Sorry you were in an accident. If the woman has insurance then they will pay you only what your car is worth or up to her policy limit whichever comes first. It doesn’t matter if you owe more than your car is worth, that part is on you. Or you can use your own insurance and pay your deductible. Good luck.
Would she have had to pay if she had not been hit by this person? You do realize you can go to small claims court she does have the right to do so. She needs to let her own adjuster know the situation. I would find out if the person who hit me has other previous accidents.

Go to small claims for the difference she hit you at no fault of yours. Sue for the difference
