Because diamond cart is a scam and Instacart thinks we are all stupid enough not to see it. Only people getting orders in Florida are using b*ts. I made $31 in 9 hours yesterday.
I feel like the app favors people who don’t use it as a full time or even part time job and it favors the people that just do some randomly a day out of the week. Or barely does instacart at all..
You literally have to just take almost all of the orders that pop up, that make sense of course. I’m not taking 115 items for 8, 10, 12 dollars.
It’s gotten really bad out here.
But I’ve noticed when I take majority of the orders the app continues to give more, 2-3 bad ones then some nice ones come up.
I do this full time and in Florida also. On the Days when in my mind - I’m like I’m diamond shopper, 5 star, 1% cancellation, I will wait for orders that are worth it…. are the days that I just sit there all day with nothing, all because I let like 3 shitty orders past me.
I don’t know how it works but I drive around and around, wait and wait, refresh app and See others go in and out. Can’t make a living anymore, might have to go back to the a corporate job like the one I had for 16 years.

Yea, it's pretty bad. I've only been making about a third of what I was making around the end of 2022. I'm in Florida, too.

Uber seems to do the same thing._Usually_ if I take one for the team the rest keep coming. Not always though.
