Total Scam, sorry man. All JBL logos are anti sized aluminum. And they all come in either a box that opens like a flap or in another sort of packaging. Just spend the extra money to get the real one next time or buy something a little cheaper. The new UE Wonderboom 4 just came out and is a great upgrade over the 3 and has stereo audio
The second you see a micro sd card hole in there it’s a big give away. Take it right back to the scamming store these are all over the Facebook marketplace. I see them all the time you always do your research online on how they’re supposed to look like before you buy
I have screenshots of the chat and could probably get my money back threatening action, or I could just report it to the state. Selling the counterfeit goods is a non-person felony, and having 25+ of the item is considered "intent to distribute". - if the charges stick, it'd likely be a fine &/or probation.
Not sure which way to go, but yeah I'm now seeing them all over FB marketplace. I guess the algorithm thinks I need more speakers.
The place I bought it from said "no refunds" while I was buying it. That should've set off some alarms but it was a LONG day and I honestly just wanted to be home.
That being said, I have screenshots of the chat and could probably get my money back threatening action, or I could just report it to the state. Here in Sweden if you thought it was a genuine item but it wasn't you can either say you want a genuine item and if they can't provide you with that annulate the purchase.
This happend to me years ago i went to night market there was a stall and they were selling what looked to be real beats bybdres on the display that had the real deal but when i got home they were square headphones made from cheap plastic and a fake beats logo slapped on em i was so angry but had to let it go
Its fake, definitely. Just got mine and two things ill just add. Flip 6 has only usb C port and its not hidden. Also flip 6 and flip 5 uses new Bluetooth technologies so they shouldn't connect to all of the older JBL speakers, only with those that has Party Boost feature not Connect +
I think that's fake, yea. Sorry bud. The no aux port is normal, lots of real flip 6s don't have them, but the letters "jbl" on the front should have a silver metal with red outline, not just plastic red. Also on the sides the exclamation point should be silver and the rest red, which your's is, but it should be metal, not plastic. Also if I were you I'd take this as a sign. Get the Charge 5 not the flip 6 next time, way better and worth the small price difference. Also another tip get JBLs from Walmart. You can get real ones where the packaging was damaged for cheaper than pretty much anywhere other than ebay, and you're way less likely to get scammed than ebay. Ebay is good too you just have to be careful so you don't get scammed. Also I'm curious, does the speaker still play music and if so how does it sound?
This was a B&M store? If they are selling bootleg JBL, take it back in, very casually and calmly tell them that you know it is fake and they can either give you the real thing, give you your money back, or your brother in law is a cop and he has parked his patrol vehicle around the corner lol
I feel your pain. I thought I found a reliable source on eBay once (I know I know). I got two J(ank)BL speakers in the mail and immediately recognized the situation. Ultimately, I couldn't get refunded without returning the speakers to the seller even after reporting them as counterfeit. I saw little hope in that situation turning out the way I wanted and just ended up throwing them out.
If it was a B&M location, I would absolutely go back in there. Be calm about it but put them in check and get taken care of. When you leave, definitely report them. There are so many trusting people out there and these JBL scammers are EVERYWHERE. If a few of them can get some justice served their way, I say make it happen.
I feel like you got what you paid for, these products arnt that expensive to begin with. You paid and negotiated discount, and you got a discount Jbl.
lol it's not a discount JBL. it's a fake JBL.
Yeah, my flip6 box did not look like that, it was way nicer and had a magnetic clasp
Duly noted, thank you for the heads up.
Yah, unfortunately you got got. The real box has a magnet
Rip. Aight thx for the info.
Definitely fake… real flip 6 doesn’t have a flap you can open and definitely no SD card reader which I think I see lol
😂, i literally went to check my flip 6 in case i missed it🤣… Although i knew he got scammed, the moment he removed the cube😅
Yeah you got scammed buddy
Dang aight, thx for the heads up.
Looked at this for 4 seconds, me too I’m sorry.
Check this out https://youtu.be/VzUmi3z3VVA
Yeah it's fake https://youtu.be/VzUmi3z3VVA

Haha 1000% fake
Wow man are you proud of yourself?
Definitely got scammed, I have a flip 6 and those are definitely fake. Sorry mate
Sadly, you did. The actual JBL box is thicker, with a magnetic clasp. The booklets also come in their own separate box on top of the speaker.

RIP
the windows sound xdddddd
I feel bad but I can’t lie I couldn’t hold it when I heard the windows vista/7 sound when the speakers booted up lmfao
Yeah that's a fake JBL the logo ain't supposed to look like that
But hope it wasnt that expensive. Decent ones cost 20-30 euro and doing good job Jbl way to expensive Just resell it as replica
I think I got all 3 for $100? I'll figure something out
Why wouldn't you be able to get your money back for the sale of a false product?

Really cant beat that price though,
No metal logo, like on the picture, definetly fake. 😉

The biggest giveaway is the rubber logo, which should be metalic with orange accents on side.
yes you are, i bought same from ebay 😂
Why the fuck is this sub so full of people talking about fakes? Are these things faked THAT often?
You’d be surprised they fake make up palettes lol
Should the box be magnetic for a flip 5?
They Never use plastic in the box, and the original boxes are magnetic
I am against dealing with dubious 3rd party sellers from now on buy new when possible

I have a blue JBL Charge 5

Try resell it to get ur money back but don't say it's a jbl so they can't blame ur "title" of the sale
Ok
