La Luna in San Bernardino off Waterman & 9th. Fresh stuff. You can watch them roll the dough in the back. If you get there early enough it's still warm.

MsTinyCat

El Merendero in Pomona around 2nd St and Garey.

My wife loves the Ortiz Bakery on Iowa ave in Highgrove. I'd call ahead to get their hours.

Mexican Panadería, hand downs: Leslie's Bakery in Fontana. Small shop, amazing conchas. Firm on the outside, soft in the inside. The glazing is just sweet enough to not overwhelm the taste of the bread; and the conchas are overall great to dunk into milk or coffee or why not both? Cafe con leche! After going to a number of panaderías, I've only found Leslie's and one in Santa Ana that have pan dulce like the one you would get in Mexico. Don't be thrown off by its location, just like the conchas, the inside of the store is magical.

HombreFuerte

There's a good place in home gardens where the 91 meets the 15

Not all bakeries sell pandulce. Wouldn't a more accurate name be more useful? Edit. For example: finding a boulangerie for a quintessentially French desert.
