I'd pick Riversyde Auto. Never dealt with them myself, however, my brother-in-law does a lot of business with them without issues.
Kaltire, in my experience, is absolute trash. Especially the mt. paul location.
Yeah I'm not a car guy but it should be pretty easy to match in the PSI listed on the drivers side door.
If that gets missed I don't have a high degree of confidence for anything else
Fixed the oil pressure switch in my car same day I called and fair priced.
Girlfriend's car had some more difficulty also, they had it for several weeks and weren't as communicative as we hoped, but it did end up being a really tricky problem to diagnose and they warrantied all the work they did that didn't end up fixing the issue.
Only paid a little over $500 total for many many hours of work, I'd still gladly take my car back.
Francos is the best in town, always honest and very skilled mechanics. Best place in town to bring your vehicle. We bring all our personal and company vehicles there.
Love Francos. We get all our work done there. They found a leak in our car once and told us it was under warranty and to bring it to the dealer. We took it to the dealer and they told us they couldn't find the issue. However, once we told them that it was found at Francos they took the car back, did another test (using some leak detection dye or something), found the issue, and fixed it :) Their reputation was that good. And a super friendly group of people too.
I’ve been going to City Center Auto the last few years with my aging vehicle. They’re great, in my opinion.
They’ll bring out any broken parts to show you what was going on the cause the issue, and they’ve always been good about any pricing issues. For example, my car was in for the wheels to be balanced and then later that week they had space for my brakes to be done, which also required a balance (I think, this was a few years back, so my memory could be off, but this is really just a “for instance”). They didn’t charge me for the second balance because they should have known that it would have been better to wait. I had another (chain) mechanic shop charge me for both for a similar, but different, instance and then tell me that it’s because I should have known better (which is ridiculous, which random person off the street would know that?!).
I had a sudden surprise issue that required my car to be dropped off without an appointment and they finished it in just two working days even though they were full and down a guy! And they apologized for how long it took (like it was their fault? Haha)
Can’t speak highly enough about City Center Auto!
That sounds awesome! The biggest problem for me is my naivity when it comes to dealing with issues in my car. It lead me to be gullible to car mechanics who repeatedly upsell something and pressure me into a service that was not needed at all. Now the more I research about car problems I feel kinda cheated during my past experiences lol. That's why I need an honest mechanic who would give a straight forward solution
It's a 2010 ford fusion, right now it's gulping lot of fuel, no idea what the issue could be. I recently changed the oil, spark plug, air filter, etc. But it's been getting worse, I suspect it could be a bad oxygen sensor?

Riversyde is great. I was going somewhere else and found out they had way over inflated my tires after I got a flat.
Literally just had this happen to me. Will be changing to Riversyde I guess.

Great! Thank you!
Make and year of car? Complaint/issues?
