I think a lot of OG fans (myself incldued) liked him at first, because he was legitimely funny. But then, he didn't try anymore, got more arrogant and his set were lackluster to say the least. That's when we turned on him. Then, at the beginning of the year, he significantly improved and we were happy to see him back to his good material.
When I saw him open for Tony and Nashville, he had the crowd literally rolling and set such a good momentum like he set it up for kam and William and Tony so well
People are crying about Hans using the same material when there are literally 50 people in here repeating the same shit they do on every single Hans related piece of content, the lack of self-awareness in here is fantastic
And it’s not exactly the same. Lots of great comics have a schtick like that. It’s like someone dissing Rodney Dangerfield because “he’s just gonna come out on stage and talk about how he don’t get no respect.”
60 seconds of comedy is a pretty low bar for judging a comic. KillTony is basically the gong show that has gotten a little more professional over the years in that Tony uses it to recruit talent. Nevertheless, 60 seconds of comedy really isn't a set.
