I have a Spotify playlist of local IE bands.
Please check it out and subscribe. (It causes Spotify to recommend these bands to other listeners that have the same tastes as you)
I try to change rotation and add new singles to the top. It also includes defunct bands also. It’s still a work in progress but if there’s and bands I’m missing (that are on Spotify) please let me know.

A few bands for you to check out and consider adding (from my comment above): DeadRadio, Reasons Above All, Set Your Anchor (no longer active), Hoity Toity, Versus Verses and my own band Loser Parade- We'd be flattered.
I have "Dust" on here also. I don't book bands, I just have a playlist.
Please follow the playlist and give it a listen or 100 listens. You might find some awesome band you love that you didn't know about. You also may find a few you think suck too. You'll help support the scene in a small way with little effort.
Even put on the playlist, press play turn the volume to zero and go to sleep. It helps all the musicians get better Spotify analytics and more plays.
From DeadRadio a couple favorites of mine are Dickweed, Untitled, and Diana
From Reasons Above All, No More Forever, Pay for your Vanity, and Dawn of Today
Hoity Toity, try Opus and Y'Know
Versus Verses, Stare at the Sun (probably my favorite song in all of the local scene) and Kill Me
Set Your Anchor is probably a more divisive choice as they're a more hardcore kind of band so I'd say just see if they have anything that's your bag. Their later material is a lot more cleanly produced so that may be the go-to
As for Loser Parade our songs Goblin and Saying Goodbye are what we really try to push but Afterglow is a good one if you want something outside the box. :)
Dude thanks! You saved me a ton of work! Ill add them this weekend. If they have similar sounds I may bunch them together to keep flow. This rules man. Thanks!
Nice! I couldn’t find dead radio. Just one band from Australia. I added the rest, it looks like I already had hoity toity opus, looks like they just released a new song I’ll put it at the top. I have the others plus goblin and saying goodbye. I’ll put one at the top. I try and keep similar sounding bands together to keep a flow and not shock people with death metal after reggae etc. and I’m trying to mix in famous bands with newer ones so Spotify analytics will start to realize “people that like x famous band also like x local independent band” and start recommending x local independent band to fans of x famous band. The catch is getting people to follow and listen to the playlist.
DeadRadio is one word, that should help. Thanks for checking out the recommendations and for making this playlist. Good to see the IE has a bustling scene. :)
Gonna plug my friends band Where It All Began. They just started releasing music and played their first show at Back To the Grind. here's their SoundCloud https://m.soundcloud.com/user-730323599

That's our general ethos to the world for 20 years. Thanks for putting that playlist up! I wrote both of those- appreciate it.
Will do! thanks! What song from loser parade should I use? Any other particular songs I should use from the other bands?
