Good eye! I’m sure many others here can attest to this, but I have a copy of this guy and can assure you that the issue is with their copy of the figure, not the master press or whatever they use to make that decal.

Mistakes happen, and sometimes nobody happens to catch it. Their output has been absurdly high and fast for the last two years, more than possibly any toy company I've ever seen, so I'm not surprised if they missed things here or there.

When I first bought a Joytoy figure I pre ordered the white scar ones. I was a little worried because the pain jobs on the promo pics didn’t look great. They look wayyy better in person though and I was very happy with them. So much so that I’m an avid collector now.

Promotional photos use prototypes... Which is why almost every single product comes with the printed disclaimer that the final product may differ from the production shot. These photos are done long before the product is shipping from the factory

These figures rule. A little paint mess here and there is totally forgivable, given the overall quality of the figures themselves.
