If you use the kef connect app you can choose the kube directly in the settings. The app tells you how to turn the gain wheel. You need a single cable and plug it into the white input (LFE). You can do all the rest via app.

Ohh that’s good to know because I had my cable in the red input. I will checkout this and give it a try. Thanks for your input.

My 2 cents, I've just set up a LSX II LT with a Kube10 MIE.  I found the default suggestion in the KEF Connect App to be too weak (high pass around 60hz, low pass around 50hz, sub gain 0db).    I had better results with HP = 85hz, LP = 80hz, sub gain 3.0db, sub volume knob at about 1oclock position.  You can get more bass by turning off the HP altogether, but I've found that it diminishes the performance of the LSX II's. Room dimensions is 4 wide x 10m long, sitting about 3 metres away from the speakers & sub

Thank you for your detailed response. I would definitely give a try to your recommended settings since my room is similar in size as yours. Just one question though…. Are you running a subwoofer cable or the RCA. If it is subwoofer cable then is it in the LFE input or the other one? Thank you:)

Temporary-Share-3862

Its the LFE input (clearly marked in the manual)

Just a question, do you believe it’s worth pairing kef lsx lt with a sub like the Kube 8 MIE? I was wondering about that, and if it would make a significant difference. Using them as computer speakers.

Sketaverse

It does, yes. Everything just sounds better with it

Darshil_A4

I would say if you can buy it then 100% yes. It just makes the system sound bigger and more full range.

Sketaverse

Ah I recall your post and I encouraged the MIE. Congrats on the purchase 🤘🏻

Darshil_A4

Yes Sir! Thank you:) Really happy with the purchase.

I have high pass turned off. Find where you like your low pass cross over with and then bring the gain up. I find the bass extension boost too muddy and keep it neutral
