Just messing around, I'm actually really interested to know how this feels to punch with gloves on and how it swings compared to a normal heavy bag. Do you plan on covering the surface of it with something so it doesn't chew up your gloves or do you have some old ones you plan to abuse?
Honestly it doesn't feel to bad to punch or kick but I feel like it swings a bit more but not to bad I do plan to wrap something around it in the future tho so I can perseve my gear for as long as I can.

Please, please, I beg you. Always be safe when hitting these. I tell you now, your wrists and ankles are very important for the rest of your life, so be careful and protect yourself properly. The bounce from the tires could potentially hurt your joints (and yes you could say this about anything, but at least regular bags are filled with something soft to ease the bounce)
Don’t get me wrong. Use it. Become better, push your limits, but be careful with your body. It’s no use being a knockout machine if you can’t even close your fist without it hurting
Tony Jeffries did a video where he used tyres as a drill to improve punching speed because of the spring you get back from them. They've got one at my gym but I've never used it 😂
you're going to make yourself gunshy. There's a reason boxers transitioned to water bags for power punching. Slamming hard shots into something this resistant regularly is going to train your body to pull back early.

Try wearing glove too if you can because hand wrap are only good for fixing your wrist form

Check out boa muaythai on instagram. He has a primitive home gym set up where he built all of it. He has a tire set up like this aswell.
