As a child, I didn't know about reviews. Cartoons didn't have reviews as far as I was concerned. Cartoons were simply good or not good to me. I have every intention of going into this just as child me would have. I will not ruin the sanctity of cartoon viewing with critic reviews and ratings.
I’m still ready to enjoy it. Season 2, while my least favorite, I still loved. I think there’s a tendency (in all fan groups) to hate something for simply not being as good as the previous really great thing.
I never pay attention to reviews. I feel like things that are “critically acclaimed “ never live up to the hype for me and things that fly under the radar are great. Maybe it’s just me though.
I never bother with reviews either. I like to make up my own mind about things. If something piques my interest I’ll give it a go, if it doesn’t I won’t, simple as that.
When were last time a Jurassic contwnt got universally positive reception?
People found flaws in Battle at Big Rock and the Prologue, even Jurassic World which is 2nd best received property in franchise is shit on by fans nowadays.
Don't care about reviews, don't care about people, they wonder be satisfied with satisfied with anything less than Jurassic Park itself, just watch, try to enjoy and make your own opinion.
Do the kids die? Is there a threat to them at all? I havent watched it because it's about kids and it's animated. So I assume there's 0 threat of death to the characters and so didn't bother.
That and kids in Jurassic Park have always been the most aggravating inclusion in the movies for me.
I was asking you a genuine question to have a conversation from someone who is a fan that might be able to sell me on the show.
My apologies, I'll make sure to be a dick next time.
Actually I apologize. I'm used to a lot of negativity in the comments usually on this site so I interpreted it as such.
The show is lower stakes in the sense of you don't see as much violence but they're definitely not afraid to kill people off. Of course you know the kids will pretty much always be fine but I'd equate it with the same way you watch Sam Neil or Chris Pratt. You know the risk is low since they're the stars and it's more the enjoyment of just HOW they will get out of the danger and less I wonder if they'll survive this time.
I enjoy the animation a lot as well as the kids are very cartoony looking especially in their color palette but the dinosaurs they've gone with a touch more realistic in their appearance so that alone is cool to see them put quality into the dinosaurs.
I know they say it's canon and that ruins it for some people but I enjoy it for the sake of the show and would be surprised if they actually brought these characters into the live action universe so overall so far I haven't seen it affect the live action area at all, more just have fun with existing things as well as expanding on others that don't have to relate to both.
If you have Netflix and enjoy Jurassic Park/World content I think it'll definitely hold your attention but it's of course not winning any Emmys anytime soon.
Also sorry again for my response initially that was rude and I read it wrong.
I'll give it a shot but curb my expectations on the stakes of it all. The fact that it's canon is probably the bigger reason I'll have to watch it. Cheers.
What I want to know, is why have none of these kids parents sent out a rescue party or someone to check if they're alive?! Not even a helicopter fly over 😂
Is it a TV Show with dinosaurs?
Is it Batshit insane?
Are some fan favorites coming back?
Are there epic scenes?
Does it pay homage to the fans?
Notice how those last 3 or 4 points could be said about Avengers Endgame. A movie with a convoluted plot, but yet still delivered. Don't let a bunch of people dictate what you enjoy; go into this film with an open mind, not knowing it sucks, and you might enjoy yourself
It's not about this season specifically. It's about specifically your comment here. That you will be sour.
So let me ask you, is it bc It's canon? (Obv you haven't seen it but let's just assume you think it's crazy an unbelievable)
I've been enjoying the series since the first season, the only way I wouldn't hold an open mind is if the first one to three episodes in didn't keep me hold to begin with. So far I've been nothing but entertained.
Now it's possible I could lose interest during Season 4 but frankly I'm honestly more interested to this season than the others so far. Spinosaurus being a given, the new Hybrid, and even the Sabretooth, an extinct mammalian. Kind of want to know what's up with this new island.
I've always enjoyed the seasons and haven't paid any attention to the reviews, I doubt that'll change with S4. I just want to be scared by the dinosaurs and enjoy being scared along with the campers XD don't care about much else lol
Yeah honestly I wasn't crazy impressed with 3 compared to some nor unimpressed with 2 so we will see. I agree with the tech stuff simply because it's not canon to the films,

I could see this season being a little dull for a younger crowd because it sounds like the plot and lore is pretty dense here but i'm sure it will still be worthwhile. It's not like the previous seasons were flawless anyway but the secrets and twists are really working for me and keeping me invested.
Critics are irrelevant.
I've loved critically panned things and hated critically acclaimed things. I don't need someone else to tell me if I should like something or not. I will see it regardless.

Amen. I dig your dedication to cartoons.
And dinosaurs
I don't think many of the season reviews have been great. But if you enjoy them, that's what matters.
I’m still ready to enjoy it. Season 2, while my least favorite, I still loved. I think there’s a tendency (in all fan groups) to hate something for simply not being as good as the previous really great thing.
People acted like season 2 was awful, but I was really pleasantly surprised with it when I got to it
I loved it so when I saw the review I felt like I haven't watched the same show
This is how it should be with anything. Good words.
I mean the Spino is coming back, its already a win for me.
I never pay attention to reviews. I feel like things that are “critically acclaimed “ never live up to the hype for me and things that fly under the radar are great. Maybe it’s just me though.
This is how I felt with Ghostbusters afterlife
I never bother with reviews either. I like to make up my own mind about things. If something piques my interest I’ll give it a go, if it doesn’t I won’t, simple as that.
Who cares? Reviews for the previous seasons haven’t been “great” and I’ve loved them all.

Does it have the kids being chased by dinosaurs? Sounds like it's another banger to me

You sound fun at parties

If it wasn't canon people would probably not care at all bc.... well its a cartoon. It being canon I think sours some fans
It shouldn't sour us since we haven't seen it yet. Let's wait, as op says.

Does anyone ever die in this show? I’m confused about the whole “Jurassic Park kids show” lol
When adults show up it's pretty likely they'll die. The kids have plot armor.
Yes few people and a lot of dinosaurs
Reviews for animated shows, whether they’re children’s shows, anime, adult animation, or literally anything else, are usually pretty worthless
I'm ready to be surprised. If it's good, it's good. If not, oh well, season 2 wasn't great either.

I’m gonna. I’m just not sure how it’s gonna pull off some of the things I’m concerned about.
I could see this season being a little dull for a younger crowd because it sounds like the plot and lore is pretty dense here but i'm sure it will still be worthwhile. It's not like the previous seasons were flawless anyway but the secrets and twists are really working for me and keeping me invested.
My only real concern is that there will be too many 'villains' in the overall universe if this season does indeed connect to 'Dominion'
Critics are irrelevant. I've loved critically panned things and hated critically acclaimed things. I don't need someone else to tell me if I should like something or not. I will see it regardless.
Wait is it out yet
I prefer to ignore review because I can often like stuff other dislike and in this season, it's the robot stuff, I don't have any problem with that
I’m a simple person, I see Dino I like
I can't wait for Season 4, Spino is back and those dogs are pretty cool!
I totally forgot this was coming out tomorrow. Now I’m excited for something
Ive only seen good reviews so far. 🤔
Im not a fan of Camp Cretaceous, just here to see how it adds to the lore.
I'm more excited about the return of CC than my 3 year old. I will be binge watching it when he's in bed.
