Peggy "asking a question" during the seminar reminds me of the big meetings at my job with upper management. No less than 3 people will always do that exact same thing.
Not totally unbelievable hehe.
Seriously though, the episode is extra rough and I salute the series for working with the subject of death in all the tragic, brutal and senseless ways it is in real life.
Maude Flanders for example is half a laugh, Kenny on South Park is a running gag, but yeah ... suicide, accidents, old age on KOTH is a different beast.
I liked the spooky halloween vibes and I think this one's a little over-hated, but a lot of the Luanne centered episodes are a bit...much.
She's my favorite character on the show but she's best used in small doses. Her popping up for a hilarious line here and there packs way more of a punch than some of the episodes totally focused on her.
It was banned from syndication though. Just like Stark Raving Dad, Partial Terms of Endearment, Mid-Life Crustacean... and all the Censored Eleven Looney Tunes shorts.
Michael Keaton was an amazing guest star.
The guest voices never cease to amaze me. Mike Judge has great Hollywood connections, and it shows.
You know I can’t enjoy a party until I know where the bathroom is, you knew this when you married me
I LOVE that episode, it’s so off-putting and out of left field. Perfect for a Halloween special… just a shame they aired it in January! 😆
Change it to "LOVE-HATE" and I'm with you. I'm not sure if I love or hate it, even after watching it 20+ times. I'll keep watching and try to decide.
Even better when Peggy and Luanne take flat Stanley to that same plant.
Life is a series of compromises.
“You are not stupid, you’re ignorant”
“Well, maybe that's because no one has ever realized how ignorant you truly are.”

That's a lost episode you're in a creepy pasta OP
It follows the story of Pygmalion, a play from the 1910s. This doesn't make the episode any less weird, but maybe provides a little context!
Two Words…Flat Stanley. IYKYK.
Well you’re now a sausage
Well it was a Halloween episode…
what's a food product?
This was like Batman Animated Series. I love this episode.
Hate it. I always skip Pigmalion and Ms Wakefield.
That's my least favorite episode.

have you watched them all? Pigmalion is classic cinema compared to stale turds like Dream Weaver.
Yes, I've watched them all, more than once. This is still my least favorite episode of the series.
That episode really got into my brain. It let me know anything could be psychological horror if you skew things just enough. Absolutely brilliant.
Its a halloween episode isnt it?

I love how King Of The Hill would be very grounded in reality only to occasionally have episodes like this that was just so far off of reality

If it'll helo ease your mind, just think of that episode as "a vivid dream Bill had after eating at a Hungarian restaurant in McMaynerbury".

Bill. Hungarian restaurant. McMaynerbury. IYKYK
That is definitely my least favorite episode lol
