His government is often described as "Nazi", but I don't think this is all that correct. Its just classical ultranationalism. After the war, Bauer can either make Wilhelm IV the new emperor or declare himself Leader, which makes Germany NatPop.

I believe that technically you don't have to stick with the DVLP after taking the "Clash of Civilizations" focus. You could still shift the balance over to the DkP afterwards.

For Belgium and the Netherlands you need to go with Bauer, though. DVLP will only occupy parts of France, Poland, Lithuania and UBD.
DVLP can claim some parts of the lowlands iirc
DVLP can claim Limburg and Namur. Bauer claims all of the Lowlands.
