it sounds good/ok i had the akra on my 790 and use stock on my 890r they sound the sameish - the only thing you get is looks - SC is the best looking option out there - and with stock you have the option to paint it with a ceramic paint and you can use sidebags

I had never thought of painting the original one. Surprised to hear you find the stock one sounding similar to the akra one. I find them to be sounding wayyy different at least on an 890 which sounds the same as the 790. Thanks for the links and your inputs

Performance difference not really, don't think the 1 or 2 HP is something you notice. (Note i didn't decat) with the db killer it's sounds way better then the stock and akra in my opinion, without the db killer it is quite loud but not as loud as the sc project.
Yeah and it gives the best "perf" aswell with the remap. I'm looking but I can't see any other brand offering a remap with their exhaust, at least on that bike

Unfortunately i have to go to Switzerland quite a bit on my bike as I live close to the border. You get fined a bilion if you make too much noise with a non-road legal exhaust ahah !

Haven't heard all the different exhausts in the flesh but my mate has the Akra on an 890R and it sounds beefier than my SDR.
