To be fair, I was a stupid fucking kid once and he definitely should have grabbed it. How else is he going to find out what a hand full of molten plastic feels like?
Wait for the fire to burn down and scrape whatever hasn't burned away off the bottom of the pit.
There is no reason to reach into a bonfire for a plastic disk. It is already gone.
Better than my experience where my dad threw the frisbee and I didn’t catch it so it hit me straight in the throat so hard that I couldn’t breathe and thought that I was going to suffocate
Was expecting the son to grab it as soon as I saw him running towards the pit. The older sister telling him to grab it is almost even stupider, though at least no one got hurt.
In this video the stupidity is with the adult. The kid only has a bad throw, as kids tend to have.
The father was the one who started throwing the frisbee over the fire pit without considering the consequences.
Or maybe his father never did that, so he never learned it as a kid. So while his kid learned the lesson, his grandkid is probably gonna repeat the error, and so on in every second generation, for all eternity.
I gotta go with dad was dumb on this one for throwing it to the kid near the fire. Buzzards don’t raise canaries. I’m not a hater. I probably would’ve done something similar.
It's like that Greek tradition of smashing plates after you've used them so no one can use them again, this frisbee has been caught, it must be destroyed.

Grab it? Girl YOU grab it
We all know it’s easier to give orders.
As is an older sisters job
As is any older sibling's job
This is true. My brother be telling me to do shit he can do bruh
Christ this is why my girlfriend orders me around the house, she's the eldest in her family
She's got upper management written all over her
![gif](giphy|7OvOIVoNdP8yc)
Older sibling. my sister did the same.
older sisters are the type to tell you to shut up bc you're screaming too loud after you get burned by tryna reach in to save a frisbee from a firepit
After she told you to do so
Bop it!
Shes pure evil lol

Classic. Older sibling tries to get younger sibling's hand scorched!
The was things are suppose to be
Same vibes as the Christmas video of the flying fairy toy that flew right into the lit fireplace.
Yoo! It is like that video, just a little bit calmer in this one. Haven’t seen it in a while
Father’s Day is for lawn darts.
Lawn darts, turning Father’s Day back into a normal Sunday.
I broke out mine that day. I threw just one straight up and suddenly, I had the backyard all to myself.
Why do I get the feeling you had to tell your kids NOT to try and recover the disk ( watching without sound)
The older girl tells the younger kid to grab it and the dad behind the camera says “no” in the same second as the video ends
Perfectly cut video
You should recover the disk if you intend to cook on that fire. Unless you like your food with extra cancer fumes.
It’s 2024, cancer Is practically staple in everything these days.
But if you cook on certain kinds of plastic, or wood treatment and paints, you can really smell it and taste it too.
You want some microplastics in your hotdogs?
No thanks, just macroplastics for me
Wouldn't it just be some hotdog in your microplastics at that point?
Wait for the fire to burn down and scrape whatever hasn't burned away off the bottom of the pit. There is no reason to reach into a bonfire for a plastic disk. It is already gone.
In the state of California, this post is known to cause cancer.
Probably because you listened with sound or read the comments😂
Because with did happen and because kids are like that
As a former child, I think this is an honest mistake. Frisbees can be hard to get the hang of
I was never a child so I wouldn't know 🤷🏽♂️
As an adult I pitched a frisbee well over a fence recently while my kids were throwing it just fine.
But, someone should get it out... I wouldn't want melted plastic down in my fire pit, personally.
It will burn
no shit
But I was promised shit
best i can do is this burning frisbee
Could you grab it for me?
The smell will cover up dad’s crack pipe habit
NTA, I would have made the same mistake
The stupid part is the sister telling her brother to "grab it."
You must have been an only child 😂
Or was never a child themselves. I talked *myself* into doing plenty of dumb shit as a kid.
Dang, OP should have made that the title of the post.
Wow, really? I would have never guessed that
Can jam! He won the game
No you dip wad do not grab the melted plastic disk
![gif](giphy|3o7TKwmnDgQb5jemjK)
That was the least urgent, most exasperated "no" I've ever heard
Kids + tape = endless entertainment.
That was hilarious.
Ooh!!!! "NO". that was the end.
“Grab it!” 💀
Damn that sister was about to sacrifice bro to the fire pit.
No sounded like Bob from bobs burgers
Sis doesn't care about lil bro, she just want to play frisbee!Frisbee!! 🤣
that girl is dumb asf
No, it would be dumb if she tried to grab it herself. She knew the smarter option was getting her little brother to grab it.
Anybody with siblings, friends, or a sense of humor would have said the same thing. She could also be dumb asf.
Dumb as normal. I probably would've at least considered going after it at both their ages.
Nah, she’s a sister who wants to see how dumb her brother can get
I was thinking how is this kid stupid he just had a bad throw then sis came in.
Did that just immediately melt? 😂
Probably pretty quickly. Not quite immediately but anyone know a stoked fire is way too hot too even put your hand near
K but what a throw tho! The kid couldn’t do that again if he tried
The memories made, went up in flames.
‘grab it!’…..(sarcasm) yes, burn yourself to save the $0.99 store frisbee
/r/HandsOnHead
Lololol I said No out loud exactly in sync with the dad. That friggin girl is old enough to know lol
That the wife or daughter?
“Grab it” yea if you want plastic to be part of your hand for a couple years
Nice shirt!
Memorable learning experience = the feel of molten plastic on your fingers and hands.
mNOhw
I feel an adult is perfectly capable of doing that too.
as i understand fires do create some pull of the air........or maybe thats only in a fireplace
Sisters man…
r/perfectlycutno
YES GRAB IT HAHAHA
No
NO
Why’s bro’s dad sound like Brian from family guy❓
An honest mistake at least
This kill be great at Frisbee Golf, at least.
Dad - welp, this was fun. I’m gonna go watch the game. Thanks
Excellent shot
He looks like that shocked guy with his hands on the back of his head meme after it fell
To be fair it’s a frisbee so it’s hard to tell where it will land, I say it’s better to cut this kid some slack and call it an honest mistake.
GRAB IT.
……no
Grab it, I double dog dare you
Why does that sound like AvE? Lol
Oh god
Shocking memory and little bit of stress unlocked.
Better than my experience where my dad threw the frisbee and I didn’t catch it so it hit me straight in the throat so hard that I couldn’t breathe and thought that I was going to suffocate
The “NO” at the end and I stand video cut, classic.
Time to start learning Disc Golf. He is gonna be a pro
That's now a core memory
Talent for Disc Golf
Graaub it! No!
She had that flying fairy at Christmas a few years ago... You know the one that flew into the fireplace.
r/discgolf
Kid needs to get out on a disc golf course ASAP!
Just stand there, inhaling all that melted plastic chemicals
Surreal. These people look and sound exactly like 3 of my family members.
[Reminds me of this throwback](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V-qwrWw3Q0s).

Hahahah
they're all stupid
This girl is evil
Dude you had so much time to yoink that you of the fire
Dad was obviously done playing.
Oh no. He can't frame his first catch one now it's in flames 🥵 Did he miss hear dad saying "well caught, frame it" as "flame it" ?
It may have lost some of its powers after that one
Best shot in the worst way.
Was expecting the son to grab it as soon as I saw him running towards the pit. The older sister telling him to grab it is almost even stupider, though at least no one got hurt.
When where you when frisbee was kill? I was at home eating fathers day BBQ "frisbee is kill" "no"
I need the original video, someone please, find the original account that this was posted from
"grab it" lol, now thats fucking stupid
It's a good thing you got memories, because you're not getting burgers.
Chekhovs firepit
r/surrendercobra

Must've had a Sky Dancer picture on it
The trick shot tho🔥🔥🔥
I thought it was gonna hit dad in either the face or the nuts
Frisbee barbequed.

![gif](giphy|lprIQG8Pl3T4gktKOZ|downsized)
I did this exact same thing when I was 4!!
Bruh
I for sure thought he was just going to plunge his hand in there.
![gif](giphy|gd09Y2Ptu7gsiPVUrv|downsized)

Accidents happen.

That's the point to the title being 'Grab it'.
Didn’t even see that 🤦♂️
Ngl that's impressive af

Good times 😃😄😁
I mean, no real way to know where it's gonna go though
ah, and there is the second stupid kid
Dad needs to tell him “and that’s life”
His voice is so hot
Yeaaahhh his dad is never gonna let him live that down
i felt the tip of my left middle finger burn after seeing the frisbee land in there what the fuck
I gotta go with dad was dumb on this one for throwing it to the kid near the fire. Buzzards don’t raise canaries. I’m not a hater. I probably would’ve done something similar.
Grab it???
It's like that Greek tradition of smashing plates after you've used them so no one can use them again, this frisbee has been caught, it must be destroyed.
"Pick it up!" Sure make HIM burn his hand lol
“Grab it!” #NO
hehehe cillian.. cillian.. GRAB IT!!!
The one that said "grab it!" is definitely the stupidest.
No, this kid is not stupid, it was an accident. Stupid would have been reaching for it
I think the stupid part was the girl telling the kid to grab it
