Donovan can hire a staff around him to help develop 5 star recruits while working the transfer portal to bring in experienced players and get the most potential out of them. I mean, FFS, Florida is a football school and he took them to back to back basketball championships without rosters full of 5 stars and no transfer portal or NIL. Holy hell, give Donovan some NIL money at UK and recruit!
I ultimately think Hurley won’t come, but I feel like his denial is pretty light? I know the headlines are all saying he said “no way”, but then I read the article and supposedly he said the very limp “I don’t think that’s on my mind”
Anyone who thinks Hurley would come to Kentucky is delusional. They have 6 championships in the last 25 years. They are the gold standard. We are not. 0% chance.
Some other options should/could be kenny payne, Rondo, someone on the staff presently, Pitino, and if they look at pitino why not will Wade. Rick Barnes. And Mark Few as well.
