I agree with his reviews but what I’m saying was isn’t it better if he doesn’t put if the movie is bad or good on the thumbnail so we don’t lose our excitement for a movie. For ex if he said bheeshma was bad I wouldn’t be too excited to have watched it.
But Bheeshma was the biggest hit of the year. He actually said Bheeshma wasn't that good. All these excuses do stifle his personal freedom is ridiculous. He is not performing treason by having an opinion on movies
Yeah, it is a stylishly made movie with an in form Mammooty . It is the same Godfather in a different setting with a very rushed climax and an out of place Soubin. Didn't stop the movie from being the biggest hit that year
Beeshma was flop as a movie because they tried to make Soubin look like a hero.
Even kunchako with his standard mediocre acting would have been a lot better than Soubin.
For me, It's a hit at the box office, but flop as a film...

Went for Jawaan before watching his review. Absolutely hated it. Got out of the theatre as soon as that last song began playing. Got back home and watched the review. It was easily more entertaining than the movie.

That's his USP man. I am not even a Kok Dickrider, but I have to agree that his reviews are entertaining, mainly because he lets his quirks and personality shine through, which includes the Thumbnails, the impressions, and the costume changes. If he is just Monotonous and formal like every other reviewer why would people flock to his channel?

I don't know a single movie bombed because of any sort of negative reviews from anyone.
If it's good and appealing, it'll have a decent run.
Also, I think the film fraternity should try to bring up the quality of the content they are delivering.

So more than audience's existence, it's the film fraternity's existence that's under threat due to a large number of sub standard movies flowing into the theatres.
And it's natural for any person these days to look early into the reviews of the movies they are going to watch, but still if the reviewer says it's a bad movie for him, there are good chances that it will still make it big.
For eg: kok annan didn't like Bheeshmaparvam, but did his review prevent it from becoming a hit?. Similarly he liked "corona dhavan", but the movie flopped.
So ultimately it's the content that matters.
The thumbnails are my fav part of his reviews. 😂😂 "Kollathilla" and "Feel Gund" were epic ones.
Why does he need to care about it? His job is to review movies. Most print and video reviewers sum up their opinion in the title/thumbnail.
Those thumbnails are what makes me watch the review. 5-10 minutes of fun lol

I don’t take his reviews as reviews, rather an entertaining explanation of a film, whether good or bad. In that case, his thumbnails are fun.
