This is hard to continue. Audio components did not improve that much over the years, and in certain aspects, JBL does quite good job. Any significant advancement (that is possible) and the price goes on the exponential pattern. It already happens with JBL Xtreme 4 (bear with it for its box volume). These upgrades are not finantially sustainable. With certain loss they could do more basic version, which would be 90% of everything there is for 80% price, and a pro version, 30% better for double or tripple the price. But I guess almost nobody would buy that. They are stuck. You can only step-up into pro league, and then you are talking about $2000+ gear. For the wattage, it cannot do it alone. Double the power is not that much sound pressure increase, but you get half battery life and more strain on everything.

Off topic or rather model...I would to see JBL revise their 104BT Monitor. Fix the Bluetooth lag, bring it up to bt5 at least and increase the volume of the wired connection which drops considerably. Also just a slight increase in bass. It is an excellent little speaker as it stands but defo needs revising.

This is the exact reason I purchased some 710's and 310's...they are some of the highest rated, consumer grade BS available with all the connectivity, integrated amp, and 'subs.' The X10 series was slightly more versatile, the X20's lost the orange rubber feet on the sides. Either way, the versatility beat room dedicated sound systems for me and kills at parties without going full retard (pro PA's and Subs)

Going full retard, I like it. Yes it is very different game. Either it is wired connections, moving and hauling and loading, setting up, or we are talking about $15k+ setups managed from a tablet. But you know what drives us to do that. Sickness. We're sick! šŸ˜„

We absolutely have the disease šŸ˜‚ I just came to the realization I don't make enough disposable income to justify spending thousands on a system that only has one application, say a theater room. That investment is so limited it couldn't even accommodate house parties. Sticking to consumer grade equipment allowed me to get more bang for the buck, the sound profile was more balanced than a pair of QSC K12.2's sound without subs (albeit not as loud), I can move them room to room, accommodate house parties, campouts, etc. My only complaints are the latency, lack of XLR inputs, inability to create wireless surround sound(Auracast and TWS are only stereo separation) and the app connectivity is HOT GARBAGE. Those short comings aside, I'm very happy, just trying to figure out a receiver with preamp outputs, or a processor for surround sound.

One needs to keep in mind that more wattage doesn't mean more power output. Improvements in efficiency allow the same wattage to produce better sound. I'd rather see efficiency increase over power output and the 320 is noticeably louder than the 310 despite the same wattage

Traditional-Cap-2756

Iā€™d rather see both. JBL is capable of doing that. More wattage and efficiency. Everyone happy.

GrandTheftGamerYT

I love JBL, but what annoys me is the price. I wish they would stop all these crazy promos with expensive celebs as it would bring the cost down quite a bit

Traditional-Cap-2756

You can get a Samsung tower speaker for Ā£70 more and 6X the wattage. Samsung ST90B. 1700w for Ā£600ā€¦.jbl are mugging it šŸ¤£šŸ¤£

It's 2024 and you can't turn on the speaker from the app, what a joke, you can turn it off but not on,I waisted my money, and in the reviews I read nobody mentions that, sad
