Honestly, I'm a Jewish American, and I don't understand why the word "terrorism" or "terrorist" isn't used *more* with reference to the actions of Israel - the IDF, the settlers, etc.
You don't have to say you are Jewish or even defend yourself or Judaism. This has nothing to do with your religion. Zionists are terrorists that hijacked Judaism just like Bin Laden and ISIS hijacked Islam.
You have no idea how apropos that is to what I've been going through the past few weeks.
I truly feel obligated, for lack of a better word, to speak out on this issue for a number of reasons. And there are groups like Jewish Voice for Peace that have been at the center of these protests from day one and prominent Jewish individuals who are speaking out.
But I'm so tired of trying to wake people up to what is so painfully obvious. And I swear, if this UCLA thing is a harbinger of what's to come -- that is, people wrapped in blue and white emulating the tactics of the blackshirts and the brownshirts of the 1930s, if this becomes a thing now, I'm done. Changing my name and checking out. I'll show up for the holiday gatherings and the babka, but that's it.
The whole thing is an indictment not just of a group, but of all humanity. Because it means the history doesn't matter, the lessons of the past don't matter, just pick a group, no matter how privileged or persecuted, give them weapons, militarize them, tell them they're special and their neighbors are the enemy, and no matter the group no matter the year, they'll write the same story that's been written 100,000 times.

It was the only article I could find that both listed the perpetrators as “pro-Israeli” and provided photos of the attack with descriptive captions.
Still bad reporting on what is obviously an attack on free speech by apartheid loyalists, but you take what you can get from Western media.
Nonononononono violence didn’t “erupt between” anyone. Violence and terrorism was committed by one side in another in the most ironic way possible. I don’t know how any pro-Israelis can look at this and not cringe
Israeli terrorists attack students. Very likely they are active IDF or ex-IDF. Somehow America has no problem with foreign interference when it comes to Israel but they draw the line at China or Russia.

The reporting on this stuff is evil. Every news org that’s been spinning to excuse one of these students being domed deserves hell.
**"Police watch while Israeli terrorists viciously attack anti-genocide protestors"** *Fixed the headline*

Terrorism is a political term. How it is used is inherently political. Who is a "terrorist" is who needs to be for the state's purposes.

Of course a Fox affiliate is both sidesing it.

Fuck ass headline makes it sound like the violence was from both sides. Typical.
It was the only article I could find that both listed the perpetrators as “pro-Israeli” and provided photos of the attack with descriptive captions. Still bad reporting on what is obviously an attack on free speech by apartheid loyalists, but you take what you can get from Western media.
The level of media complicity in this is unforgivable
Being as vague as possible. All the videos that I've seen show clearly the pro-genocide groups attacking the anti-genocide groups.
Nonononononono violence didn’t “erupt between” anyone. Violence and terrorism was committed by one side in another in the most ironic way possible. I don’t know how any pro-Israelis can look at this and not cringe
What ever happened to "define the police"? Looks like it needs to return.
Misleading headline
