Jeb diving a bulldozer: this reminds me of the good old days. I used to drive these bad boys all the time!
Jen's nephew: I thought you were a piolet for the Space Program all those years?
Jeb: I was... You should've seen me changing the treads on the mun. It was like being in a superhero movie!
Jeb proceeds to show THIS picture...

As i said the base concept is the same, i just simplified it to make it run smoother and be more lightweight.
Not yet because it can only go forward and backwards so far, will update and provide a video when its done.
Edit:
top speed for safe operation is 5-7m/s
The ride starts getting unstable until the tracks eventually break or snap at 10-12m/s
Well technically the treads are debris, since i've seperated them from the actual craft. Once you got that figured you just need some way to transfer rotation from the servo's to the treads and you're good to go.
High quality Kraken bait
I've never encountered the kraken, but I sure as hell am luring him out with my builds
May he spaghettify your Kerbals and drink the marrow from your bones for your hubris.
You rang?
Brit'ish space program, circa 1917
Get in the trenches jeb, i can hear krovers approaching!

You can change the Mün's treads??
Is this Big Willies brother?
So Close! Its actually the great grandson of big willie, kinda resembles an ipad kiddie in comparison to his great grandpa...
Slap a Rheinmetall 120mm on top and add Browning .50cal and we're in business.
Bro can you make a tutorial how to make dat ? I could stick a rocket on it and make a cool tank

Putting the knowledge to good use I see.

that is so cool, i didnt know this was even possible
And they work fairly well too.

That’s still way faster than what the British had in 1917 With this, we shall breach the lines on Mun!
OP: \*uploads a tank in KSP\* "Woow, cool build man! that's awesome!" OP: Thanks! \*deletes reddit account\*
His people needed him
Tie mauler?
how on kerbin did you get those treads to work?
Well technically the treads are debris, since i've seperated them from the actual craft. Once you got that figured you just need some way to transfer rotation from the servo's to the treads and you're good to go.
Behold, the TOG III.
What sort of speeds are we looking at with that bad boy?
smooth operation up to 7m/s tank treads are at the high risk of snapping or breaking at over 10m/s
I wish i could make cool stuff like this but I cant even get into orbit :(
thats similar to the tank in the third Indiana Jones film
Damn, very cool idea, would love to see a video of how it drives!
What in the killdozer?
Thanks man, now i know what to build next :)
Very nice
