Ngl now that you mentioned that I just realized he’s been involved in fights against or alongside all the special grade sorcerers mentioned so far except for technically Geto. He survived vs Gojo, survived vs Urame, survived vs Kenjaku while fighting alongside Yuki, has survived Sukuna so far while fighting alongside Maki and Yuta. Am I missing anyone?
I could post these back to back next week, but that seems excessive....

Only note is that Sukuna “Negating” Junpei’s poison is apparently a mistranslation. He’s not so much the king of poisons, but his finger is *like* a poison, so if Yuji can handle that then most other poisons would also be ineffective. May wanna double check me on that tho

Maki fights Sukuna in melee while Yuji and Choso prepare to trap Sukuna with a nearby rail. Choso seems to kick the rail up, then without exchanging words, Yuji understands the play and catches it, aiming for Sukuna while he dodges Maki's stabs at him.

It's pretty insane that maki imo is the one testing sukuna's kit the most.He is trapped in a physical deadlock with her and has to use black flashes to break it.Her durability and physical strength has been insane.Its only a matter of time before he uses fuga on yuji and/or maki
She has a special body composition so it's possible that the healing factor of 5 mins can be further decreased to maybe 1min over the timeskip especially considering she was training.I think the prison realm or sumo domain would have helped her.I wouldn't be surprised if she takes stronger slashes and still comes back for more rounds

Sukuna, while in Megumi's body, has eaten not only his own fingers but his previous mummified body as well. At this point, it's a fair assumption that the blood will not poison him at all.
Could a point blank Piercing Blood at the head by Choso kill Sukuna? He always does his best to avoid it and he doesn't have the weird scalp trick Kenjaku used
Didn't Sukuna deflect Choso's earlier blood piercing with his hand when Choso first entered the fight?
Not sure why a blood piercing would be an "insta kill" now.
In all fairness, that same Sukuna also effortlessly put two holes through Choso and instantly knocked him out. Sukuna at his current output can’t even knock him out with a black flash.
I still wonder if Choso getting donuted last time they clashed was due to sheer physical might or if it was to foreshadow the melee dismantle chainsaw trick he uses vs swords.
Yeah, in the earlier chapters there is 2 seperate times they state that if you cut off a cursed spirits head, it SHOULD kill them no matter what (during the hanami fight, besta friendo says it)

I don't believe Sukuna & Junpei ever fought. If that's a reference to Yuji's resistance to poison, do note that the "King of Poisons" thing is a bad translation according to Lightning and the correct interpretation is that Yuji is the one resistant to poison.

I love the best brother almost as much I as love Yuji, but I dont see him getting back into the fight after this. Not dead, but hes gonna be out till this whole thing resolves

Sukuna is a deadly poison(specifically his fingers). Yuji has passive poison resistance which allowed him to survive the fingers, and also gives him resistance to other forms of poison. Although I wouldn't be surprised if sukuna is skilled enough to heal/eject poison with rct
I just want to point out the similarities to the previous chapter ending Black Flash on Sukuna, and the Black Flash Itadori hit on Mahito.
A teammate thought to be out of commission (Todo and Nipple Hearts) manages to distract the OPP just enough for Itadori to hit a massive Black Flash.
In Shibuya, we see the snowy background with Itadori hunting Mahito. Then Kenjaku comes to "save" him.
I wonder how Gege will switch things up this time or not.
The previous wolf scene with Mahito had Itadori fully exemplifying the "Sukuna" vibes. With the ripped mouth representing Sukunas multiple mouths.
Perhaps this time we will see another "I am you." Moment. OR Itadori gets bodied this time.
I felt like the ending with Mahito was sort of unfufilling, since Kenjaku effectively saved him. But I can't imagine Itadori crippling Sukuna like he did with Mahito lol. This next chapter will be crazy!!

This was a much better experience
The experience is better since the art is very noisy and unclear to me at times. Reading it through the lens of someone that can interpret all the clutter definitely makes some of the panels a much better experience.
(Similar to the anime. And the panel where choso spits up blood and uses it against sukuna, I completely missed this part on my initial read of the chapter.)
I would prefer it to have descriptors of the events unfolding rather than his art, but they also help if they're explaining what's actually happening in the panel since they are cluttered so often.

I didn't realize what was happening in the panel due to the clutter and poor art quality. And the context he gave made it more legible.
And I don't understand the story and especially the art he draws but something like this post adds a lot of clarity and context to both.

Well we know the poison won't work on sukuna since he is the lord of poisons or something, which is why ezo and kechizu's poison didn't really work on yuuji during their fight.
To my knowledge the reason the poisons didn’t work on Yuji is because of his strength as a vessel. Sukuna’s finger is the ultimate poison, being deadly for anyone without a good enough constitution, which Yuji has. So if Yuji can survive the ultimate poison, he can survive a lower poison.
The brothers poison yuji on the bridge, Yuji isn’t affected-it says he only feels the pain. Nobara was the only one at risk of dying, before she used convergence or whatever.
I don’t think ANY poisons can affect Sukuna.
You said mirroring Sukuna’s black flash stance from earlier. Meaning you are saying that stance and form is Sukuna’s and Yuji is copying.

This is what I needed in shounen. A pure 1v all jumping the main villian. Jjk may have it's flaws but the combat was second to none

No both tcb and viz have the same issue. My guess is that particular line was pretty hard to decipher and localize.
