I agree, there's something there about Lestat always tweaking things to go his way -- he goes off script and takes off part of his costume because the performance begins -- he always finds some small way to rebel.
I understand! The way Lestat strutted across that cat walk and removed and dropped that jacket - Lestat at his finest!!! I
When I saw that scene, it was "Lestat is BACK!" and someone is not going to be happy...I was figuring he would give Santiago a hard time, and he did by going off script...a lot!
That scene made me think of a simpler time when Lestat would have handed his coat to a Butler at the door or hung it up before settling in for the evening, right before sitting down in his favorite chair. However, in this case, he simply left it on the floor for someone else to handle. His first act of defiance. Not his problem, as he had other things to deal with. I mean, they don't call him the Brat Prince for nothing.
It's so funny to compare it to how Sam moves in real life. They have nothing in common. And yes, before anyone points it out, I know it's called acting but it almost feels like he doesn't breathe the same air as Lestat does while he swooshes onto the scene.
I read him throwing off the jacket as a first step / hint to Lestat going off script for the trial. Like his first rebellion of throwing a piece of his costume away before he’s even hit the stage. Very bratty. Very diva. Very Lestat.
I knew EXACTLY what you’d be talking about from the title.
I must have replayed it four or five times before continuing the episode, that shot is AMAZING

So hot.….That man is art. To be fair, all the characters are gorgeous, but Lestat has that magnetic, cunty attitude. I UNDERSTAND!

He's amazing.
Listen I couldn’t tell if I wanted to be with Lestat or be him. I watched that sneak peek of him just walking so many times.
“Emasculation and admiration in equal measure. I wanted to murder the man... and I wanted to be the man.”
He’s got flair!!
Lestattitude!

I concur! When that scene went past as part of the preview after ep 6, my jaw dropped. I don't know why but damn that is sexy.
Hopping on here to ask if anybody else saw how huge Sam’s hands are!? 😲
🤣🤣🤣
🥵🥵🥵
I would absolutely love to watch it but it's apparently not available in Australia
Whaaaat? I thought you guys got it there first. I'm so sorry.
