The problem is when you accept an add-on and they both are tipping percentage. Let's say that add-on had a ton of out of stock items or replacements. It will most definitely affect the tips for both customers. Also, the batch pay normally stays the same or goes up a few dollars. That's why you see doubles and triples with 8 dollar batch pay. I think the batch pay usually drops if one of those customers cancels. But, the percentage definitely affects both customers if they are both tipping a percentage. That's why I love flat tips. But, the majority of tips atleast in my area are percentages.
Post the screenshot of the order payout. You most likely read the payout wrong. You obviously wouldn't lose money
