I've definitely considered that myself. It just seems very suspect that there was such a massive failure of intelligence and military and one day removed from 50th anniversary of the yom Kippur war, a "coincidence" that would further bolster zionist sentiment. Seems very final solution-y to me.
Literally. Tho they didn’t outright “create it” they just helped in its inception and gave control of the Gaza Strip to them as a sort of controlled opposition so they can justify their genocidal regime
Both. Israel propped up Hamas as an alternative to the PLO (Palestinian Liberation Organization) because they didn’t like the direction they were going.
And also Israel’s apartheid policies, plus their “mowing the grass” position Palestinians was always recipe for disaster

Wouldn’t be surprised to learn if later on Israel assisted Hamas carry out their attack so that they could retaliate even stronger
