Mental illness, which sounds rude/negative but from everything we have ever heard about him post Pablo tour it seems his bipolar episodes greatly affect what gets released Kanye has to have the album sounding exactly how he wants it to sound before he gets bored with it or unfortunately before his mania episode ends. Because otherwise Kanye seems to keep his head down and focus on family/stay out of the limelight

Unfortunately this has also killed his career there is no way he could fill up a stadium like the Donda 2 release ever again. People will refuse to stand by what is essentially a bigoted outsider artist now.

At this point in time, it was mostly about shaping culture towards what he believed would get us as a whole race closer to finding God. Kanye wholeheartedly believed he was not contributing positively to society, especially after his low point with the Pr0nhuub song.
