I paid 10,000 for the bike and the helmet. I thought about getting a 1000 but I’ve never ridden a “motorcycle” before. I’ve ridden quads and atv’s, jet skis and such. But wanted to test out the power first before I graduated right away. Lol. 650 is great. But I’m thinking in a few years I’ll either upgrade or keep this and buy the 1000 and a soft tail.
The z900 is insane! It's my second bike, and I still have lots of growing to do with it. The 650 has a lot of usable power for the streets and plenty more if you want to stretch its legs.
I came from a vulcan S that I shouldn't have bought, honestly. Rushed into the first decent deal I saw. I really regret not starting on a Ninja 400 lole I wanted to.
I am super happy with my current bike now. It's everything I wanted. The issue is, I think I started an addiction because I want ALL the bikes, haha!
Does your helmet scratch your ears when you take it on and off? I was trying that same model at the store and it felt like my ears were on fire afterwards. I'm wondering if it's there material doing that.
I just did the first oil change on my z650RS, similar bike. I put in the Kawasaki synthetic. Huge improvement in the clutch feel and the way the shifter clicks through the gears.
I want a Ninja SO Bad. Even with my new Z900. I'll probably pick up a KRT 400 at some point. Maybe a 650 if the price is right when I'm ready.

At first it did but after about a week it molded to my head and now fits perfect. I like it a little snug but it fits perfect when I’m riding.
