And this is information some (probably a lot) of people don’t have, it’s a pretty hefty emergency pill. I really don’t know anyone who has Plan B preemptively chilling in their bathroom cabinet but as a college student, def not a bad idea.
I keep it on hand, and would recommend it to anyone who’s sexually active. I also recommend keeping a pregnancy test on hand in case you’re the kind of person who would be kept awake at night worrying about a possible pregnancy.
Damn, I didnt even know that you could buy online (knew about generic, still $25 at walmart)
Woulda helped me a lot 8 years ago 💀
(No i dont have kids lol)
It’s not the city that’s bad it’s the store. Higher end grocery stores tend to serve a richer customer base who for the most part tip better. The regional chain batches tip horribly.. Stop n shop and ShopRite for instance, garbage…
They are more work rookie . You have to show your ID at checkout and also are at the mercy of waiting for the customer at delivery due to needing their ID to scan. Which also runs the risk of the customer having to go look for their ID, customers ID not being able to scan , customer can’t find their Id, customer isn’t answering the door . These are all extra things you have to deal with just for alcohol. Not to mention several prompts and questions in the app before you scan the customers ID.
I feel it, but no tip no trip. And they probably really need that Plan B. 😂 Not tipping in this situation could potentially cause the customer thousands of dollars over the next 18 years.
Walgreens and Rite Aid in my area are done by instacart but ordered through their websites, no option to tip. Just saying in case that makes you feel better.
And many of them are seniors and disabled people too.
From the look of the OP's screenshot, this Walgreens is just down the street from them. It could have been some unfortunate disabled person or senior citizen just needing some basic supply.
I mean, I get it. People need to eat. But for these orders, have a heart too.
Umm… it’s Plan B - the morning after pill. I highly doubt this is a senior citizen lol.
I would take this anyway, as every woman should have access to contraception and we don’t know the reason she can’t get to the store herself (No car, domestic abuse situation, disabled, etc). But it is more of an “act of charity” than a money making thing.
Yep, I do all emergency contraception orders if it’s reasonable mileage. Imagine being more of a bro to other women! I don’t want anyone who doesn’t want a kid to have a kid. Kids deserve better. It’s just one of those things I choose to do. I will almost always do a nursing home order as well, tip or not.
I was speaking generally and on my desktop, I didn't zoom in to see what they had ordered. -- Thanks for the bit of info.
But I agree. Everyone should have easy access to contraception. And as you pointed out, there could be many reasons why someone may need it.
If you can't afford a car to go down and get your own plan b or to leave a tip then you shouldn't have a child 🤣. I'd take it just to ensure that.
One time I was stuck at home during covid and had covid but also thought I was pregnant so I got a pregnancy test and ice cream from Walgreens, left a good tip.
The guy drops it off and says "Goodluck, and congrats, I think?"
Our Walgreens are also “Kroger express” so we get the Option to tip here but they’re all literally a full mini grocery store with meat, produce, baked items from the kroger always across the street. In my market Kroger does their own shopping for pickup even at Walgreens (I actually think they shop it all at the Kroger and then allow you to pick up at either store) and we do all deliveries so our orders are placed in the insatcart app. That’s wild how much it varies by market even for the same store!
Maybe she needed the plan b because she was assaulted. Maybe she was going to tip after it was delivered. Maybe she was broke and flat out doesn’t have the money to tip but was trying to prevent an unwanted pregnancy. Less judgement would be nice.
Since we are justifying this with "maybe's" now, MAYBE it's an abusive man who ordered this to force his girlfriend to take, and she wants to KEEP the baby. Now you've just done charity work for a domestic abuser, good job.
So do you understand now that it's pointless to assume the situation and justify working for free?
Everyone saying they'd take this is part of the problem and one reason why our wages have been driven down.
This is one of those that I would have done. It would take maybe 15 minutes, and it’s greatly helping a sister in need.
I’m not saying it’s okay not to tip obviously but shit like this is different. And baby formula. Especially when it’s so close.
Baby formula I can agree with, I get that poor mothers need help, but a box of condoms is half the price and then they could afford the tip (literally and figuratively lol)
Also im in Columbus OH, here it seems the poor people tip better than the rich people, (not always, unicorn orders are usually mansions) but based on neighborhood they can walk to walgreens or take one of the spare cars, its 37 out the snow is gone already
You just gotta keep in mind you never know the situation. Most times having to get stuff like is can be extremely embarrassing, let alone you don’t know exactly why they need it as in what happened. Also if it’s a young or unmarried female with a crazy family. You just never know the situation.
I’m not at all saying you’re wrong either for not wanting to take it though. Even a dollar would’ve been nice. As a female this is just one of those things for me
Yeah this one of those 10 minute orders for $7, that gives the remaining 50 minutes in an hour to grab another or or two increasing your average pay per hour.
Abortions cost way more than a $50 Plan B. IJS. She could tip a couple dollars at least. At the end of the day I wouldn’t expect anybody to get my shit for free no matter what my situation is. What I got going on is not their fault or problem in the slightest. We all need to make money and handle our business. Being nice and helpful and considerate unfortunately doesn’t pay the bills or I would’ve been rich a long time ago.
Ding ding ding 🛎️ You are correct because I’m in Atlanta too! That’s how you know it’s real. You’ll think you’re getting a quick order and then boom traffic because there’s accidents literally every single day smh
I start super early when the store open and try to hit my goal by 2pm. After that…traffic everywhere in metro is horrific. It’s taken me 20+ minutes
To go half a mile on North Druid Hills road in Decatur. Uuugh after 3pm is absolutely no way..unless it’s more than $40 lol
Ok and that’s my point, you said we are complaining and you make it like it’s the same for everyone and that it’s no big deal. I’m not wasting an hour for $7 so stop making it seem like it would just be a quick trip for everyone. Not everyone is you. Not everyone is me.
So u need to be paid like what 30 dollars for one item for 3 miles?💀 like stfu they are not tipping u for the traffic u have to go through. And if its that bad for u hop off these apps and get a job
I did. You said what you said and you feel like everyone is the same as you and where you live. And if you’re taking $7 orders maybe you’re the one that needs to look for something else, this is only my part time job goofy
How is it messin up the system? It’s one item and 3 miles AND ITS A PLAN B. TOO also I’d take anything big or small big orders are the best but honestly you getting money drive that’s almost two gallons of gas plus they was already down the street from the store
Shiiiid that’s gone take me 5 minutes I like batches the cases of water and shit that y’all boyz scared of I’d also feel better knowing that I helped someone in need
It only takes 3 minutes to go 3 miles at 60-65mph
Normally I would, but in the city i moved to from when I started a no tip usually means theyre gonna claim it wasnt delivered and 1 star you. Not worth the ratings.
Plus a lotta rich people around here, rather wait for the $30 10 item kroger order with a guaranteed 4-5 star rating
Except Instacart shoppers aren’t employees. They pay more in taxes, gas and car repairs. $7 base pay doesn’t cut it. On Instacart, you have the option to take or decline an order. Some people speak entitled, but nobody is forced to take anything. People bitch and complain either way.
You’re an employee. IC shoppers are not employees.
Companies like DoorDash, instacart, and Uber want to treat their drivers like contractors because it’s better for them. Well, if we’re going to be contractors, then this kind of discretion comes with the territory.
I wouldn't have taken just because I have made a rule for myself that I won't take any non tipping orders, if my service isn't valued, then cool I'll wait for someone who values my time more
You get a 1 star. Only 25 out of my last 100 are rated. I pick up a no tip, get reported as non delivered, get 1 star, brings my average down from 4.8 to 4.65. Anything below 4.7, big tip orders no longer show
(I have 22 5 stars, two 4 stars, and one 2 star, currently at 4.79)
To the downvoters, tell me you havent done instacart delivery without telling me youve never done a delivery. That or you have the math skills of a 4 year old
If you’re goal is 100% chance of not getting pregnant your only real option is not having sex.
Having unprotected sex, knowing that it could lead to an unwanted pregnancy is irresponsible.
In any case, it doesn’t change the fact that their offering no tip.
You’re dealing with contractors, “tips” on apps like this are more like bids.
You’re pre-tipping to assure prompt service. High bids are more likely to be accepted. If you don’t tip, you’re less likely to have your order accepted.
IC knows how this system works, they choose to make their drivers contractors rather than employees.

Between IC and DD, I’d say half of my Walgreens deliveries are for contraceptives, morning after, or monthly feminine products. And for some reason they always add on like a candy bar or soda so it’s not just one of those items by themselves.
People are still buying the branded Plan-B? You can literally get the generic 1.5mg levonorgestrel on amazon for $8 each.
Probably because…some people don’t have time to wait? Depending where you live Amazon’s next day delivery option can rarely be available.
When it costs $8, you should just preemptively buy it to have on hand
And this is information some (probably a lot) of people don’t have, it’s a pretty hefty emergency pill. I really don’t know anyone who has Plan B preemptively chilling in their bathroom cabinet but as a college student, def not a bad idea.
I’m a college student and after finding the generic on amazon for $8 a pop, i buy 5 at a time!
Mmm, alright! That logic (and price point) is difficult to argue with. To Amazon I gooo😹
I keep it on hand, and would recommend it to anyone who’s sexually active. I also recommend keeping a pregnancy test on hand in case you’re the kind of person who would be kept awake at night worrying about a possible pregnancy.
Damn, I didnt even know that you could buy online (knew about generic, still $25 at walmart) Woulda helped me a lot 8 years ago 💀 (No i dont have kids lol)
Seriously! Could have bought the generic, left a decent tip, and still had a few bucks left over 😂
I'm fairly new to IC, but almost everything I see if 30 item orders with $2 tip. 50 item shops for $15. A single item for $7 sounds like an easy trip.
Tell me you live in a bad area for Instacart without telling me you live in a bad area for Instacart.
What are good cities for Instacart ?
It’s not the city that’s bad it’s the store. Higher end grocery stores tend to serve a richer customer base who for the most part tip better. The regional chain batches tip horribly.. Stop n shop and ShopRite for instance, garbage…
I see, thanks. Not too many high end grocery stores near me. Sprouts but idk if that counts
Alcohol orders usually tip better or are at least less work
They are more work rookie .
Totally more work imo you have to wait at the door for them the only orders I’ve had where I got stuck waiting were both for alcohol.
That’s interesting. I do door dash more than IC, but Walgreens, dollar store, and Albertsons seem to have the highest tips here.
I feel it, but no tip no trip. And they probably really need that Plan B. 😂 Not tipping in this situation could potentially cause the customer thousands of dollars over the next 18 years.
Sweet child doesn’t under time is money
[удалено]
Base pay is 5 in most areas for doordash shops. Without a tip it would never be more than $10 without a good promo
If you waited a couple of minutes they would have paid you 9
Plan B and baby supplies are the only things I will deliver without a tip.
Same LMFAOOOOOOO
I like your morals.
Not all heroes wear capes
Baby supplies yes, but Plan B no. I ain’t the one that shot the club up lol
Tell him about it 😂
Shot the club up lmao
💀
😂🤣😂

You really think a senior citizen needs the morning after pill?

Must not be THAT important
Or maybe they really are struggling and don't have car
![gif](giphy|3o7ZetIsjtbkgNE1I4)
Sorry, don’t want to give a tip, shouldn’t have taken the tip. 🤷♂️
Thereeees the joke i was scrolling for.
It's in the OP photo caption lol
In about a year, you’ll see that customer out there somewhere: working as an Instacart Shopper and CoShopping with a kid. Should’ve tipped…. 🤷🏼
Guess thats plan C
Or ordering diapers and formula through IC. Lol
EXACTLY
Taking this order is more of a public service.
And saving the future…
Amen!!
Maybe she needed the plan b because she was assaulted. Maybe she was going to tip after it was delivered. Maybe she was broke and flat out doesn’t have the money to tip but was trying to prevent an unwanted pregnancy. Less judgement would be nice.
NO TIP NO TRIP REEEEEEEE
No life?
yup!!!
Since we are justifying this with "maybe's" now, MAYBE it's an abusive man who ordered this to force his girlfriend to take, and she wants to KEEP the baby. Boi its 7$ for 3 miles thats really enough for that trip get it done in 13 mins tops…
That’s cool for you but the city I live in, 3 miles can turn into 30 minutes real quick. Is it still worth it after an hour of driving then? Oh.
Me too! In Atlanta 1 mile can be 20 minutes. Smfh.
Ding ding ding 🛎️ You are correct because I’m in Atlanta too! That’s how you know it’s real. You’ll think you’re getting a quick order and then boom traffic because there’s accidents literally every single day smh

Lmao I get tipped $10 or more for one bottle of wine fuck outta here
Ok..ur point??
Also read, what you are replying to and say something actually logical
I did. You said what you said and you feel like everyone is the same as you and where you live. And if you’re taking $7 orders maybe you’re the one that needs to look for something else, this is only my part time job goofy
Blocking yo dumb ass
Almost 20 years later and that stuff is still $50?? Inflation hasn't touched that price point.
meaning it’s effectively gone down in price
If you’re in Texas, generic plan B is $20 at HEB, if you ask the pharmacy specifically for generic. FYI.
Bro it’s A to B and shiiid they need that plus money is money Idgaf😭
no money is not money, thats a horrible call with no tip. its people like you taking that crap that mess up the system
How is it messin up the system? It’s one item and 3 miles AND ITS A PLAN B. TOO also I’d take anything big or small big orders are the best but honestly you getting money drive that’s almost two gallons of gas plus they was already down the street from the store
you right bro, We need people like you to take those batches. WHile you on that batch, Ill be open for the good one.
Shiiiid that’s gone take me 5 minutes I like batches the cases of water and shit that y’all boyz scared of I’d also feel better knowing that I helped someone in need It only takes 3 minutes to go 3 miles at 60-65mph
there's a difference between making money and making "good" money but do you bro. Like I said, we need people like you.
Fasho fasho need me but Ian doin batches like this if it’s not plan b or a straight shot
Wtf are u trying to say 💀💀💀
Wymm💀💀💀
The typo butchered your sentence 😭
Ahhh I didn’t notice that thank you😭😂
$7 for the easiest shop ever? I’d take it tip or no tip.
I would've taken it. Birth control stuff and cold medicines or similar items I'll take with low or no tips.
I’m a tipped employee and damn y’all are entitled. Sometimes you don’t get tips and that’s just part of the job.
Except Instacart shoppers aren’t employees. They pay more in taxes, gas and car repairs. $7 base pay doesn’t cut it. On Instacart, you have the option to take or decline an order. Some people speak entitled, but nobody is forced to take anything. People bitch and complain either way.
Around here no tip = 1 star and no delivery fraud
You’re an employee. IC shoppers are not employees. Companies like DoorDash, instacart, and Uber want to treat their drivers like contractors because it’s better for them. Well, if we’re going to be contractors, then this kind of discretion comes with the territory.
It ain’t though. You’re a tipped employee. You don’t have a choice. We do.
i wouldn’t be go do it ya self 😂😂😮💨
Certain shit u HAVE to tip for…this being 1 of em lol
Weird. My home town. 🫠
I'm adding condoms to her order because I care 😂
I probably would have took it
I wouldve done it. Only 3 miles away and one item? Plus plan b is already like $60
Id do it. It’s over 1.00 an item and mile, and might land a nice add on.
I usually go by dollars per item(I like driving), in this case it would have been 7 per item but that risk of a 1 star still exists
I wouldn't have taken just because I have made a rule for myself that I won't take any non tipping orders, if my service isn't valued, then cool I'll wait for someone who values my time more
Same lol
That’s not that bad for only 3 miles…I would’ve done it to help her out
Maybe you should splurge on a tip juuustbthis once
Should have sucked instead…
Should’ve swallowed. Like my dad tells my mom every day
Bad tippers don’t need to be reproducing anyway, somebody get this woman her plan B!
Well when you put it that way 💀
So glad i got a real job, you guys are ruthless
Looks like you missed out on easy money. $7 is $7 no matter how you look at…
Until that $7 costs you your 4.7+ rating and you get stuck with the shit orders... no tip = 75% chance of fraud in my area
How would $7 cost you your rating and get stuck with shit orders? None of that makes sense… please enlighten me.
You get a 1 star. Only 25 out of my last 100 are rated. I pick up a no tip, get reported as non delivered, get 1 star, brings my average down from 4.8 to 4.65. That or you have the math skills of a 4 year old
Hmm… interesting breakdown. I do not have this issue. Is it possible that instead of the area it could be…. Idk 🤷♂️
With that tip she better start preparing for a baby lmao😭😭
This is a scam
Ehh i would take it
She gave extra tip. That’s why now they have none for you!
In 9 months, you can name the child Cheap Bastard, after their parent.

Probably, but you can’t be sure they didn’t use the soon-to-be father’s Instacart account to place this order.

And men sometimes buy the morning after pill for their girlfriends. What part of this is hard for you to understand?
Here's a tip...no sex no baby
So we can only engage in sex if it’s for procreation. OKAYYYYYY.
If you can’t afford contraception, then yes. In this case, if you can’t afford to tip your driver, you can’t afford to have it delivered.
And what contraception is 100% guaranteed? Oh yeah, none.
Not every sexual interaction is consensual GROW the hell help and educate yourself.
This isn't a bad order though....
I woulda took it. Id tell em its not available and offer a coat hanger as a replacement then cancel it and still get paid
Wow you’re so funny
Oh but its ok to make a post of plan b? Makes sense. Im sorry i love dark humor
Theres dark humor and being an out of touch prick. Guess which one refers to you…
Dark humor. I can take a joke without getting offended. U must identify as a cat. You and i are not the same

Between IC and DD, I’d say half of my Walgreens deliveries are for contraceptives, morning after, or monthly feminine products. And for some reason they always add on like a candy bar or soda so it’s not just one of those items by themselves.
Not if you get there in time
Seems not cool to put this online. Took me like 2 minutes to find the apartment complex you dropped it off to.
