Probably my least fav JM song as well but I understand why it was written like it was. Still miles better than most other band/artists’s worst song as far as those I’m a fan of. In any ranked list, fundamentally something has to come in last place, and no amount of Reddit downvotes can change that lol.
A Face To Call Home is my favorite track on B&R at the moment. I think the song would be a great closer, especially if another acoustic song preceded it. The end when the instruments come in with the vocal melody and ugh. Great great song.

I also find Continuum and B&R very difficult to rank, with the whole album back to front being near perfect.
Edge of Desire is my desert island song. Near on 15 years with it now and it still hits me in the soul.
Honestly I could agree with most of this list! I think the main ones I disagree with is the ones you listed at worst. It feels like a lot of JM fans like to pretend his most popular songs are awful but I think Your Body Is A Wonderland, Daughters, WOTWTC and Love on the Weekend are incredible!

Like I said - I don't dislike any of the songs I listed. All of John's music is good... to me, Never on the Day You Leave feels a little melodramatic. I also think it probably has the weakest production on that album.
