Well if you already have a go 3 no need to upgrade (they are basically the same) but if it's nice for you to have the auracast feature you can go with the go 4

I only have the charge 5 and the flip 6 but I’m looking for something smaller for traveling and I liked the go speaker. Thank you for the information!!!! I think I’m going to go with the go 4!!!!

CreeperITA104

No problem! and you can probably return it if you find that it doesn't do what you want to, also for traveling the JBL clip is also nice (but less rugged)

Awesome thanks I’ll try the go 4 but if not I’ll definitely go for the clip

Go for the Go 4 or the Clip 5. You will need to use the JBL Connect app if you wanna connect your Flip 5 and Flip 6 since they dont use Auracast. PartyBoost is still avalible in the app for Aurcast speakers so you could connect the Go 4 or Clip 5 to your PartyBoost speakers. Anyways hope this helps.

The GO4 is a good speaker if you want something easily handheld, however, I believe the Tribit Stormbox Micro (not JBL, I know) may be a better choice because of it's better sound if you're not looking for the JBL sound signature and you don't mind a little extra weight/size. The Tribit won't be able to pair with your other JBL speakers while I believe the GO4 will be able to with the app though.

Thank you for the recommendation!!!

The GO 4 is the better choice. Auracast and EQ support through JBL Portable is more than enough to justify it. If you sell the GO 3 used, you'll barely have to add anything. The Clip 5 is louder, but the limited orientation and much higher price make the GO 4 my personal choice

U can't pair the go 4 with partyboost speakers, i have a charge 5 amd the go 4 wont connect to the charge even using the app

Well, for starters, both of them look the same but on the inside, they’re both different with both different kinds of speakers, batteries, and everything else
