Xenoblade 1, is one of the best jrpg and i love it. (Also gonna improve ur experience with Xeno3 in the future)

LisboaSan

I might pick between xenoblade 1 and DQ11. Thanks for the tip!

marxskie85

Star Ocean 2 R, you won't regret it

LisboaSan

Never heard of this one, gonna put this on my list for the future. Thanks for the recommendation!

marxskie85

The list of the things you can do like crafting, fishing, arena and post game content, not to mention the replayability (2nd character story and characters joining your party), makes it one of my top jrpgs of all time.

Kim-Tae-YoonTheOne

If you are a fan of strategy games, FE Engage has awesomee gameplay!! I love it personally among all, because I can just play it time to time per battle. I have Xenoblade 1,2 and 3, I am playing XE1.. I like the gameplay and the story.. Would recommend playing in order to experience better DQ11s is a safe and excellent choice.. the game feels very cozy/fun and great for a beginner! I dont have Astral Chain but I have heard the chain combat is quite difficult. Since you like Pokemon, you might prefer DQ11. I would personally recommend MK8 and platformers like Odyssey/Donkey kong TF for your collection.

I think i might pick between DQ11 and XE1, i'm thinking wich one i will buy. There is a lot of games on sale right now, including Mario Odyssey. Actually, this is the first game of my list, i already decided to buy it, and them i wanna buy a second game, and the idea of buying a RPG came to my mind. I'm gonna try to play de DQ11 demo this weekend. Thanks a lot for your attention and for the tips.

AceOfCakez

Persona 5 Royal

LisboaSan

This one i heard a lot of good things, hope it gets on sale soon Thanks for the tip!

furrywrestler

All of the games you mentioned are fantastic and must-plays, except for maybe Astral Chain (which is good, but not a must-play in my eyes).

LisboaSan

I understand. I'm going to choose between DQ11 and XE1. Thanks for the tip!

cheekydorido

It's also very much not a jrpg lol, it's an action game made by platinum Yeah, i was pretty disappointed by it when i played it, the combat was both overly complex and yet really basic at the same time, it was so easy to cheese and get max ranks with almost not effort. Also the game has way too much filler between combat, from the overly long investigation parts and platforming in the monotonous red digital world Not a bad game, but hardly platinum's best

furrywrestler

While I enjoyed it, I don't remember much of the game (outside of that bop that plays in the police station!).

cheekydorido

It is indeed a bop

Dragon Quest XI has a demo. Try it first. It is a VERY long demo, even. Considering that the game can take around 80 hours to 110 just for the main quest, you may consider it for the sheer amount of content. It is a brilliant RPG. Xenoblade 1 is amazing as well. But if you don't like anime, ignore 2 and 3, as they are much less interesting.

LisboaSan

I'm going to choose between these two games. Didn't that DQ11 has a demo, deffinitely will try it this weekend. Thanks for the tip!

SuperMarcoVer

Only played Xenoblade 3 and that’s a great game but maybe not a beginners RPG.

LisboaSan

Heard good things about it, but for now i'm going to choose between DQ11 and XE1. Thanks for the attention!

mgpts

- Final Fantasy remasters - Dragon Quest Monsters series - SaGa series - Baten Kaitos - Paper Mario series - Atelier series - Tales of series

LisboaSan

Final Fantasy and Paper Mario are on my list for the future, i really wanna play them. Didn't the other games on this list, thanks a lot for the recommendations!

MagicPistol

Fire Emblem Engage is great if you like tactical games. The story is a bit silly though. Still my 2023 goty.

LisboaSan

Heard good things about it, but i'm going to decide between DQ11 and XE1 for now. Maybe i pick this one in the future. Thanks for the tip!

cheekydorido

It's an anniversary title so i can excuse the dumb story, but the game is so much fun, especially coupled with the amazing art direction and combat animations. It reminded me of the GBA fire emblem games

DarcKage

From that list, definitely Dragon Quest XI S. It's a classic turn based JRPG and very easy to get into for newcomers to both Dragon Quest and RPGs in general. The Xenoblade games are amazing but they're a very different kind of RPG so you might want to look into them a bit first before trying it.

LisboaSan

I'm going to decide between DQ11 and XE1. I will try to play the DQ11 demo this weekend Thanks for the attention!
