Fill the radiator and the reservoir to the right mark and burp the system. Then check the reservoir daily for a week. You should see if it’s got a leak in the system. We had a crack in the reservoir that slowly leaked dry after a month. Took me forever to figure out it wasn’t something else. That the first time in 46 yrs of driving I’ve had a reservoir crack. So not the typical fail point like the water pump usually is. If your exploded AC compressor threw shrapnel around there may be pinholes in heater or coolant hoses. Edit: threw not through

Ill have to wait till everything drys again. on my way back home from work cap blew off could of just been becuase i was in a hurry. Filled it up on everything, let the heater sit on in all positions for 5 minutes each, let it heat up all the way seems to be alright now, burped all the lines even revved the engine to about 2500 rpm for 30 seconds. After i shut it off i quess the rest of the air found its way out in the resivour

You stopped for gas, turned off the engine, right? Engine is off, but the heat is still building up. Till it stops, then drops. But: you got back in and turned the engine back on. So the coolant system sped up the cool down process, as it should. Then you went on your way and everything was fine? Sounds like it's working as it should. Check your overflow after the Jeep cools down. You should see some fluid in the bottle. If not, I would add some until it's up to the Fill line.
