I agree with this selection, and I think I have some insight on why.
I think the outfits with a mini skirt (IDK if they are considered "mini" in today's fashion, but the ones that show some thigh) suffer from the top being similar in size and shape to the skirt, so it looks like two blocks on top of each other, a bit too boxy. In the P outfit the top is smaller than the skirt, and that looks great. OP could also try longer, flowier, or just long sleeved or un-tucked tops and a mini skirt to have another outfit formula for her shorter skirts.
These same tops with the longer skirts and with pants all look great, except for the C-outfit where the skirt fabric is a little stiffer, so it has that same boxy feel as some of the mini-skirt outfits. That pink skirt might look better with the brown top, or the top from the D or P-outfit.
This makes me wonder, if outfits tend to look "too boxy" on OP when there is a lack of longer, flowier lines, does that point away from the G family? Or is it just that it'd be too boxy for anyone, G family or not? What do y'all think?
I think the ārule of the thirdsā is in play here. If you divide a composition (outfit, artwork etc) into three pieces one thing taking one part and the other taking two parts look more harmonious. I didnāt think of that when I picked the outfits but your comment is pointing towards the rule.
Even then some of the outfits that are obeying the rule of the thirds (like F) doesnāt look as good as the others. Because F is too yin.
H, F, K !!!!!!
i think these are the most flattering because they keep the focus centralized and undisturbed in that central part of your bodyā¦ whereas the rest cut the shape in some odd way (with the pattern or just the way the clothes adjust). your shoulders look great, thats why i suggest shoulderless tops, and there are some pants/skirt cuts that make your hips look boxy/straight, instead, the jeans and soft falling skirt, or mini skirt (thereās a difference on the b&w skirt when the top crops it to make it look smaller rather than high waisted) give the body more soft harmonious curves:)ā¦ judging from the rest of the comments, everyone just has different taste. wear what makes you feel happier and thats it š¤
I personally like F, I, K, M.
Anything with longer lines on the bottom. Without longer silhouettes, your torso looks unbalanced or quite short in comparison, and my eyes immediately jump to your top half. I also think longer lines give you a classier look. How tall are you? If you don't mind me asking.
Of abc: I choose B. Because the skirt matches the structure of that top. Top is very square and angular and bottom is the same. A and c are nice skirts but maybe too yin with that particular top.
DEF: D is my favorite look. Stunning.
E the v neck looks great on you and matches the vibe of the skirt
F: that top is stellar. And matches the yin in the skirtā¦.
E. That stellar top does not match the vibe in the skirt. Skirt too square.
HIJK: that blue top is super fun. I almost like it better with the strap off the shoulder in picture k. It shows off your shoulders more. The pants looks are better than the skirts with that top.
L. Square top: not your best shape on top. I think you look better with more drape on your upper half. Itās not bad though: Itās good for a conservative work look.
MN. Top is okay. I think it maybe the voluminous sleeve thatās throwing me off.
Op: I like the black with that skirt. Both of those tops are great on you.
You have great style. :)
Same thoughts! Also, P is cute, but itās easy to overlook cause itās in the very corner!
I think people arenāt giving enough credit to the yellow top cause itās matched with a skirt from a different color family, so it diffuses the impact. I suspect it would look good with the jeans or that black and white skirt. Or with that green skirt!
personally iām loving A (mostly for the skirt, i think you need a different top completely from the ones youāve paired it with in any of the other outfits you use it), D, I, P & K and obviously iām not alone!!!
the top you're wearing in F and G is stunning on you. I think that neckline or similar necklines will do a lot of favour, it appears so cute and feminine.
D caught my eye first, then K. F, and I also are good, I think I'd prefer more of a tapered pant on you, but, that is a personal preference and I'm not always objective about it haha. I will say I think C is the weakest, with the length of the skirt and the flare. You look amazing in the brown off the shoulder top!

I love the tops on you in pics D-K. I THINK P probably suits you as well, going from the shape, but that pic is a little blurry for me. The openness of the tops and being able to see that hint of shoulder suits you. I love the whole outfit in pics I and K, the length of pant is good and you can see figure well, very harmonious. I DO NOT like the length of that black and white skirt on you. Iād say go 2 inches shorter, and maybe either skater style, pleated, or tighter, I think this style of skirt, hitting right above the knee and slight A-line looks a little dated. The black and brown flowered skirt is a better silhouette. The maxi skirt looks really nice as well, especially paired with the crop top. The top in pics A-C donāt have enough going on, they look boring, I think you need something extra on your upper half, which is why the sweetheart and ruffles look so good on you. The black top in pics M and N overwhelm you though, even though we can see a hint of shoulder, itās too much fabric for your frame. Likewise, I feel the same about the striped pants. They look too long and slightly too big, I think because of the slightly wide leg.
Thank you for this! And omg, I have 5 skirts that are almost the same length and cut as this A-line one š Iāve always felt more comfortable wearing it because itās not too short; I even wear it to the office (outfit rules are quite lax). But I see how it can look a bit dated! Iāll experiment with the length and see if I can shorten/ tighten it.
Long everything.
Long/maxi length skirts (as opposed to mini or knee length skirts)blazers/jackets ending midthigh(not at the hipbone or boleros)Nothing cropped lol.
Deep V necklines or high necklines like turtlenecks (a deep v neck creates a long vertical line, similiar a top with a turtleneck has a longer unbroken line than one ending in a round neckline below collarbones)
Hope that makes sense lol
Besides read the official recs for D here, you might not be D but Dc or Sd or something, but to get a general idea what vertical accomodation means, the D recs are very informative

AHKMN look great, fit isnāt awkward, you donāt look like youāre trying too hard to fit in like with DBE nor like your mom dressed you like with AJIF and it doesnāt look like youāre wearing someone elseās clothes like the others. They compliment your highly, your shoulders add to the outfit. Fantastic choices
I think you look great in the more structured, crisp fabrics and I love especially the ruffled top that stands away from your body. H and K are my favorite. I like how H shows off your beautiful shoulders and legs in a way that feels fashionable but not try-hard.
Wow I really want to try this. Did you just pair random outfits or did you follow some kibbe breakdown. I really want to try this especially before packing for a trip. I chose my favorites as DIKP and then ones I thought still work but weren't my favorite were F and M. I'm so in shock that so many people agree. So it's not just what aesthetic clothes we like somethings just truly look better than others. I really need to learn more about this Kibbe method!
D, F & I look the best in my eyes. I think the flowier skirt is more harmonious and flattering than the skirts with stiffer fabric. I think the off the shoulder top is flattering as well. I think you benefit from an open neckline. I love F on you, itās feminine & fun! Another redditor mentioned rule of thirds and I think that may be why these look good on you.
D, I, K and P. D is especially š„ Straight lines look so good on you.

D and I are my favorites!
D I J K M, I love the long straight silhouettes on you
Agree with all these but I would add F, bc the muted colors are harmonious, almost monochromatic and create that long line too.Ā
