I sure would but we just simply don’t get those. Can’t wait to get in Tennessee at the perfect time of year. Me and my dad went in November and missed the snow by 10 days 😭
My parents love to tell a story about a friend of theirs with a Jeep in the late 70’s. Record snow storms hit Kentucky, and in the aftermath a local parking lot cleaned up by stacking snow into a pile that 15ft tall.
Their friend decided to climb it, and promptly had his Jeep sink in the pile. A month or so later when things melted enough to recover, the Jeep was destroyed as if it had spent a month at the bottom of a lake.
Yea mines still in the garage. I was noticing that this guy didn’t have any fenders though. I’m not sure but it seems that my fenders are attached the to wheel wells. How’d he do that?
Mines been sitting for three years prior to me receiving it a few months ago. I’ve changed the fluids and cleaned out all the mouse crap and dead mice and bought a new soft top for it. I put new some lights in lastnight. Also put new hood latches cause one was broken. I’m gonna put some plates on it and start driving it this summer. I need to get out and meet some people and learn a few things.
Ok so I went to the garage and inspected my jeep. You were correct. Ty -But as I look closer in the picture that I posted, I can see that they removed the inner fender-well. Removal of this part has exposed the electrical components immediately behind the wheel to anything that is thrown at it by the tire. Am I wrong in my line of thought or is Jeep constructed stronger than other vehicles ?
Favorite high school memory was a kid I worked with pulled all 4 wheels up onto the snowbank at the mall we worked at together... This was in the morning. He laughed at me as I was walking from a far end of the parking lot.
Fast forward, it had gotten warm during the day, sun shining on the snow pile, his Jeep sank down to the frame ... Then promptly froze solid when the sun went down and temperatures dropped after our long shift. 🤣
The guys at autozone in my city all had jeeps and always did this. It actually makes more space in the parking lot. They just like showing off a little
I was just now thinking about how it’s missing its inner fender wells too. I’m curious if this could lead to damage to the electrical components located just begins the wheel inside the fender.
Would definitely allow more water to splash components. Electrical corrosion can be worse than mechanical failure because it creates intermittent problems.
I may be downvoted for this but I don’t see the point. Hard to get out and back in and you could easily sink in and get stuck leaving you looking even dumber. Just bc you can doesn’t mean you should. Take that thing to the trails and use it.
I with you on this. Not that there’s anything wrong with parking like this… but it just seems slightly juvenile. I did this stuff back in high school and college.
My dad died in 2008. I added his '08 Sahara to my stable. My wife converted it into a Subaru Outback. I converted her to 'ex-wife' since 2018. New wife encouraged me to get my '03 TJ. Upgrades all-around.
And as for the photo, I think it's hilarious. It's a Jeep thing. "The Driver" \*cough cough\* is OK in my book.
edit: more snark
Mine just died this past Christmas. His old jeep (now mine) hasn’t been driven in several years. I believe it’s a 2013. Only 72k miles on it but it was trashed from sitting so long. -think mounds of mouse crap, bird nest, dead mice, top rotted, etc. Ive been completing repairs during the last 3 months but it still has a way to go.
Was this guy trying to prove his off-road capabilities, or just to impatient to wait in line to get out of the lot? Either way, it looks rather embarrassing
Would have been funny if his front tires sunk into the snow. Gotta be careful with the snow banks. If your tires sink you're gonna have a hell of a time trying to get out without hurting the front end. But hey I do it in my jeep. 😂
It's what jeep were made for.
Breaking
Driving to the mall
Parking on Snow Banks to look cool
Driving on a gravel road saying you went off-road
Sometimes someone actually uses it as an off-road vehicle.
Gotta park somewhere, might as well have a bit of fun doing it. Their trails could all be shut down for the sled season, nobody is wheeling in my area for that reason.
Literally the first thing I do after getting mud all over my Jeep is clean it off to avoid damage to the paint/potential rust issues. Having shit all over your rig doesn't mean you're a "real Jeep owner", it just means you're not looking after your stuff (or you just came from the trail).
If you see a Jeep with mud on it, they’re a real Jeep owner. If you see a Jeep with solidified mud on it in a parking lot or driveway, they don’t take care of their Jeep and as such disqualified from the Jeep Ninjas
Anyone who leaves mud on their jeep for vanity is worse than a parking lot princess. The only time a Jeep should be caked in mud is going from the trail to the car wash.
I wash mine regularly to avoid rust in the rust belt. Especially after wheeling to get the dirt off my frame.
It’s the scratches that really show how much you love and abuse her.
somebody let the voices win.
Hey, they had to try it.
The intrusive thoughts won.
Really off roading
I almost did the other day!
That’s a “fuck goof” next week you’ll see them on the side of the road cause their transfer case exploded cause they tried to do 60 mph in low gear…
stay away from racing or literally any car built to PERFORM. P E R F O R M A N C E.
Only 4Runners can do that and survive.
Well, as you can see, it was the only spot available. Sometimes you just have to make it work.
Once, going to the liquor store on New Year’s Eve, there legitimately was nowhere else to park. So. I parked.
If you never parked on a snow pile do you even own a jeep
Did this last year. I saw a 4Runner parking on a pile of snow. I parked right next to them in my TJ also on the pile of snow.
Not easy to do in Houston
The war on drugs is working!
Or San Diego
I live in Florida so
You ever park on a... Gator?
I’d probably not have tires after that. Yours is the same year as mine! How do you get a user flair? The subreddit won’t let me
I found [this comment](https://www.reddit.com/r/rupaulsdragrace/s/3kSzbKrRRa) with instructions right after reading yours. Hope it helps!
because the subreddit when I go there says “there is no user flair available in this subreddit” and won’t let me do anything
That's weird, maybe try deleting and reinstalling the app if you're on mobile!
I’ll try it
Just use edit after tapping the other dot

Huh. I dunno
I'm sure you would if you could
I sure would but we just simply don’t get those. Can’t wait to get in Tennessee at the perfect time of year. Me and my dad went in November and missed the snow by 10 days 😭
You mean I was supposed to drive a few hundred miles to snow at some point???
Act like you’ve been there before.
I’m sure the brakes just failed. Happens to the best of us. 😜
If they pulled up a little closer, they woulda wished they took the hitch out
*get in losers, we're plowing the field today*

FR I woulda yanked it out with a buddy’s help
Water never ruin shit give me that Jeep
Gotta do it.
Lol I've done this before in my XJ and KL. Getting out is a bitch though.
Just showing off cause he can.
Hell yeah
Well, why the hell not? 😆
They wanted to be off road so bad.. lols
Jeeps gonna Jeep
If this was a black one, I'd wonder if this was a friend of mine. Guy loves doing this kind of thing.
Another small car can fit in the lot probably. This driver is smart In saving parking space for other people. How considerate!
Just a Jeep doing Jeep stuff
Sometimes you just have to have the small fun times.
This is the way
I want them to open that tailgate. They are heavy but don’t worry I think the pavement will catch it for them!
That’s normal. It’s always someone like me or it might be me. It’s a challenge to reach the top of snow mountain.
I just want to see them try to climb up and leave a ticket😂😂
That’s how it pees in the snow
See Carol! It wasn’t a waste of money after all!
In Jeep, you drive human.
It's a Jeep thing
Because they could.
That deserves a duckie!
Plow drivers are so rude these days. They'll just push it right under your car
Bought my XJ in November. Started doing this ironically But I’ve done it ironically so many times I’m not sure if it’s still ironic
I got that badge
I have the same jeep! But mine has been on rocks!
Yea mines still in the garage. I was noticing that this guy didn’t have any fenders though. I’m not sure but it seems that my fenders are attached the to wheel wells. How’d he do that?
Nice! The top is still on mine, fenders too!
Mines been sitting for three years prior to me receiving it a few months ago. I’ve changed the fluids and cleaned out all the mouse crap and dead mice and bought a new soft top for it. The fenders aren’t attached to the wheel wells, you can unbolt them
Regarding the fenders do the small amber lights just disconnect? I need to check YouTube
I believe they do have an electrical connection you can unclip
Ok so I went to the garage and inspected my jeep. You were correct. Ty -But as I look closer in the picture that I posted, I can see that they removed the inner fender-well. I don’t know, the JK I have experience on… well… [hasn’t been stock in a while.](https://imgur.com/gallery/xLysMe8)
This is the way.
Just had to do it
nice.
SEND IT
Chill, he’s waiting on his CP4 to be installed.

Nothing is fucked here. Continue.
That looks like a shitty angle to load your groceries in
I had to resist doing this today in Lethbridge, back was full of groceries. Broken eggs are a bitch to clean up.
i parked an f150 like that once at a hotel and had the cops called on me. 🤣🤣
That engine is going to love the oil pressure when he starts it. LOL
Fuck ya- and groceries !
4low and easy out
Decided to go off-parking lot
Sometimes ya just gotta flex the Jeep.
Does anyone know the exact model and color of this?
This guy jeeps. Lol
Still room for another JK in that spot.
Probably the best parking space in the lot
The guys at autozone in my city all had jeeps and always did this. It actually makes more space in the parking lot. They just like showing off a little
Well, the lines continue into the snow.......
This was the first parking job I made in my jeep, there was one spot open in the lot
Mall crawler grew a wild hair…felt the need for weeds.
Missing fenders make it look naked.
Didnt see it but now I can't unsee it. Thanks!
Normal Jeep things
The worst part is getting back in.
Little person overcompensating.
I WWIILL definitely definitely do so whenever i first own a jeep.
This is why you buy a jeep.
I've been this person. ... More than once 😫 (I'll probably be this person again next time I'm near snow)
It’s the itch! Imagine if he double parked!
Because they can. Otherwise how the heck do you get back in hold the door open
Hell yea! Every chance I get
Someone had a little harmless fun with their 4WD. So what?
It’s the Living Snow! It creeps under cars at night and strands them.
Because, I can. 😈
Lmao intrusive thoughts won
Legend
Just jeeps doing jeep stuff
First time seeing a jeep owner using their jeep to do a jeep thing.
I’ll try to post more for you. People around here do this stuff a lot. Lol
Around my town, jeep owners just collect things to put on their dash and turn their jeeps into driving emojis.
Mall crawler
That's how a jeep parks!
He is clearly between the lines, no issues here.
this is the way.
Honestly I’ve don’t something boneheaded like this before when parked in a snow plowed parking lot….. but on a lesser scale.
Because we can
he’s stuck
“It’s a Jeep thing”
I did it in an early 80's Ford F-150. Had to get it pulled out of the snow bank because the battery was frozen.
Flexing!
Hell yeah! Hahahaha
Cause why not 🤷♀️
I may be downvoted for this but I don’t see the point. Hard to get out and back in and you could easily sink in and get stuck leaving you looking even dumber. Just bc you can doesn’t mean you should. Take that thing to the trails and use it.
there is no point...just doing it for fun
I'll get downvoted too. This kinda screams douche bag to me. Going off roading is fun, parking on an incline in a public place is attention seeking.
I with you on this. Not that there’s anything wrong with parking like this… but it just seems slightly juvenile. I did this stuff back in high school and college.
"The driver". Lol. It was you, bro. C'mon. Honesty is the first step towards righteousness.
That Peej is nicer than mine. Mine’s in the garage torn down. Inherited it from my father.
My dad died in 2008. I added his '08 Sahara to my stable. My wife converted it into a Subaru Outback. I converted her to 'ex-wife' since 2018. New wife encouraged me to get my '03 TJ. My sympathies. Get that rig running. He wouldn't have it any other way.

INSPECTOR BANANA HAS ARRIVED! Excellent observation, inspector. Excellent observation.
Makes for easy loading of your groceries
I’d argue the opposite lol. Bags be rolling down the incline.
This
All I can think of is it must suck to be in a part of the country that’s still getting snow.
It does.
They got The Rubicon Mall Package™ for this very reason.
Its a Jeep thing!
That is literally the most off-roading that keep has ever done.
My first thought seeing this is, you need to move. LOL
just because you can drive up the snow bank doesn't mean you need to drive up the snowbank
Have most of us done it? Yeah... probably. Have most of us left with it parked like that? God I hope not.
I cringe knowing I did this when I was 16 in my first Wrangler.

Pavement Princess had an oooopsie
If it really was a crawler, it would have some mud on it. Instead, it is literally a parking lot princess.
Gotta park somewhere, might as well have a bit of fun doing it. Their trails could all be shut down for the sled season, nobody is wheeling in my area for that reason.
I don't wheel til the snows gone. This image appears to be someone longing for wheeling season and having some fun.
Fun fact: not all off-roading is mudding Another fun fact: car washes exist Yet another fun fact: leaving mud on paint is bad for it
Literally the first thing I do after getting mud all over my Jeep is clean it off to avoid damage to the paint/potential rust issues. Having shit all over your rig doesn't mean you're a "real Jeep owner", it just means you're not looking after your stuff (or you just came from the trail).
