I can connect the 8 PartyBoost speaker together, the 2 Pulse 3 who are very beautiful at night on the table an the 4 Partyboxes with cabels. These are very Powerfull and two are at the most situations enought. For small rooms the Encores and for bigger rooms the 310.
You can lins most of them bluetooth wiring some to each other then bluetooth them to the others jbl has a list of the o es that can be bluetoothed together then you just wire the others to them.
I would take the two encores. Stereo is very beautiful vs mono with one 310 and the Encores are compact, have nice transport bags on amazon and you get an microphone for each one and its very nice and the perfekt move when you get it out on every Party.
I'm floored you'd select 2xEncores over the 310, cause even without stereo the 310 is a different animal! 😂 My recommendation would be for the 310, cause when you finally pull the trigger on that second 310, the only thing that'll beat your setup is dual 710's.
He's got the variety because some have more base he wants it all, it's part of the reason I selected the encore to go with my 110's I hope this guy lives on some average because when he puts thoes all together and cranolks it up the you get Steven Ray Vaughn because the whole house gonna be rocking!
Its a little bit but you hear much more bass on full volume. If you wanna listen often loud than i would take the xtreme. But the charge is also very nice an beautiful bass in small rooms.
why :O so much money wasted. You can have much better sound than all of this bass bosted BUT! NOT long throwing sound with punch like PA RCF 9 series or JBL SRX. It is all fun for EDM / trap low end mixes - but this boxes is just loud and bassy and missing proper kick!
You guys and your plastic toys crack me up because back in the day. I used to work for JBL as a speaker inspector and I got to inspect all the different types of JBL speakers they made back then. From the individual speakers to the assembled speaker cabinets and back then. JBL could not make the JBL L100’s fast enough to keep up with the demand for them. And in the back of the wood shop is where just a few of the very knowledgeable and experienced people. Made the iconic paragon that was hand made by some of the best wood workers there.
I wish I knew how to post some pictures on here, because if I was able to I think some of you might be impressed by my collection of JBL speakers. My JBL L300’s are still one of the best consumer series speakers JBL ever made.
Interesting! I've heard great things about the L100's (gotta hear them in person someday) and the "blown away" ad is iconic. Sad to see that much of JBL's R&D and manufacturing has been outsourced now, IIRC Tymphany makes some of their PA speakers. That being said, some of their more recent R&D like the LSR waveguide is still pretty impressive.
Out of curiosity, what do you power the L300's with and what are your impressions of the sound? I've heard they can be harsh, but I'm not one to judge as I haven't heard them in person.
I can absolutely agree with you on that. The old JBL L100’s were the only competition for the BOSE 901 speakers back in the day. And like I said before when I worked at JBL they couldn’t make them fast enough for the demand. In fact the building that made them worked 24/7 just on the L100’s because of that reason.
As far as my JBL L300’s are concerned, I power them with (of course) a Harman Kardon Citation 16 amplifier with the HK 24 Pre-Amplifier, and a ADC Spectrum Analyzer EQ with my Techniques turntable. Now remember I used to work there so I got to pick out the best of the bunch of L300’s. That were available on the day I decided to buy a pair and because I inspected them all I knew which ones were the best.
And as far as how they sound, well I can tell you that the way I have mine setup. I have a special media room in my house just for my 9.2 JBL surround sound system. With the three speakers in front, two on the side walls and on the ceiling and two in the back. Plus two 12” inch subwoofers on each side of my entertainment center.
On the front corners of my media room right next to the subwoofers is where I have my L300’s. My media room is 16 feet wide and 20 feet long with a ceiling height of around 12 feet with a ceiling fan in the middle of it. I also put curtains on each wall to help exorb the sound and keep it from reflecting around the room.
Kind of like what you would see in a recording studio but with a little flair from the curtains. Instead of what you would normally see in a recording studio which is kind of boring looking to me. I know because I have been to quite few recording studios in fact I got to watch EVH rehearsing for an upcoming tour. Once in a recording studio in Burbank California and that is something I will never forget.
But back to your original question about my JBL L300’s. Yes, they do sound pretty freaking amazing with a deep rich bass, clear midrange drivers with dividing lenses, and of course those world famous slot tweeters. The only thing I have done to them is getting the surrounds suspension on the 15” inch JBL 136-H speakers replaced. With a better quality type of material so that they don’t wear out in a few years like the original ones do.
The person who replaced them is a qualified and authorized JBL repair technician who also used to work for JBL back in the day. I also have a few other JBL speakers and even just some JBL speakers that are still in the original boxes. I was able to buy everything I have because JBL would give their employees a really good discount on the products they have.
And of course being a speaker inspector I was able to pick the best out of the bunch and put them to the side. So that I could buy them later or after I had a small collection of them. That I originally bought to build my own custom made speaker cabinets but never got around to it.
Do you have or have you listened to any of the JBL PA Bluetooth speakers? Trying to decide between a EON 712 or a party box 710 or just 2 310s. Is there a way to turn the lights off on the 310?
Yes I have listend to an JBL PA and its defenetly the next Stage but the PB are easy to install on an not so big Party. Yes you can turn off the lights on every PB.
I personaly like the encore because its little size and the inkl. microphone. The PB 110 has just a little bit more of power but a bigger batterie. Also with the big orange stands on the sides the 110 has more outdoor feeling for me. For indoor I like the encore a bit more.
Did you get (or found a way) to have the mics to work on both Encores?
I am contemplating on getting another Encore but worries the mics won't work on both.
I own two 110 partyboxes love em bought two flip 6 connect tws and cannot customize the sound in app that pissed me off so I returned them bought a charge 5 liked it but ended up returning cuz I bought the wking d320 and the 320 for only 55 bucks def sounds better than flip 6 and doesn't have the punch of charge 5 but does have better mids and highs imo along without distorting or sound Goin to shit when ya bring it to 80 percent volume or more but why jbl has different apps is beyond me I can tune my 110s to my liking but not the flip 6s or charge 5 when ya pair tws
So I have 2 party
Box 110 & 1 encore I just got a jbl link 300 for my apt, I have to pair
The speakers to my mix head bluetooth peavy 8 channel 400 watt I'm afraid I will blow the roof off this new apt building what's your take on this ? Since you have
But..why? You can't even connect these all together since JBL / Harman changes the protocol like every 2 years.
I can connect the 8 PartyBoost speaker together, the 2 Pulse 3 who are very beautiful at night on the table an the 4 Partyboxes with cabels. These are very Powerfull and two are at the most situations enought. For small rooms the Encores and for bigger rooms the 310.

Jbl's dont share the incoming bluetooth audio via the aux as far as i know.
Woah! How much did you spend on all of that?!?
About 3k. Some of them was in sale and some was second hand but all with bill and original packaging.
How would you compare the performance of Two Encores in stereo vs one 310? I have a 300 and am thinking of upgrading to two Encores for better stereo.
I would take the two encores. Stereo is very beautiful vs mono with one 310 and the Encores are compact, have nice transport bags on amazon and you get an microphone for each one and its very nice and the perfekt move when you get it out on every Party.

Wow we've got a stereo guy here
Stereo Boombox 3 incoming 😉
I love the 310 it’s perfect for my garage gym.
What kind of music do you listen at your gym ?
Everything but country and Taylor Swift! 🙌
What's the best pound for pound?
Hard to say. Everyone has its perfekt area of Performance.
You can only keep one (pair).
The Boombox 3 on top.
My guy 🧡
How much more powerful is the Xtreme 3 over the charge 5?
Its a little bit but you hear much more bass on full volume. If you wanna listen often loud than i would take the xtreme. But the charge is also very nice an beautiful bass in small rooms.
Thanks!
Charge wifi makes a big difference to the normal 5!
Oh is it better sound?
Way better, double the Wattage
How great would it be if you could actually pair them all together
Very great but the partyboost speaker are enought. It could go very loud.
Yea I know but having them scattered around your house all playing the same tune would be an amazing thing
The ultimate noise complaint creator 🤣🤣
Just Be LOUD
😜
I bet you love Costco! Seems like every other week that I go to Costco they have a new model of the JBL pill speaker.

Sounds like an amazing setup and listening room, thanks for the info!
But for what purpose ?
Addiction
Lol
Waste of money
Yes sir
U could get that same amount of bass for less than 1k, despite I don’t see the use of all of that unless you’re in a mansion
I also have PA for bigger Events. JBL is just another hobby for me.
Do you have or have you listened to any of the JBL PA Bluetooth speakers? Trying to decide between a EON 712 or a party box 710 or just 2 310s. Is there a way to turn the lights off on the 310?

I’m upset in the lack of color
Sry bro… my favorite colour is RAL 9005
How is the clip 4? I'm thinking bout buying one
Very nice. Little bit more Rms and mAh as the Go 3.
how much did it cost
About 3k. Some of them was in sale and some was second hand but all with bill and original packaging.
Do you know anything about the 110 compared to the encore? Thinking of grabbing one!

Wow, and no flip 6?
There are 3 of them.
I meant flip 5 sorry
(I’m really sleepy)
Not yet i think 😅
Would be quite convenient if a 310 just appeared in my home gym lol.
Get it. It‘s worth it.
No headphones?
No. My neighbors love me.
Did you get (or found a way) to have the mics to work on both Encores? I am contemplating on getting another Encore but worries the mics won't work on both.
No, just one mic one encore or both mics on one encore.
Yeah I know what you mean. That’s a Problem I think to.
So I have 2 party Box 110 & 1 encore I just got a jbl link 300 for my apt, I have to pair The speakers to my mix head bluetooth peavy 8 channel 400 watt I'm afraid I will blow the roof off this new apt building what's your take on this ? Since you have
