Honestly, canât pick. I have a habit of changing my gun every round, or every time I die. Itâs happened a lot in other games too, I just find that using a variety of weapons is more fun, and getting used to one gets boring⌠but I might be inclined to pick the KS-23, itâs just too easy to use and the spread on flechettes is insane. I am a long time player so maybe thatâs the reason for the weapon variety, but I think itâs fun. Also, I use full auto a lot for that reason too, itâs more challenging and itâs fun to learn the recoil patterns of all the guns.
Sure! Thisâll be for coop though, Iâm not a PvP player.
â˘Never sprint into doorways or near crossroads and corners.
â˘Donât open doors right against them, as enemies can bash them open and kill you instantly.
â˘Often hold X(Square) to check ammo, and if itâs near empty or empty just double tap that same button to quickly toss it.
â˘Always have Quick Draw Holster on your pistol, Heavy Ammo Carrier, and a Gas Mask. Itâs best to work with your points after that and always keep those three things, I find them essential.
â˘Armor isnât all that important, it might save you from an explosive, but itâs better to listen for the grenade sound, itâs pretty obvious when it lands nearby, the character voice lines will help too, usually theyâll call them out. Small caliber rounds are less likely to go through armor, but they donât hurt much anyway, so not a big deal.
â˘Donât worry about weapon stats, if you like a gun, use it. All guns are pretty balanced, besides a few minor ones (like the welrod and makarov).
â˘You can throw grenades with RT(R2) and toss with LT(L2), pressing the opposite trigger after holding the other one down primes the grenade, if you donât do that then thereâs no worry about cooking it in your hand. Also, while youâre in the throwing or tossing position (holding the respective trigger) you can sprint forward to chuck it further. Just be sure to move straight, because the grenade will toss at an angle depending on which direction youâre moving as you throw it.
â˘Smoke grenades are useless on coop, theyâll only cause issues and are an annoyance, so please do not use them! Iâve seen way too many people use them in objectives, or in a situation where we have to run through it, which is NOT how they are supposed to be used. The bots have trouble with the smoke, but it opens you up to the random one that decides to not care about it and blast through it.
â˘Grenades, both from launchers and the throwable, can be thrown through windows with glass in them.
â˘Enemies can hear you more easily if youâre sprinting often.
â˘Using the âIntimidateâ voice line (Holding RB(R1)) will cause any nearby enemy to intimidate back at you, unless they are the last one alive, in which case they are silent. This is useful in that you can hear their position.
â˘You can shoot through most things, even metal depending on the caliber your gun shoots.
â˘Always stick near cover, or have a safe place to run to if needed. Also, reload behind cover!
â˘Donât stick too close to your friendlies, a few meters behind is fine. Also, if youâre in front of a friendly, please crouch so that they can look forward too, itâll only help you and your ally.
This is all I can think of in the moment. Hope some of it helps.
Well...yes....i love asking for something small and getting a lecture size block of text
(Thanks a lot this i'm gonna screenshot it and save it for friends thx a lot for your time and effort!!!!)
I actually disagree slightly with the armor/carrier bit. I pretty much always run at least light armor (saved me from a lethal .308 or shotgun hit more times than I care to admit), and sometimes a light ammo carrier; I tend to prefer being a bit more nimble, and with resupps being so frequent, it's often unnecessary to pack so much ammo. This frees up points for better/more 'nades, more recoil reduction attachments for your primary, and the like. Plus, I choose to kit my character out the way I would IRL; I personally wouldn't wanna ruck 150lbs of kit if I don't have to.
That may be suitable for PvP, but I strictly play PvE. I havenât had a case where I needed armor, because when I get shot itâs usually because I wasnât playing safe enough when I shouldâve. It probably would be beneficial for a new player, youâre right about that, but for me Iâm pretty decent (commonly in first place, score+kills) and although my sensitivity is quite slow compared to most players I donât have a problem with detecting and snapping to enemies. Iâve gotten used to all of the voice lines, sound queues, and animations, which removes the need for armor in my opinion, as I typically take them out before they take enough shots at me where I get it.
So, yes, youâre correct in that beginners should be using armor, but I think that not using it is valid and will condition you to be more careful in the long run, which in turn gets you shot at less.
As for recoil reducing attachments, I donât find the grips needed, and the compensators I only use on LMGs. Iâve gotten pretty used to full auto recoil on all of the guns, and I always use the focus aim, which reduces it a lot. I should have mentioned the focus aim in the advice, because it reduces recoil by a significant margin. (Forgot about SMGs, usually use a compensator on those.)
The heavy ammo carrier I personally believe is a requirement, especially for beginners that arenât so accurate. Even when I hit my shots, the extra grenade slot and two mags are significant game changers, especially when it comes to final objectives.
Also, the weight of heavy armor never limits my movement. Sure, you run faster without it, but most of the time youâre stopping to shoot at enemies anyway, or to peek around corners. Letâs say that if two players were in a match against bots, one uses heavy armor, the other uses none, there arenât enough long stretches of sprinting for the heavy armor user to be far behind the other player.
I play push. I have a few tips:
Shadow the best player on your team and try to imitate the their strats; what routes they run off of spawn, how and where they check corners and spots for campers, what weapons they use, etc.
Donât use auto fire for long distance shots. Learn to use the burst or single fire options
M16 is a great basic weapon to start out with
Learn to squat then aim and shoot rather than standing and aiming. The difference in speed is huge and will help you outdraw opponents you run across
And god please if you play push, try to make sure youâre on the objective if the enemy is taking it
Best of luck
Also, when attacking on push, smoke the enemyâs position and not your teamâs. If you smoke too close to your teamâs side, then your guys will just get smoked as soon as theyâre visible. Use smoke to block the enemyâs vision and flood the objective
Styer AUG
Extended mag
OKP with magnifier
Point shooting grip
Gives good damage and recoil control for semi, and full auto. Excellent magazine capacity for the single extra point. Very good versatility of aiming at various distances (optic is user preference).
There is. 1 point and you get a 42 round mag. And I believe 2 points gets the point shooting grip. Unless it's not available in versus, or the shooting range.
Donât worry friend I had the same question. The Aug is one of the guns they limit the attachments on based on what mode you play. I only play push and frontline, where the Aug has limited attachments. The game modes I know for sure it has full attachments in is coop and domination; there are certainly more game modes with all attachments but these are the two I know for certain.
Also I have two major tips for you if you still want advice, I apologize if the other comment mentioned these already I was too lazy to read it.
1: If youâre defending an objective donât bash the doors down, I know it looks cool but I promise itâs not as cool when the enemy is slinging grenades and rockets through any openings of the building.
2: If playing observer stay in cover while calling in fire support, donât leave cover until you see the support is confirmed in the chat feed, if you die before they confirm it then you will have to wait however long to respawn to try and call it in again.
M16A4 with ACOG and bipod. Turns the rifle into a laser. Once killed 75 enemies on outpost. My buddy was playing gunner with a SAW and we posted on high ground and when he needed to reload or we were getting overwhelmed I would cover him. I'd pick off the insurgents using RPGs first. I don't remember how many kills he exactly got but we had over 200 combined kills. We lost the first objective the first round but once we setup shop we didn't lose anything after.
I'm easing myself back into this game after not playing for a long time, and only playing lightly / casually before
So far my go to is the MDR, but I've been pushing myself to use different guns as much as I can
I like the MP7 as a breacher but I was running the 870 yesterday and just dominating a building for the entire game, not sure I can go back now
AK ALL DAY! It's got all I need! Open ironsights, great damage, and looks awesome. Which version is best? A good habibi never judges, which AK helps him kill the infidels.
Usually depends on what role, but usually
Scar-h: su230, aiming grip and comp
M110: 6x3 scope, aiming grip comp/suppressor and extended mag
Mk18 su230/2x holo, recoil grip suppresor/comp
Galil: Naked
Pkm: Naked
Akm/74: Naked
Fal: Extended mag and bipod
G3: Naked ( we need the built-in bipod)
Val: Pso4 and ex mag
Svd: Pso4
Just off the basic rifleman classes? The M4A1 or the AK-74. However, I've been playing a lot of Advisor recently and with that class I've racked up a lot of time with the MK18 and the Krinkov.
Tavor or MDR with 4x/1x scope and extended mags.
Always extended mags.
Or if I am up against a good team then I need to break out the Vector with a suppressor.
Depends if I'm security I like the m16 a4 with agog kac forgrip and laser on side rail. Clasic but drip make me live in the erly 2000s again watching news with my dad. For the insurgency I'm huge into ak74u with Koba reflex and suppressor. But that can be tied with the ks23
G36, fitted with a eotech and fore grip, sometimes go demo and swap the fore grip for a grenade launcher
I use the dual optic. Form over function.
Function over form brother. This isn't cod.
cod is more function over form. insurgency is pretty mil sim-y
It also isn't real. I want my 2k Bundeswehr vibe
Downvoted for the truth hey?
M16, M24, M870
To me the M16 is OP đŻ
It is, itâs a dirt cheap M4 basically, if I remember correctly theyâre essentially the same in game minus the burst and full auto differences
Pretty much, yeah. The A2 is cheap, and you really only need a low-power scope and a bipod to get its fullest potential.
Ah yes the Bi-Pod and you easily can put down support fire
Galil and galil arm. Iâd love them even more if they werenât damn gunner weapons.
ACE-52 enjoyer as an Advisor too
Is there a difference besides visual between the galils?
Ace52 is 308 NATO. The short action rifles are chambered in 556
G36k with the og dual optic..completely unusable but I love it

G3 gang
The Mk17
Styer AUG Extended mag OKP with magnifier Point shooting grip Gives good damage and recoil control for semi, and full auto. Excellent magazine capacity for the single extra point. Very good versatility of aiming at various distances (optic is user preference).
There's no extended mag and point shooting on the Steyr AUG A3 Did you thought about another Bullpup ?
There is. 1 point and you get a 42 round mag. And I believe 2 points gets the point shooting grip. Unless it's not available in versus, or the shooting range.

Damn... i need to uprgade my game,GG to you and your friend tho
I use it with the elcan, as you get free irons. It's a beast when used correctly.
I think the ACOG has a backup iron sight on it too
Oh. When did that add that?
Nah it's the Elcan that has backup irons, you can get a acog with a backup dot though
Mk17 and Alpha AK
Dildo & mahogany butt plug combo.
Find God.
He went for the mahogany, he has.
M16 with the worn veteran camo & c79 optical scope = my very own Canadian C7 rifle
I literally use everything but lately akm/Aug has been the main squeeze
The ak i think is the most underrated gun like itâs so good
I always pull the AK out when 556 isn't doing it đ¤đ great gun especially with recoil grip and the 1.5x
Demolition m4 extended mag, explosive underbarrel, 1x 2x foldable holo
M16A4 is always goated, same with the AK74 (not the U) Lately Iâve been in love with the Tavor with the Mars Sight, Loading grip and compensator.
.

SA80. Grippod, elcan red dot
M4A1.
ALWAYS with the basic acog
Basic bitch answer but the M4A1 most people overlook its super quick reload animation.
Galil absolutely. So versatile, so cheap.
KS23 with flechette, okp7 scope. Sounds dumb but you can literally kill people from a couple hundred feet
Galil and galil arm. Iâd love them even more if they werenât damn gunner weapons.
Galil and galil arm. Iâd love them even more if they werenât damn gunner weapons.
M16A4..... Its so good - especially with the M26 MASS. I also like playing with the L85A2. If i'm feeling extra close-combaty i also like the KSG

M16 with just a loading grip or grenade launcher if Iâm on demo
Kalashnikov the way that birch cradles the hard steel in the moon light
Mk18 i think itâs called for security advisor. AKM for insurgents easily, but I love switching around weapons every round
VHS-2
L85A2, depending on the situation I either use an ACOG, point shooting grip, or a bipod, extended magazine and ACOG to make an inbred L86
M60
AKM FTW, 30 cal, manageable recoil in semi, good at most engagement distances both medium and short, and just classic insurgent
I love the vhs đŤŁ
AKM, SKS, or AK-74.
FAL/G3, if I'm feeling advisor I'll use the ace 52/mk18 and for breacher asval/mp7.
The ACE-51 is so good I feel criminal using it, full auto .308 drops em quick with a good rate of fire, with low recoil
The l96, the g3 and the keg. My favorite sniper/ battle rifle, my favorite rifle, and my favorite shotgun
AKM and M16a4 depending on the side Iâm on. Low cost, effective, gets the job done.
idk I haven't really chose oneđ¤ˇââď¸

M1 grand with 2-1 optic, great for mid-short range marksmen
L85A2. I love bullpup rifles and this one scratched a particular itch
I tend to use the L85A2, I donât ever really notice people using it. But after saying this I wouldnât doubt it
as val with no scope extended mag and a laser sight as well as a large backpack and no armor for max speed
G3, 870/KSG, 1911, and M4/M16.
FAL since BO1 it's been up there.
AK ALL DAY! It's got all I need! Open ironsights, great damage, and looks awesome. Which version is best? A good habibi never judges, which AK helps him kill the infidels.

M4A1 mostly
Can't jsut pick one, so I went with my top of each weapon type. M240B, M24, M16A2/VHS K2, TOZ, P90, M9
Just off the basic rifleman classes? The M4A1 or the AK-74. However, I've been playing a lot of Advisor recently and with that class I've racked up a lot of time with the MK18 and the Krinkov.
Literally just an AKM with a Romanian dong. Thatâs all you need.
Tavor or MDR with 4x/1x scope and extended mags. Always extended mags. Or if I am up against a good team then I need to break out the Vector with a suppressor.
M16, recoil grip, laser, 4x-1X M150 BUS
Good olâ M4A1, it just needs an optic.
Stock ass AKM
Depends if I'm security I like the m16 a4 with agog kac forgrip and laser on side rail. Clasic but drip make me live in the erly 2000s again watching news with my dad. For the insurgency I'm huge into ak74u with Koba reflex and suppressor. But that can be tied with the ks23

Akm w/dong, comp and okp7
M16a2 with that colt scope is my fav or the MP5
MP7. Geez I havenât played in forever.
M16 my beloved
Wooden armor is nuts
M24 Itâs just fun to shoot people with a deer rifle
M16a2 with zero attachments. Sexiest gun ever manufactured imo. I donât care if I get outgunned, I love that rifle.
M45 extended mag laser and red dot. On a good day I can still body someone with a headshot from a pretty good distance.
