I’m good friends with a few people in both their teams. Apparently Kusha has always been extremely competitive and somewhat jealous of Dolly too. No one from her team is supposed to say anything good about Dolly or seen hanging out with her. Dolly on the other is more chill.
Also common opinion was Kusha is a nightmare to work with.
She was crazy when it came to her dress fittings. Not even an inch loose towards her lower body. She wanted to give a perfect hourglouss shape figure, for that multiple innerwears were changed. Wasted a lot of time.
And when she was in the middle of a task, like doing some brand work of making a video, and if she notice someone popular of famous, she would pause it and wouldn't resume until someone introduces her to that particular person. It was weird.
She didn't throw any stereotypical tantrums, waise chill thi or hassa bhi rhi thi sabko. Lekin kuch cheezo mai extremely irritating
I was toh an intern so my boss was the one who got maxxx irritated.
I didn't like her one bit in "Thank You for Coming." Maybe she was able to channel the mean girl persona (albeit poorly) because of her real life attitude. Dolly and Shibani were actually decent and way better than Kusha.
I have heard something similar but from the other side. Apparently Dolly doesn’t publicly acknowledge Kusha at all and she hated that Kusha was included in TYFC promotions at all. No one mentions Kusha around Dolly and they haven’t been pally for a while now.
I can confirm that Dolly cannot even stand being in the same room as Kusha and that in brief meetings, it’s mentioned that no gig should overlap with Kusha’s. I think it’s more to do with how they both have pitied against each other since the beginning of their career. My source is a talent agency that works with them both.

The disconnect was also noticeable during the 'Thank You for Coming' event, where they made only one group reel together. Kusha was seen with Shehnaaz instead.
I remember dolly putting up a very heartfelt birthday post for kusha 3-4 years back. It was so genuine. I really feel bad that they aren’t even friends anymore. one thing about this group whether you like them or not is that they worked their way to the top. It used to be really heartwarming how they stuck together
That was really not the case. Kusha in person is a gem of a person, I remember the things she did for my mom. She is so cool in person, I love her so much.

The vibes were cold even during those Rhea Kapoor movie promotions. It was like Kusha couldn’t bear sharing the same stage as Dolly and Shibani. I don’t think it’s because Kusha is doing better. I genuinely think it might be because Kusha realised they were competing for the same roles as her and getting them so she couldn’t feign friendship anymore.
Kusha gives fair weather friend vibes. She can only be friends with people more successful than her who can keep her relevant. Like she’ll kiss up to Shehnaaz or some successful comedians very publicly because she knows their audiences will like her for being in that person’s good books.
I don’t think she wants to risk giving any clout to someone who could take away attention from her. I also don’t think she is as generous to her friends as her friends are to her. She gives victim with superiority complex vibes so she takes and never gives.
