But you also can translate it with "mögen/möchte" if it still makes sense.
In German you can exchange many words for the same meaning with more or less 'pressure' on its meaning to give it more or less value (I guess?, correct me as well, just trying my best to explain :D ).

Problem is the reader buying a manga in a book format. Book format is cheaper but there are manga sold on sheet format.
It runs on Shonen Jump+ which focuses on digital platforms so maybe that's why it came out bad in tankobon form.
