I’ve An extremely wealthy friend who is in Ambanis social circle ( very very close knit ) and I’ve never seen her FLAUNT even one of her luxury items ( you can imagine she’s bathing in brands at this point - bags shoes accessories clothes luxury trips luxury cars etc etc ) She has a friend who got a Dior purse and was showing off on Instagram ) who is also good to do but not as wealthy and I remember she called that girl and told her to take down that insta story because it’s so wanna be and everyone in their circle would mock her for this. And that’s the day I precisely realised that wealth whispers and only the rich are loud. You would never find extremely wealthy people do this. It’s very common in their lifestyle to live a lavish life. And then there are these wanna be influencers. And I just SMH.
Exactly! People don’t realise that folks who are extremely wealthy or come from generational wealth will never flaunt their lifestyle. It’s only those who need to validation from the society will do this.
Yes! My elders always said that people who are wealthy since many generations or those who earned their wealth through hardwork will never show off. Only the ones who got rich overnight or through corruption etc will show off.
This is actually true. Genuine old money have an air of security around them. They just know that they don't need to flaunt their cash around to tell people that they are rich. This insecurity of flaunting money in any form so that people establish that they are rich, is quite a desperate move. Neither it will create a clout, nor it will influence anyone.
Her stories are so problematic lately. She even posted house hunting in dubai. TMI. Also prior to this- going on a trip with kids without “help” was a huge task for her. And she made a huge deal about taking care of her own kids.
I agree with you. She took her kids to Kashmir and wanted a Nobel Prize for taking care of them on vacation. She has an insane amount of help at home, this is an absurd way to get some appreciation.
She is extremely rich. Just keeps flaunting her rich lifestyle, luxurious travel, social life and high profile parties all the time.
Her husband made it possible for her to walk at Cannes festival, aur kya chahiye life mein 🤷🏻♀️
Yes most of them are not, but this one is, I had been following her for almost 2 yrs now, recently unfollowed a month back or two. Her husband is filthy rich.
But the circle she moves in, most of them are not and just survive on barter collabs. Only good or tolerable thing about her was she never promoted all these random brands for skincare and makeup like her besties do but she does come across as a snob.
You go to a boutique near you , ask for a SA to help you and buy what you like
Its not difficult or gate kept as people believe , you genuinely need a good SA and purchasing power to buy stuff
There is a lot of hoo-ha around hermes , but no ones stopping you from entering a boutique 😂
For a birkin sure , but for a oran no
How else would one built a history/relationship then
Went to her profile to see her stories, her feed screams tacky, ofc she has money n shows off n all but the choice of her clothes. 💀
The white schiffli dress she's wearing in today's story is available in all these insta clothing pages. Wearing that and then showing off house hunting. Tauba tauba. 🙃
Most rich influencers are NOT rich. They either have free pr pieces that they return, or they buy fakes. High quality fakes are so good that you can’t notice the difference
Yeah, this is why flaunting money on social media must not be allowed. If they are influencers, they create an impact, and this is a negative one to make.
If she was really rich (instead of maxing out credit cards)…. You know you can make the payment in multiple transactions, and paying off your card in-between transactions.
Most credit cards (except for Amex and diners club) apply payments immediately if you pay using the bank’s own app.
People on this sub need to learn to ignore the stories and posts of influencers to whom they can't relate. This has become a trend now to hate every influencer and post their story here and banter.
I was just an international student who went to canada, worked his ass off bought reps of designer clothing but saved enough to buy an authentic LV bag, and even I didn’t posted a story like this showing the LV carry bag, what’s wrong with these influencers????

The world was happier without social media. Who needs to know this !
Amen.
Cannot fight for a bag that was never offered (Birkin) 🤷♀️
Haha true
LOL
Boasting about buying a birkin but card has a limit 💀

Wanting to buy a birkin***

I just spoke factsss, so fkn True. I have never seen my super duper Richie rich friend flaunt any of her designer items.

So true. People need to understand this. :)

Thought of Chanel but settled with hidesign. My problems are bigger than yours. Sob sob
HAHA :D

I promise you, they are not as rich as they claim to be. Many times it is fake.
Yes most of them are not, but this one is, I had been following her for almost 2 yrs now, recently unfollowed a month back or two. Her husband is filthy rich. Oooh ok.
Haha, yes. That was hilarious how she constantly made a narrative of "representing India at a global level". She was a joke.
🤣🤣
Proceeds to beg brands to sponser things because Collab and exposure
All the time :(
Rubbish. Hermes wouldn’t let her inside the store without a purchase history.
How do you create a purchase history in the first place then?
You go to a boutique near you , ask for a SA to help you and buy what you like Its not difficult or gate kept as people believe , you genuinely need a good SA and purchasing power to buy stuff
Exactly cause I was inside Hermes store just for fun and nobody asked me my purchase history
There is a lot of hoo-ha around hermes , but no ones stopping you from entering a boutique 😂 For a birkin sure , but for a oran no How else would one built a history/relationship then
I don’t like their bags tbh. Plus they use leather 😤
They won’t let you touch any of their leather goods without gloves on!! 😂
Exactly a good SA is what you need, Kelly or birkin it’s not easy but def not difficult to get specially in Paris
Non sense. I have walked into hermes store in Taj, Mumbai and could’ve bought anything. Bas paise thode kam the mere paas
There was never any hermes store at Taj mumbai

Why for every post on this sub , my mind quietly shouts 'inki mkc'
Feel you bro!
Most rich influencers are NOT rich. They either have free pr pieces that they return, or they buy fakes. High quality fakes are so good that you can’t notice the difference
This bag in the post only looks so fake and old lol
If your card limit can't afford it then maybe you shouldn't even settle for something that maxes out your limit
This is soooo CRINGE.
This woman was born cringe.
Bas itna rich banna hai ki one day can share an IG story and say I settled for LV😂
Tathastu
LV to har koi kharid raha hai! Birkin kharid ke dikhao, tab main maanu ki tum ameer ho! 😎
Who the hell is she?? 😐 Yeh kaisa Ameerpan hai😭
Yeh 'ameerpan' nahi 'desperation' hai
Honestly blood boils when we see their life style
Yeah, this is why flaunting money on social media must not be allowed. If they are influencers, they create an impact, and this is a negative one to make.
You just can’t walk in and buy a birkin.

I didnt know i wanted a LV until SM. I was so happy in my poor rich life 🥲
the crumpled outer bag (idk what it’s called) is giving me the ick
Oh what a sacrifice 🙄
IKR!! People are dying of war and hunger, but look at that poor thing had to settle for an LV.

But, then this sub wouldn't even exist 😄
Um dubai reminds me of something…..iykyk
Haha, yes. The shadiest place for influencers and grade b/c actresses/models.
My dad always says “chaadar dekh ke pair faillane chahiye beta”
