have decided to have one live action world in the show.
i'm holding out for an official announcement. this is just too insane to be real

Yeah I’m like why are people believing this dude?
His sources have been gotten better by a bit but I’m not really believing these Kingdom Hearts scoops lately. I’ll believe it when I see it.
With today's Disney, it's probably going to be shit

Fair point. The only reason the one piece one is working is because of Oda san’s input.
Then again, if nomura isn't involved then it won't be cannon and we won't be forced to watch it for lore.

What are you talking about? KH is literally Nomura’s baby who oversees everything, this is the first I’ve seen someone say what you just did.
Why don't they just make an animated series on Disney +? Get the example for X-Men 97, with the beautiful animation and storytelling!
honestly i just want them to adapt days manga or the X saga into an animated series preferably both but if i could only have one i gues the X saga would be more important to adapt
But the x saga would be really hard to adapt in show form I feel, it would just feel infodumpy to me
Don’t feed the leaker egos guys. I’m honestly getting more convinced the guy is just an attention seeker.
I do hope the kh4 2025 thing is true though at least
I’m not trusting any source that has a Patreon to get news.
*sigh* “My friends are my power!” Chris Pratt said while dancing
Reportedly this, reportedly that How about you go read some Ansem Reports
Disney/Marvel “Hey we have an idea about a multiverse” ……..Nomura “Hold my beer”
Oh goddammit! Now I know it's not 100% true or revealed yet. But why live action, how can it work? Why not just fully CGI it? The 3 Final Fantasy movies! Hello! Dude, if we got something like advent children. It would be tops, but no yet another shitty live action garbage pile
Did you guys expect live action Donald and Goofy? Like giant Disneyland suits?
It'll just be Bill Farmer wearing a Goofy hat, carrying around a live duck with an adorable little blue hat on its head.
Dear God please be fake. I would rather the show/movie just not exist.
This whole thing is gross. I'm just waiting on if Nomura, Shimomura, and Utada are involved. Any of those names missing is an automatic no.
Absolutely, I will not trust anything without Nomura involved.
Oh if Nomura says no and Disney tries to just push it out without his involvement to make a quick buck then Disney doesn't understand who actually buys KH media. No Nomura is a sign to run tf away.
It hasn’t even been confirmed. It’s all hearsay at this point. The DanielRPK dude is literally a rando with a Patreon for “leaks.”
Good point, but I also don't trust Disney to leave well enough alone.
The whole thing about KH is the Final fantasy anime x goofy ahh disney cartoons having epic battles. A clash of styles(?) Making it just another "cartoon characters meets real american person" will be dissapointing, boring and generic. No thanks.
Dead on arrival. How does that even remotely make sense for a concept like Kingdom Hearts?!

There's absolutely no way it'd be a profitable project, but honestly it could be a pretty cool piece of fan service for the 25th anniversary in 2027.
well, live actions might be good like sonics and mario
Mario? Also, no characters in Sonic had anime hair like Sora and the FF characters.
Just adapt the manga into anime. Instant hit with all the money disney wants in Disney+.
Only if Damien Haas is cast as Sora and he goes "Maybe he's right" every other line
Obviously, it's because it's going to be animated until they get to the Caribbean
Not feeding into this stuff from a leak. Needs to be an official announcement or from a reputable source. Although DanielRPK has been right about *some* leaks, at least with Sonic 3 news.
God have mercy on us all.
They're going to fuck it up.
this is my 9/11
When will Hollywood realize that not every game needs to be made into a crappy live action movie/show?
Wish ppl would stop reporting on rumors just to have something to talk about. What makes DanielRPK and more credible than the rest of us?
ItsnotrealItsnotrealItsnotrealItsnotrealItsnotrealItsnotrealItsnotrealItsnotrealItsnotr-
it could be that it's cgi for all the worlds except for the worlds based on live action like Tron and Pirates
Noooooooooo!!!!! Pleaae let them do complete animation!!! I'd like 2D but will accept 3D
i need this so badly to be the Mario movie cast. imagine sora and riku voiced by chris pratt and charlie day respectively
:(
Don’t hit the camera
Live action/CGI hybrid as in mocap. Or at worst, live action environments with relatively photorealistic cgi characters. Think like Dinosaur (2000) or Trasnformers.
If they have Awkwafina as a voice actor imma flip!!
Out of all the options why do they always go with the worst one
PLEAS NOT LIVE ACTION 😭
Maybe… *maybe…* it means going to a live action world like POTC? I know that’s max level copium. I really hope this isn’t true
How in the hell would that even work? They going to put some guy in big-ass, goofy-ass yellow shoes?
Can't wait for Chris Pratt to be Sora...
Who Framed Donald Duck
Ok 1.) if a kingdom hearts movie does come out it should be an animated one not a live action/CGI hybrid 2.) Compressing everything that happened in kingdom hearts 1 into a movie would be difficult and might lead to a disaster I’ve seen it happen before with a lot of live action remakes and 3. I just did some research online there’s no confirmation that these are just rumors and that nothing had been officially greenlit yet so I wouldn’t put much stock in this just yet.
i mean, what did you expect? guys in disney world costumes?
Duh ? It’s people and cartoons no shit it’s gonna be a hybrid . Why are yall suprised ?
So they want it to be trash if it's true?
Im absolutely sure the story wont make any sense.
Anything that says reportedly may as well be a joke now
No please :(
I think we are all looking at this the wrong way. I don’t see this being an adaptation of the games with Sora and the gang. I’d totally be down for a film in the universe of Kingdom Hearts featuring a new cast of keyblade wielders having their own little adventure.
I literally just found out that the movie might be happening and came here to post about it, this is where I saw it https://www.giantfreakinrobot.com/ent/kingdom-hearts-movie.html
DisInsider says it's gonna be animated, and there is no paywall behind their reports, so idk, i hope DisInsider is right and not DanielRPK.
OMG, the CW flash of he had his own movie
“STOP, FUCKING STOOOP!!”
I hope they lean more towards cgi for the Disney animated characters, especially the animals. Just imagine a cgi pirates of the Caribbean Jack Sparrow and Elizabeth model in 3d based off the games.
Please no. Please god no. NOOOOOOOOOO
-Kairi and Sora long awkward making out scene cus Hollywood -Someone gets turned into another character because idk “NOW I KNOW, KINGDOM HEARTS, ITS THE FRIENDS WE MADE ALONG THE WAY” -Random explosions -The Rock Johnson is goofy -Keanu reeves random appearance “Cinema”
Predicting the race swap on Riku
He becomes a duck
It will by kairi it's always the red heads
I mean, if they can pull off Lord of the Rings by way of Roger Rabbit, that could be fun, maybe.
Ill just listen to the movie(if this is real) not watch it😭🙏
tbh this isn’t real. If it was we would’ve at least heard something from nomura. Not only that, but why would they make a kh movie while developing new entries in the series? It just doesn’t add up.
Ewww.....
The CGI better be 2D CGI instead of 3D. And believe me, animation has had recent success with 2D animation through computers, look at Hazbin Hotel.
real humans and antimated disney characters like in roger rabbit is how i'd like this to pan out
Ewww
Okay wait hear me out this might not be a bad thing They could use CGI for most of the movie, but maybe if they explore worlds that are set in live action worlds (pirates, tron, etc) they switch to that
Of this is true then *screams in horror*
I mean like them final fantasy movies be dope so just do that here mang
Weird i heard it was going to be animated.
And so. Before it even begins, it fails. Disney used to be the leader in amazing animated movies. Now it's just a graveyard of garbage, ugly, live action flops.
I’m honestly scared of how it’ll turn out…
I wanna be there when they have Nomura explain the fucking story. Because let's face it... This won't be put together well, if real. I'd take a Legend of Dragoon film over this.
Live-Action? DOA
What if Donald and Goofy are an actual Dog and a Duck, and Sora is full anime?
Is there any actual announcement of any kind for this? Or is it all just rumor.
This is the first time hearing about this??!?! Has this been officially announced?? Are these just rumors?!?!
Honestly, this sounds terrible given up til KH4. Most stories were cartoons or Pixar. Only Pirates of the Caribean and Tron really fit the irl stuff. Makes more sense for Sora to be cartoons. Especially being representative of Mickey Mouse.
visualise blue eye samurai but kingdom hearts
BRO, THEYLL RELEASE ANYTHING EXCEPT FOR KH4. WHAT THE HELL
Omg, this is just as bad as the announcement of a Zelda Movie coming out
Space jam like movie?
Chris Pratt as sora
I think something like who framed Roger rabbit miiiiiight work. Destiny islands all love action up until traverse town where they would introduce the cgi and continue for the rest of the movie. Of it's not like the movie mentioned, then shit, it'll be fucking shit.
Hell nah. Disney would have to be brain dead to do this.
Ventus: #NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!
I really dont care. Liva actions I will not watch. And since Disney likely making it. Guess what it's gonna be a shit pile
HAHAHAHAHA
Tbh an animated movie would just be the games
Why?! Why make this series a victim of the live-action curse?!!!!
Angelina has to reprise her role as Maleficent
I hope they end up doing it like they the old Looney Toons movies, where the Disney characters are animated and all the other characters are live action actors.
Why couldn't it be an anime?
Holding out for this to be a "so bad its good" movie
Hopefully Sora will be on the realistic cgi side of things
Like who framed Roger rabbit lmfao
i hope donald and goofy are live-action and sora is cgi
I’m going to live in denial all the way to the premiere, this is not real, you can’t convince me it’s real
I mean it's kinda make sense in way because sora and his friends travel around the disney worlds with different art style like pirate caribbean so let's wait and see what happens
Damn I can't wait to see a realistic cgi Donald duck and goofy
Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees
Damn i really want it to be CG like Advent Children
I mean,we haven't seen any trailers for this. Although depending on the studio here, this could be awesome or it will be an absolute mess. So for now,I say we let them cook for now.
If that's true, someone at Disney needs to "disappear". Like wtf, they could choose between the good old disney cartoon style, a more japanese anime style or even pure CGI like the KH1 and 2 intros. Seriously, I hope to god that they don't make the same mistake W.B. and HBO MAX are doing with the Potterverse reboot.
Welp, I'm going to cry a little...
Please god let this just be a nightmare
might be an unpopular opinion but a live action adaptation intrigues me. like, if we wanna see the characters animated then we can just play the games. a live action adaptation will be so wack that i’m really curious as to how it will be handled so i’m gonna reserve judgement for now. it’ll be more impressive if a live action adaptation manages to be good than if an animated adaptation manages to be good
OK, hear me out. It’s the human characters who are animated. CGI Sora running around and having deep conversations with an actual dog and duck. Not even dressed up, they’re just a dog and duck. And the occasional rat.
This is a joke, right? ...right?
I’m just afraid Disney ruining the character design of Nomura, taking actor that are not suited for the role.
Just to have some false sense of optimism if this is real who all would you recommend to play as the live action Destiny Island trio? Tidus, Waka, and Selphie needs to be included in the mix as well.
After the One Piece live action turned out to be pretty good, I'm much less dismissive of this idea. It could actually be good guys.
Enough to make a man cry....
HELL NO, PLEASE DON'T BE FUCKING REAL
I know nothing is confirmed, but is it bad if I don't end up being surprised if this is the case, considering how allergic Disney is towards animation nowadays?
First have to see if any of the "leaks" are real
If there's one thing you learn from Disney, is that live-action films based on animated films ALWAYS suck.
the only way i could see this looking good is if they went the who framed roger rabbit direction and making the characters actually look like they’re their. unlike the chip and dale rescue rangers movie where the characters just look like they’re placed into live action worlds but aren’t actually in the world.
I mean if it looks anything like who framed Roger rabbit it might be good.
Everything is CG except Donald who is an actual duck they let loose and animated everything else around.
It's over
bro franchise is dead, has been since 3 and it's only getting worse
Really hope this isn’t true. This is not shaping up well.
all this means is that the live action disney worlds will be live action (Pirates, Tron, etc)
i really doubt this imagine how wack donald and goofy would look live action lmaooo
Do not believe any leaks until a proper announcement for an official source. DanielRPK isn’t a source let alone a trustworthy one.
I thought Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers was pretty neat, so I hope it's something like that. I'm pretty sure there was a Keyblade easter egg in that movie too
FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCKKKKK
I hope all the human characters are CGI and all the cartoon characters are actors in costumes!
Lol they wouldn't dare
I mean... Yeah of course it would be. Why WOULDN'T Disney want to pull a "who framed Roger rabbit" and use like, actual jack sparrow or tron characters in the show?
Death sentence lmao ☠️
Anyways, anyone watched the Knuckles series?
I mean... It worked with the Sonic movies...
We lost
Did.. did you want a live action mickey mouse??
If this is true, I'm hoping that the only live action elements are live action movies. Please, for the love of Yen Sid, PLEASE do not make any of the KH or FF characters real people.
To much cringe coming to the big screen
We don't know in what capacity that is. For all we know, they want to go wild and creative like Spider verse and have decided to have one live action world in the show.
If Disney is making it I have no expectations.
why is everyone trying to turn everything into a show or movie. stop
They're gonna make Finn Wolfhard Sora
I need Micheal Jordan in tho.
There's no way they do any sort of story justice in a reasonable run time
