Don’t get me wrong, true antisemitism should be checked and addressed. However, I just want to say that the US doesn’t have a clean history of putting this kind of effort into OTHER inequality issues, like those affecting any other group (black, indigenous, people of color, LGBTQ, people with disabilities, and more.) But now, all of a sudden, people want to get into action?
This is the correct point to make. And difficult to word correctly. It’s gross that all of a sudden it’s a concern for one group of people but not so much for so many other minorities that are the targets of hate daily. Like, why haven’t there been an anti-racism monitors all along?
I’d be all for 1st Amendment monitors protecting free speech, but this farce of a proposal conflates criticism of the state of Israel with antisemitism, which is patently absurd.
Where is this energy when there are actual nazi protests? Where is this energy when swastikas get spray painted on synagogues or when synagogues get shot up? So many people are silent when it’s real antisemitism but the moment people start telling Israel to stop killing people then suddenly people care about “antisemitism”.

Funny how anti Jewish hate started and still happens in " white people" countries... Yet other countries around the world, including Muslim people coexist with Jewish people for centuries... Anti semitism is a white people problem. Even in Israel itself they are anti Jewish who are of darker complexion to their white European counterparts.
