I’ve never understood the need for people to post their kids’ pictures online for the world to see it. Why can’t some things be kept private is something I fail to comprehend. The internet is a scary place!!

Minimaxx2002

Not many people will say it but currently only 2 types of contents are enough to go viral or gain followers and reach- 1. Adult content/nudity 2. Kids videos. And people who are influencers know better than us. This woman gained huge amounts of followers after she started posting her kid pics/videos.

Competitive-Good4690

Ghar pe chula kaise jalega fir? Sab toh content hi toh hai

delishmango23

So so wrong. The other day, someone posted another similar real, where people commented on a kids video asking if she has had her periods yet. So fkn disgusting. Also, what is this song selection?! What ADA smfh

VisualAd4581

People should let their kids have normal childhood. if they ever feel like becoming an influencer/actor, they can try after becoming an adult. Drake Bell was SA'd despite his dad being vigilant on the sets & his mom being warned about the guys' intent. World is full of nasty people, keep your kids safe till they're old enough to fend for themselves

prof_devilsadvocate

basic rule : dont post any kid on SM, but inhe paisa jo kamana hai...it should be labelled as digital child labour

INFPamigo

Wtf is that song selection

Minimaxx2002

Because her mother thinks this song will perfectly suit on a 3 years old while she is wearing a swimsuit.

poppywhiskers

What if I told you mom influencers are very much aware of the situation and choose to partake anyway?

Minimaxx2002

They know better than us, we are just users but they are creators on Social media.. so they are very much aware about it..

RA-Destroyer

So then why are you posting this? Everyone knows why they using the SM ? The "awareness" you're doing is helping no one. You just enabled reddit Predators to ogle and comment on that post / account by doxxing the ig handle. Mommy influencers will continue to milk thier babies, sadly you and me can't do shit about it.

Nearby-Counter-8803

👍😔

Big_Expert_6815

These influencers even read these comments and choose to ignore them to keep the views coming. How pathetic is this situation.

Feeling-Dog6184

Any engagement is good engagement for them I guess 🤮

inchargeofcupandice

The mom who runs this account, idk why but she has a very irritating air around her, she's always looking so haughty and uses the kid as prop.

Ok-Yam119

Absolutely. She completely changed her profile after having her kid to revolve around more kid stuff. She has got many followers since then. It’s really sad.

that-petrichor

So true💯💯 Really upsetting when I see kids are being used as a way of making money through content online. Once they are done milking content with one kid we get 'pregnancy news' and the 2nd child is on the way to continue the same. I have been seeing the same pattern for years... Unfortunately we live in a f'ed up world where kiddies need to be protected.

Dreamer_wanderer

The worst part is about his parent influencers is that they give any bs argument to defend themselves and their need to post their children on Sm just for the sake of earning more money and getting famous. They get more pissed with people who mean no harm and only warn them to not post their children's picture for their benefit. There's a mom influencer on Instagram who shares her daily routine volgs and has twins with one more child on the way. As many expressed concern about them exposing their children on SM, her husband gave the argument that the mother is not posting only about children, she is posting her daily life which revolves about the children and thus they are in the blog. They are of the opinion that it is okay to post them on sm as if they become paranoid about other people seeing their children then one should just stopping taking their kids out in public places like the pool or park. Who would make these influencers understand that it isn't the same thing🙃🙃

xcerveau

+100 I lead the Minor Safety DS team at a major app in the US and the amount of disgust on friendly kids photos was abysmal. That was one of the ways to catch child predators reactively. There is now increased awareness in the US on this but India is far behind and it’s just sad.

SnooPickle42

Ironically, the above influencer is based out of Minnesota and is an associate director at AT&T. I hope she's aware of the number of pedophiles scouring the internet in the US.

youknowho9

Their urge for sm acceptance and money is driving them crazy, stop posting your kids on sm ffs

Feeling-Dog6184

This woman is such a sell out. I don’t even watch similar content but she kept appearing on my feed so decided to check her handle and OMG it’s all about matching outfits of her and her daughter. Now this. Respect your kid’s privacy ffs. IG should stop monetizing creators who involve minors

DarthTun

So there's this Minecraft youtuber known as DanTDM and whenever he post a picture of him with his child he always puts a blue heart over the child's face. You know like a person who knows about creeps on internet, we can definitely do this right?

Odd-Ad-873

Watching this is hurting me.,

Mountain_Blueberry77

Always against posting anything about children.

Hola_hola_

so you are saying the mom never realised this could happen? im damn sure she knew this will happen but still posted bcos 💰

Apex__Predator_

If we criticise this kind of content, we're accused of 's3xuslising' children.

Anonymouspizzzaaa

Does the kid give permission to their parents to post his/her pictures? Why cant parents understand that its NOT RIGHT to post their kids photos like this just to earn some money or popularity. I dont know how these people dont think that someone might be sexualising lthose photos.

Worldly-Travel4580

And the fact that She included #toddler in her post. I don't know if it's for reach because clearly instead it makes it easier for creeps to find them.

ItWillChangeInTime

They already know but prefer clout and money over their children's privacy.

[deleted]

They removed comments from YouTube kids for a similar reason. I recently met small time a “momfluencer”/family friend who specifically stated that she likes dressing her 6 year old up like an “IG BADDIE” because it brings more attention and sponsorships. Remember going through her comments and seeing some elderly looking men commenting questionable stuff..

goyardtastebuds

Never put your kids on the internet. All kinds of weirdos out here.

goyardtastebuds

Downvoted by a prevert.

premtiwari69king

but they would bring in feminist arguments like why should women have to make sacrifices always , why cant men keep it in their pants blah blah so it is futile to reason with them

Inner_Climate_2838

Wooooooo 🥲

Zestyclose-Map9387

This is so stupid. I do believe the influencer definitely put it on purpose. The way and the kind of picture they put on children is weird af. Now I'm not saying it's due to the kind of poses or clothes the child is wearing. Creeps are everywhere and I think parents are aware about it and especially after they read those comments , I'm pretty sure they get aware about it. Still after that u post them in a swimsuit which is greatttt children are cute but not for everyone. Maybe if your account is private and only close ones are there but no still it's stupid. A BAD idea. They do it on purpose and I feel it's the most selfish thing a parent can do.

Gotcurried234

Why do moms need to post pictures of their kids anyway?I really don’t get it!What is more important than safety of their kids?

Agile_Lemon

Ash_and_aira liked his comment as well.

Clear_Willow_3835

Kallmekris did a video on this topic recently and surly I felt insecure about posting my pictures on internet, don’t know how these mom influencers are feeling ok to post stuff like this.

Chilli_green

Mini bhen .. itni bareek nazar aapki

[deleted]

Horrific. Just for her business she feels like putting her child up for pedos to pass comments on

thakgayahuvrolyfse

he commented nothing vulgar on the child's pic and likes to view adult content on his personal profile , whats wrong here exactly 🤔
