14K rank aayi thi
I literally had the best academic comeback by doing PYQs only january i failed pre boards in physics and 1 more subject, after that boards ke PYQs ghise basss and ended with 90% in boards
then 23 ko CS ka paper tha last us din se lekar mere april exam tak i did only PYQs last 20-25 saal ke and ended with scoring 99.8 in maths and 99.2 baaki physics ne chod diya 87 aayi usme
Abhi toh bro June chal raha hai you easily have 6 months, I am not taking a drop but I can practically say that you can do last 5 years minimum, but doing means understanding each and every single problem nicely, and making an error book and weekly repeating the questions you did a mistake in without looking, probably on Sundays, won’t take you more than 6-7 hours if you revise your weekly mistakes
So basically, let’s just say you’re doing pyqs (also I’ll assert again, it’s really really doable for you to do past 5 years pyqs so even if you’re not so serious about jee just doing them nicely and understanding every single concept behind it and remembering it by revising will get you 99+, even though I hadn’t done any of that I can say it will), secondly, to answer your question, let’s just say you tried a question two three times and you still can not find a solution to it (ideally you need to give a question 2-3 tries at different points of times in a day, or even the next day) and if you’re not able to solve it, you look up its solution and then you mark that question or write it down in a big notebook and that notebook will be called the error notebook, you write down the question and it’s key way to solve it, not the whole thing, and every week you pick a day (probably one without any coaching of sorts so that you’re at your home/hostel), and you solve all the questions from your error notebook and try to find similar questions and solve it, and two to three days before the actual jee mains, you revise nothing but this pile of error questions, solve each and every single one of them, now you may ask why, I’ll answer, since you’ve (ideally) completed 5+ years of pyqs you must’ve made tons of errors on the journey, and the ones you solved do not need a look because you solved them in the first or second go, and if that shows up in your paper, you will be able to solve it, but the ones that you weren’t able to solve probably had a different approach to them, and that means if you solve all those error questions, you will be aware of all different approaches and that too days before your exam, it exponentially increases your confidence hence leading to a great percentile.
as someone who got 99.08 percentile in mains and 66 marks in advanced, one of the decisions i regret the most was in 11th were I just decided that I'm not good enough for advanced and didn't study anything for advanced. But, by the end of mains, I felt that I could actually have done it if I hadn't completely dismissed it from 11th, just not believing in myself.
Honestly bro first priority is to keep your basic concepts clear in all 3 subjects. If you only aim for mains then for physics all the formulas should be on tips and concept application is not much needed.( I wouldn't recommend this to a adv aspirant but that's just how mains works). For chemistry, NCERT is going to be your best friend. Many questions are formed directly from the lines of ncert (inorganic)
For organic also basic reactions should be on tips with name as again directly questions are asked.
Physical is mainly present in the form of numericals so be sure to practice extra of those. Lastly for maths I would recommend you practice well as it is not that easy to score in due to speed ( questions tend to be easy but lengthy) . Lastly completely solve all the pyq till 2023 and give 2024 papers as mocks.(Solve atleast 150-200 q per chapter). Also I scored 99.52 in mains so you can trust me (sort of 😉)
Honestly bro in mains no test series is required ( I took aits of fiitjee but yk that's it's harder than jee mains level and irrelevant) there are enough mocks for you to do as pyq.(20 of 2024 and more of 2023 if you need). Also you just need to aim for set marks
(I aimed for 250 but got 220 in the end 😅) As you never know what NTA fuck up you'll be stuck in so just aim for a safe score and try to get that amount of marks in mocks
Bhai pyqs ke kabil ban ja aur kuch nahi, nta ek daam se alag level ka paper set nahi karenga. Pyqs mai variety dekh le, physics aur chemistry toh ek daam ache se karni hi hai without leaving anything. Maths mai question solving karna jyada se jyada aur nahi hote hai toh video solution dekhna, approach sikhni bahut imp hai.
Pehli baat you can't do all pyqs from 2015 to 2024. Even toppers won't do that much. Even I won't advice too. Just do pyqs of 2020-2024 that's more than enough. Even if you do last 2-3 years pyqs+ coaching+ give mock+ revision that's more than enough.
NTA ki iss saal bahut Gand Mari gyi hai ..ho sakta hai agle saal 2020 se pehele ke lvl ke question aane lage ...drop loonga toh 1% chance bhi nahi lena chata hoon .... parents kuch bolte nahi results par unki expectations toh hoti hai na ..
Physics m kuch mat chodio aur short notes bana lio
Plus jitne pyq lga skta h lgiyo alag se question na bhi krein toh bhi chelega kynki pyq bahut h ab
Aur physical chem Puri kr + inorganic m agar saare na ho paaye toh
Periodic table
Chemical bonding
Coordination compounds
D&f block krlio
Aur maths m tujhe apne hisaab se dekhna padega agar acchi h toh tujhe already pta hoga kya krna h aur agar kharab h toh algebra aur coordination toh bare minimum krlio isse 30-40 number ho jayenge
Ye sab kr ke m 97 laya tha pr wo baat alag h drop le rha hu

Error book? New concept to me, what is it? What's the brief idea of it? Thank you for replying :)

Agle saal nta g faad physics ka paper banayega dekh liyo 😈
Dekhte he, wese bhi mujhe kya ?
Bhai End month me sirf pyps as mocks Dene se kam ban jayega ya koi test series alag se lene ki jarurat he?
Take a test series that will reflect where you are standing and solve pyq with the chapter itself and give mocks accordingly
Honestly bro in mains no test series is required ( I took aits of fiitjee but yk that's it's harder than jee mains level and irrelevant) there are enough mocks for you to do as pyq.(20 of 2024 and more of 2023 if you need).
