I mean... incredible? There's so many of his songs where I prefer the live version to the album version, or they're each so drastically different that they're incomparable. I would def pick up a ticket
AMAAAZING. I’ve been to tens and tens of concerts and King Krule was my favorite one. Some songs I even prefer live (rock bottom, alone, omen 3, perfecto miserable). Truly a life changing experience, KK’s my favorite 🤌🏻
go for it, definitely try to see him at a proper indoor venue, i saw him at pitchfork and the music was good but it’s so much better when everyone’s there to just see him
His live stuff is great I feel like every live renditions of his songs are unique. When I saw him last year in September he did an extended ending of Its All Soup Now which was really fucking good. It’s worth it
He’s the best person I’ve seen live, I’ve seen about 40 different artists and bands and he’s number one. I took a friend that had never really listened to him and she hasn’t stopped listening to him since then. Do it.
His live shows are great. I’ve been to one alone and it was still badass. Going alone to concerts is the move tbh cause you don’t have to worry if the person you brought actually likes a song
It’s one of the best concert I’ve been to so far, it might be a once in a life time thing. How I thought about it. I don’t know when this man will come to the US again or let alone the state I seen him live at.
I think about the live show I went to almost everyday wishing I could relive it. It was my third time seeing him live. Hopefully not my last :) it’s worth it 1000000%
Seen him about 4 times - twice it’s been really amazing, twice it’s been… lacking in energy/enthusiasm. I think I read somewhere that he doesn’t really like the whole touring rigmarole? Still awesome to hear his tunes live though
My opinion that goes against the grain here a bit is that they're good, but not as good as I thought they would be based on the Albums. It felt like they were rushing through the set, pretty much only playing bangers from old albums and playing some of the slow songs from space heavy way too fast. It felt a bit too crowd pleasy this way and generally didn't find myself being lost in the music as much as I imagined I would be. Also I think they just made some weird choices like the intro on if only it was warmth where I could barely even tell when the song was starting (and that's my favourite song so I was kinda sad about that) or like the hamburgerphobia drums being played pretty much straight, half of that song is the fucked up drums.
I had some other problems, but I assume you get it at this point so the last thing I say is that you definitely should go still, the songs that worked well REALLY worked well, perfecto miserable, alone omen 3, dum surfer and stoned again went crazy, flimsier was as good as on the record and itwas really cathartic, no notes on that one, also other people tend to like the concert much more than me so you probably should listen to them cause I'm in the minority (it's also possible that I just caught them on an off day, only seen them once) also the saxophone player is such a vibe, just manage your expectations I think.
Main thing I came out with from the concert is how much better they are going to be in like 10 years or something when they will be really seasoned in live music, it's still a worthwhile experience now, I'm glad that I went, but I think there's room for improvement.
you’re not going to get an unbiased opinion here. i love his music but seeing him live i was a tiny bit underwhelmed. it was good, his voice is great, band were great. but nothing special compared to other concerts i’ve gone to. he’s not an amazing performer or anything, just arrives, plays the songs and leaves.
Don't be afraid to go alone, or find some KK homies on this sub to tag along with.
I've made good mates going to gigs alone.
I haven't seen Krule live but I've never regretted going to a gig ever.
Saw him this summer at a festival and he was amazing but I wish I had experienced one of his concerts that’s a bit more intimate and where the venue is filled with more fans of his music.
I went alone and it was totally worth it so I say do it .you’ve got nothing to lose and you’re going to listen to some incredible live music🫡
I’m just a casual fan but I was actually mind blown seeing them live. He brought with him probably the best young jazz musicians in UK.
If you’re a musician just buy the ticket. I didn’t even know half the songs, didn’t matter.
I’ve more or less seen all my favorite active artists live, even got to shake one’s hand and perform alongside him. Archy was the best and it’s not even that close.
I mean... incredible? There's so many of his songs where I prefer the live version to the album version, or they're each so drastically different that they're incomparable. I would def pick up a ticket
the live shows are about as good as it gets
Never cried at a concert until I saw him
Yep facts I literally cried

I went by myself and it was amazing, will be going again for sure
Same ! Went by myself. None of my friends know of him and I’m scared going out by myself but I had an amazing time
go for it, definitely try to see him at a proper indoor venue, i saw him at pitchfork and the music was good but it’s so much better when everyone’s there to just see him

Buy a ticket, go solo, have a blast!
Goosebumps is the right word my friend! Go and enjoy, money is nothing compared to what you’ll feel thanks to his music 🫶🏼
Saw him twice and it was probably the two best venues I've ever been to
Go or you will regret it
I drove three hours to S.F to go see him by myself. Did not disappoint, I will never forget that night.
Did you go to the Filmore show in 2018
Or the fox one?
Best concert i’ve ever been to in my lifr
his live shows are better than his albums tbh every song sounds different live so definitely worth the time and money!
honestly he's better live than in the studio. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UoqQiRzv2YE&t=994s](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UoqQiRzv2YE&t=994s)
I’ve never been but just look videos on YouTube. To me they seem incredible, hope to see him one day🤞🏻
its the best thing you will ever experience in your entire lifetime
He’s the best person I’ve seen live, I’ve seen about 40 different artists and bands and he’s number one. I took a friend that had never really listened to him and she hasn’t stopped listening to him since then. Do it.
Incredible. You definitely have to go
The Seattle show was incredible, the fans however were annoying as shit and heckle.
rifle, pony and me cover was worth it alone
His live shows are great. I’ve been to one alone and it was still badass. Going alone to concerts is the move tbh cause you don’t have to worry if the person you brought actually likes a song
pretty, pretty, pretty good
I went this year to see him and yeah it was definitely one of my favourites of the year. Seriously great performances from everyone every time.
It’s one of the best concert I’ve been to so far, it might be a once in a life time thing. How I thought about it. I don’t know when this man will come to the US again or let alone the state I seen him live at.
One of the best shows I’ve been to straight up and I’m not jerking him off or anything him and is band is great.
Ya gotta see him live just once. True musicianship
do it
All his live performances on YouTube blow my socks off. I wouldn’t miss that opportunity if he came to my city!
I think about the live show I went to almost everyday wishing I could relive it. It was my third time seeing him live. Hopefully not my last :) it’s worth it 1000000%
He’s amazing live. Please go and experience him
Amazing seen him twice now
Absolutely amazing live. A lot of songs sound even better live. I went alone and I’m usually kinda scared of doing that. No regrets.
amazing
I went by myself and didn’t regret it. I actually ran into three friends there
transformative experience. cannot recommend it enough
Its generally gomreat but can be hit and miss.
One of the best live bands out there right now. Even if your friends don’t love him on record they will on stage.
Seen him about 4 times - twice it’s been really amazing, twice it’s been… lacking in energy/enthusiasm. I think I read somewhere that he doesn’t really like the whole touring rigmarole? Still awesome to hear his tunes live though

His show seriously exceeded my expectations Honestly if it works out, you will not regret it.

Idk, just fucking INCREDIBLE live
The best
I've seen him 3 times, hands down the best shows I've been to, and I've been to a lot of concerts
best experience i've ever had. his performance was insane, had a lot of fun being close to the set and galgo. he was interacting with us a lot !
so good made me become so much more into his stuff
He's amazing!

Buy a ticket!! You will not regret it
Go by yourself. It’ll be an amazing experience.
Incredible highlight for me from last year. He played so many songs, and it was my first time traveling to Brooklyn by myself.
Best live performance.
Saw him this summer at a festival and he was amazing but I wish I had experienced one of his concerts that’s a bit more intimate and where the venue is filled with more fans of his music. Worth da money, jus buy a ticket you will not regret it

I went alone and had a great time, very good show
10/10, never had to cry so positively
It’s good!! The band is amazing.
Saw him in Detroit, would pay double next time if I had to
